Window installation and shingle repairThe team at Sand Dollar was exceptional in every way. Timely response and execution. I had some design questions as we live 3 hours away and were unable to see the framing in person. The carpenter and installers were very generous with their time explaining different finish options with the large bay window replacement in our living room. Its easy to give a company a great review when the service that they provide is new; but what about after you've had a chance to really live with the work? For us, even after having lived with the remodel we're as happy today as we were the day they completed the first project. In fact we were so pleased that we had them take on another flooring project for us. From the very beginning of the project Rob and the team were great about setting expectations, making suggestions and ensuring that we would have the best possible quality within our budget. In the end, our bathroom, kitchen and flooring projects all came out great. The quality of the work, the attention to detail as well as the ongoing commitment to service has been fantastic. I gave one star only because I had to. I was basically pushed out of a new construction deal because I didn't want to do a construction loan. This after 2 months of negotiations. I was an extremely qualified buyer. The builder didn't have all of the information he needed. Once Sand Dollar found out I was not doing the construction loan, they ended the deal and said they were going to list with the realtor. Next day they tried to muscle me into an immediate purchase and sale even though we didn't have all of the information we needed to sign. We were so close to a deal. No integrity at all. Buyer beware.I am not speaking of their building ability, only about their business practices which to me are just as important.
