I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Summit Point Roofing and our new roof! This roof installation was an extremely complicated project, which included tear off of 3 layers of shingles-with the bottom layer, 124 year old cedar shakes! Additionally, our house is almost 3 stories tall, the roof has a steep pitch with multiple sections, a turret (that Summit Point Roofing had to repair) and we share a driveway with our neighbors. There was nothing easy about this project! For those reasons, some roofers didn't even want to give us a quote or take on the project. I was happy to hear that Summit Point Roofing had experience with these types of roofs and I was even happier, when I saw the quote! Summit Point Roofing was great at communicating every step of the way, helping us know what to expect, and answering all of my questions, to help alleviate my stress related to this project. I was really impressed with the professionalism of this company on all levels and with all aspects of this project. The roofers are hard workers who put in some long days at our house to finish the roof on schedule, in less than 4 days! The team did a great job cleaning up our property and being considerate of the neighbors, as well. The roof looks fantastic and soon after it was finished, we got to test it out during a storm. From my initial phone call inquiry to meeting with (Josh) the sales representative my experience was totally positive. Josh was very knowledgeable about his products and explained all the choices and various qualities with no B.S, no hype, and most important to me no pressure! Josh had my best interest at heart, and what he told me is exactly what I expected and received. The project coordinator (Stacey) kept us informed of what to expect and when it would happen, and that is exactly the way the job progressed.The day the installation crew showed up (6:30 am) 12 men went right to work protecting our property, our home, our landscape, and immediately we were impressed as they showed up and done the work exactly as we were told it would be.At the end of the day the old shingles were stripped off, a few bad pieces of plywood replaced, and almost 40 squares of new shingles installed exactly as we were told it would be. The job supervisor and the crew leader were in constant communication with the workers ensuring total quality of workmanship. As a 40-year retired Building Contractor I could not be happier with the entire process on my own home. And I would not hesitate to have Summit Point Roofing work on my home again. We had an unusual job for Summit. We had some significant, woodpecker-caused damage to some of our cedar trim at the top of our chimney that was way too high for me to tackle. Our whole experience with Summit was fantastic - from the quickness of their response to our request for an estimate through the actual repair. Everyone was very professional and pleasant with great follow-through and timely communications. We are very pleased with whole Summit Point process regarding the purchase and installation of our new roof. We purchase this home only a few months ago with the full knowledge that the 24 year old roof was in need of replacement, a process which I had never experienced previously. As far as I know the work they did was okay. Clean up job was less than desirable but I looked the other way.My issue lies with the company’s synchrony as a whole. Last year I bought a house, requested to have some work done, got a quote, agreed to it, then was ghosted for weeks. As an apology, they knocked some $ off the quote & came out a few weeks later and did the work. I tried paying at time of service in January. I was told I had to wait to receive an invoice via mail or a phone call. Waited several days, nothing, called, got passed around & didn’t come of anything. I figured if they wanted payment, they would contact me.It is now ten months later, near the holidays, I have since sold said house & they are contacting me for payment.Wild way they do their business.

I absolutely have nothing negative to say about this company. After having storm damage done to my house, Im so glad I asked around and didn't go with a storm chaser. The team at Summit Point are honest, professional and hard working. Anytime, I would have a question no matter the day or time they were fast to respond with an answer. I can honestly say I would never recommend anyone else especially if you have to file a insurance claim . I am beyond grateful to have had them do my home repairs.

We utilized Summit Point to install a new roof in the early spring of 2017. We were not impressed by the crew at the time as they kept missing their dumpster, destroying a chunk of our fencing (photo). To their credit, the salesman comped us by not charging us for several feet of new wood sheathing. We considered the situation rectified and were relatively happy with the end product.However, over several days after the crew was complete, we kept finding large roofing nails all around our yard - one injuring our puppy. The response to this was lackadaisical; they took several more days to come back to our property to sweep for nails. To this day, we still find nails time to time.From there, no complaints. Or so we thought. Found out this past week that a complete lack of caulking around an air vent caused water intrusion over the past five years. Due to the recent heavy rain, this intrusion met its threshold, which culminated in a water-damaged bedroom ceiling (photo). Now we have another Summit Point mess on our hands.I completely understand that the work happened 5 years ago. And I sure hope the company has improved since then (appears that it has, going off the recent and overall reviews). However, we deeply regret hiring Summit Point for our project. Went with you guys even though you were a tad more expensive because of your warranty. The crew were on time and work tirelessly only taking breaks for lunch and waiting for more product. Our roof was in bad shape and we had to replace 60 sheets of roof decking. It was a surprise and quite expensive to replace. The salesman, work crew and supervisor were informative and performed very well. My experience with the ladies in the office was also uneventful which was delightful. I have never written a check so big before, but it was worth every penny. All in all the entire experience went smoothly. I would recommend Summit Point Roofing because of the reasons stated above. They came early the day after rain, finished the whole job start to finish in one day. Summit Point was 1 of 5 companies that quoted our roofing job. Their quote was head and shoulders better than the rest - highly detailed and thoughtfully written. It looked more like a professional inspection report compared to the other quotes which were just a cost breakdown. They gave us options for simple repairs that would keep the roof going for a couple more years, as well as the cost for an immediate full replacement. We chose the full replacement. Their prices were very competitive which made the decision to choose Summit Point pretty easy. The team at Summit Point was great to work with! They took the time to answer any questions and were surprisingly flexible with their scheduling. I really felt like a member of the team and not just someone being squeezed into their schedule. Summit Roofing installed our new roof in 2019 and did an excellent job. Recently, we discovered water accumulating inside one of our sun tunnels and gave them a call. Dan came out and went above and beyond to diagnose the issue and make sure everything was good and proper. While he quickly diagnosed the issue (condensation, from a gasket we'd installed incorrectly!), he did a thorough job checking other possible causes, including climbing on our snow covered roof to do an outside visual inspection.Truly went above and beyond to provide great customer service.
