They were very transparent, constantly updating and they worked non stop for 10+ hours until the complete new system was up and running. We have an ongoing dispute with AMS over the quality of their work. The plumbers drilled giant holes through the joists compromising the safety of the building. The building inspector had advised to attach additional material to the joists or the tile would crack. Also they install a radiator on the wall improperly and it fell. The freestanding tub drain was not installed properly and leaked through the ceiling in the new kitchen. Another plumber had to be called to open the ceiling the fix Advanced Mechanical System's shoddy work on the drain. I fired AMS and paid several thousand dollars to another pluming company to finish the job. Do not recommend, stay away from this company. Brenda in the office is extremely rude and does not care about customers.

Very happy with AMS. Joe was very helpful in helping to pick the right HVAC system and his team were excellent. It felt like I had a bunch of MIT engineers doing the install - they were so knowledgeable with such deep technical expertise.

Joe Bolinsky and his expert AMS team were able to convert my 40+ year old house in short order, on time and at budget. Amazingly we completely transitioned from our old and inefficient, loud, leaking and dirty oil burner system, removing everything -oil tank, burner, hot water heater, air handlers, compressors and dumb thermostats. In it's place we now have a new and efficient, smart, quiet and clean system powered by natural gas. Thanks to Joe and his team for the first class upgrade

We have used ONLY Advanced Mechanical Systems for our Lochinvor boiler services since they installed it 12 years ago. Over time they managed to strip the door screws and cannot access the unit without the potential for $1k of damage to sensors ect. They would like to charge us for this and are not willing to speak to me about meeting in the middle or possibly helping me out with the cost of the service. I have asked for the owner, Joe Bolinsky to call me back several times and keep getting calls from an increasingly rude office manager, Brenda Sekenski.The last time a tech was here they tried to get the screws out for over 30 mins probably stripping them and causing this damage. I wish the tech had told us to replace the screws at the routine service call 2 years ago if they were getting old/tired and not have damaged our very expensive boiler.When I called this morning and sent an email to the owner, Joe about calling me back, the response I got was copied from email)"Dear Kerri,I've been in touch with Joe and he agrees with my analysis of the situation. At this point, his recommendation would be for you to find another company that would be willing to service your boiler.Sincerely,Brenda SekenskiOffice ManagerAMS"I was asking for a call back from a business owner and instead was treated poorly and still have not spoken to the owner. They are not willing to meet half way a customer that will literally be without heat and hot water due to their tech's careless. I am shocked at how this situation has turned out.Answering the owner below, I am starring at a AMS Equipment service record that has service every other year since the boiler was installed as per the techs instructions on 1/27/2015. The Unit has been serviced by your company 6X not 4(I am happy to send the owner or anyone else a copy of the record with your company clearly labeled) that would be every other year. In fact, counting the service call a few weeks ago its actually 7x your company has been in my home.Your tech that has been in my home the last several years is maybe 40 years old, so there is no way they have 40 years HVAC experience. YOUR foreman, has never been to my home so has never spoken to me nor seen the boiler. Your office manager may have 25+ years experience but she is rude, unhelpful and bullying. In fact, Brenda has several negative reviews herself on google, Angies List and yelp. YOU Sir, should spend the time talking to your customers, finding a solution(we never expected a free repair just a courtesy call and potential meeting in the middle) and not just answering your negative Google reviews. You told us to take our business elsewhere and we have....for the record another local company had no issues servicing our boiler and laughed when we said the screws were stripped. We hired AMS to replace our 2nd floor central air system. We had received quotes from 4 vendors. AMS gave us a detailed quote with a range of systems. They answered all our questions and provided repair work to keep our current system alive until the new one could be installed. We replaced our air handler in the attic and outside condenser. A good size crew arrived in the AM. They went out of their way to protect the floors from the door all the way to the 3rd floor. They were polite, professional and spent time answering our questions. The electricians from Quinn Electric also were excellent and provide detailed explanations to what changes they were making. The team wrapped up the work and left the entire job site spotless. AMS installed a high-velocity A/C system in our house. The time estimate was 100% accurate and all the workers were very nice and very careful of our space and keeping the house clean in between the times they were here (they literally wiped down every surface with wipes at the end of each day). We haven't needed the A/C just yet but we are very happy with their service.

Brenda - very unprofessional Customer Service. She should be embarrassed by the way AMS has trained her to talk to customers. Is hanging up on customers a normal practice for AMS?AMS sold us a water heater 4 years ago - its now leaking and well within the 6 year Manufacturer's warranty window - but AMS wants us to pay ~$800 to install the replacement. What? The labor costs should certainly be included in warranty resolution, or at least the Manufacturer's problem - not the customer with a faulty product.Be better, AMS - I'll be taking my business elsewhere. We have been using this company for several years for our boiler-heating system and they are great. The person they send to our house is always knowledgeable, diagnoses and fixes the problem quickly, and cleans up well after the work is done. They also respond very quickly to emergency calls. There may be less expensive HVAC companies out there but we feel that we always full value for the quality service they deliver.

They are the BEST! Great Job, they solved a problem that made my house cold for years, that three others couldn't figure out. AMS solved it in minutes. Now our house is warm throughout, best winter we have ever had in our home! Since then, they have serviced our system and always there when you need them. I score 5 stars for a quality install with no call backs and 4 stars if it requires callbacks to get corrected. AMS gets 4 stars due to callbacks.AMS installed new furnace and heat pumps in both upstairs and downstairs in my home. Installed quality equipment with air purifier, UV purifier and steam humidifier. Quality job with the exception of the air purifier being installed backwards to correct air flow. Took awhile to get this corrected.AMS scheduling and office management is first rate and responsive.

Advanced Mechanical has been my Heating, Plumbing and Air conditioning installation, servicing and maintenance company for numerous years. Not sure how long but it has to be more than 25 years. I find Joe, the owner and his Team excellent. All the Team is knowledgeable, on time, clean up throughly, provide excellent skilled service, excellent quality work and are all personable with a reasonable price. A few of the Team that I have dealt with are: Joe, Brenda, Brian, Danielle, Bob, Marcia and several other people on the team. Everyone has been top notch and they take great pride in their work and care about the customer. It is refreshing to have a company that has great talent and always go that extra mile to ensure the customers are satisfied.

I've been using AMS for almost 10 years now. I would highly recommend using them. I had a new furnace and water heater installed by AMS when I first moved into my new home. I have not had an issue in 10 years with either one. I also had central AC put in by AMS. The install was done professionally and they cleaned up the mess at the end of the day. Great customer service, fast response time and very knowledgeable. These guys are great! When you want it done right the first time, call AMS!

We’ve had problems with our boiler for a while…it just doesn’t like us or it’s haunted or something. Anyways, after finding it extremely difficult to find a company that knows our system I was told of Advanced Mechanical from a friend (and I’m truly thankful for the recommendation). They’ve been nothing but professional and polite throughout 2 failures on our ‘lovely lemon’. And they’re response time to get a technician out to us…it’s same day service. We won’t be calling anyone else, they’ve got us as loyal customers

I paid over $12K for two ductless systems. In three years, the Freon was pretty much gone. One unit is in a guest room and rarely used. The other in a bedroom and used 3 months, nights only. They sent someone out to look and she couldn't do anything because she didn't have a tall enough ladder. I told her the small doors that move the air did not move any longer NOT DONE. That was $183. They came back a few days later to fix the problem and that was another $1800+. I asked what happened and was told by either the woman or man who came that THE CONNECTIONS WERE MOST LIKELY TIGHTENED TOO MUCH WHEN INSTALLED!!! I asked how is that my fault, no answer was given. I still do not have the doors working. I have emailed Brenda the office manager twice and no reply is given, just another copy of the statement for $183 and a computer generated "thank you" email. Today I asked to see the notes taken on site and all pictures. I'm sure there will be no response. THE REAL KICKER IS THAT THE WORK THEY DID AT THE END OF THE COOLING SEASON IS ONLY GUARANTEED FOR THIRTY (30) DAYS. SO NEXT SEASON IF IT FAILS, THEY'LL CHARGE ME AGAIN TO FIX IT! Ive used AMS for a number of years now for plumbing and my central AC . The technicians that are sent are extremely knowledgeable , helpful and very courteous. They have continuously saved me money by looking at the least expensive way to get the job done. I would not use anyone else.
