Flat tire. Walk in. Took less than an hour and they only charged $20. Lady at counter was very kind. I won't be going anywhere else in the future. They've helped my elderly mom a couple times in the past few years when she had a leaky tire. Thank you Ball Tire team. These issues are rather traumatic for us single ladies and it's nice to know that good honest people are there.

The efficient team at Ball Tire in Alpena diagnosed and fixed the slow leak in my tire on 8-9-2022. (It was a rim/ bead leak.) I was there under an hour. Thanks to Kirsten and Eric at the check-in counter and to the mechanics.

This business gives mechanics a bad name. We recently had tires put on our truck and replace the tire pressure sensors with a alignment three day before taking the truck into them we had new ball joints put on and brakes . We didn't tell them what we did but they tried to tell my wife the ball joints were shot and I needed new tie rods and the pressure sensors didn't work but they had some for triple the price. I'll go elsewhere for now on. I would highly suggest that they stop taking advantage of people that doesn't have much knowledge about vehicles.

The price of tires is brutal now, but that said, fast friendly service here. They went the extra mile with our tire install, remounting a tire on our spare and putting it back under the car when I just had it thrown in the hatch. I also asked them to mount TPMS sensors that I bought, which they did, but they also programmed them which I didn’t ask for, and didn’t expect. Finally, they asked us to come back to check lug nuts, which I am taking to mean they didn’t blast them on with their impact. I quit going to another tire shop in town because they put my lug nuts on so tight I almost broke a 3’ breaker bar trying to get a flat changed. If I had been on the road instead of at home I never would have been able to get the tire off.

Called ball tire to get a quote on getting a tire ordered. Not only was their price ridiculously higher than anywhere else in the area, but the woman that answered the phone was a horrible customer service representative and very rude. I recommend going to up north tire. Way better people skills and they probably don’t do crack in the back room.

Amazing! The customer service was excellent. The tire selection was more than adequate. The speed that they replaced my tires was outstanding! I was spending a large amount of money. So I kind of expected good service. But the next customer was there for just a tire repair. Their effort in helping him was just the same. I will return and send friends and family.

Can’t give 0 stars. My friend (who I was helping) called prior to try to make an appointment to get all 4 tires changed. Carl answered and said just bring it in whenever, no need for an appointment. We live an hour away.I drove up there and dropped it off while my friend was at work. They were busy, I get it. Told him a few specifics of what my friend wanted and Carl didn’t bother to write it down, just took my number and said he would call me when it’s done. I walked downtown for 3 hours. Came back and the vehicle didn’t move. I went inside and asked how much longer and he said they were trying to fit it in between appointments (which they told us not to make, just drop it off). I walked out upset and called my friend who then called them and told them I have no where to go and have been walking around for hours already and was told we didn’t need an appointment so what’s the deal? Next thing I know it’s the next one headed in, I can only assume it’s because of the phone call my friend made. Vehicle gets done in decent time however one of the valve stems isn’t reading properly. I go back in to tell them something’s wrong and they write down my info to call me in for a ‘redo’, who knows how long this will take because I’m assuming I’m going to the end of the line. I head back outside to park and the gentleman that did the work changing the tires came out telling me to hold on, he forgot one of the hubcaps. He put that on quick and I mention to him that the valve stem isn’t reading properly, another coworker of his says to just have me pull up to a door and check it. I do that and he spends less than 5 minutes fixing all of the little nit picky things for me and I’m good to go, finally. They charged an extra $20 from what my friend was quoted for the service. Final thought: not one employee was wearing a mask. I understand the guys back in the shop area but not at the front desk. I saw more customers wearing them than employees.

So far so good. Ordered tires, got them for a 1/3 less than I was expecting. They sized some rims everyone was super friendly and they had me in and out fast. They put the new rims on tomorrow. :)

Not only was his crew friendly and courteous they took extreme care of my wife's new car and the price was half what we were expecting to pay for her alignment. My son went to ball tire to get his tire fixed that had a slow leak. The lady informs my son he has old tires and give him two quotes one for 800 dollars the other for over a thousand. He calls me and I tell to show me a pic of his tires. Look like plenty of tread. He goes to Walmart and they fix his tire. Never tried to sell him tires.

Came here for a tire rotation and they were very busy. Carl said to either come back later or in the morning. I did a few other errands and came back. He motioned for me to drive on in a station and two of the guys completed my tire rotation in 6 minutes! I usually don't time work but the one guy suggested it wouldn't be long. We have bought our tires here so there was no cost.

Went in to fix a simple leaky valve stem before an important trip the next day. Next morning went out to find a completely flat tire. Missed my meeting, spent the whole day trying to get it towed to a different shop and then fixed. The other shop said that the valve stem that they took out was the stock factory one. I don't know what these guys did to my car but they sure did the opposite of what I needed. The front desk rep could use a lesson in customer service as well . . .
