I was scammed by one of the workers named "Geno"...and in the end nothing was actually repaired as I was told it would be. This guy told me he'd fix my broken pipes and my bathroom would be all fixed for a set price which I had agreed on. He told me during his time here that he'd add shut off valves "for free" because he's such a nice guy. Well, that is all he did besides weld a "new" used pipe that had a hole in it above this "free" shut off valve! The bathroom was left as it was otherwise and so I paid for what then? Ridiculous...what a mean joke! Con artist...he spent his time telling me how much he disliked past customers meanwhile. Well, I could understand why they were disagreeable! I called after my bathroom flooded and he told me to just not use my bathtub/shower. Say what?? They even refused to repair or replace the badly leaking pipe with a hole that I had paid for. So what exactly was I billed for here? I'd never experienced service quite this bad before this. NEVER AGAIN....and I will warn others to stay far away. This company should be ashamed of the "job" they did here.Bottom line: Be very careful working with these guys...if they see a way to take advantage of you, they very well might.I (very thankfully) later found a trustworthy and kind businesss elsewhere.

My 90-year old parents had their water heater go out and I called Lakeshore. They came within 1 hour, assessed what they needed, ordered the replacement and were there the next morning to install it. We could not be happier or more grateful to them.

I have been having issues with my water meter and being charged a huge amount. I called and they had someone come out right away. The tech. was so nice and helpful! Got right to work and did everything in his power to help me! I would recommend to anyone!! Thank you!!

Terry was a gem yet again. We had a long list of things we couldn't ask him to do last time he came out to fix our air conditioner. This time he replaced our filters, which were screwed on too tight, our outdoor faucet that had stopped working. Now works! He also replaced and cleaned the humidifier filter, getting it ready for winter. I hope this plumbing company is already number one in our area. They are the only one that answers and calls. Thank you.

Well I will never use them EVER!! Told them I had a gas leak they told me I wasn't an emergency..I have kid's in my house a gas leak from my furnace was a priority..She told me there was people that had no heat that was more important..Mean while don't mind if my freaking house blows up with me and my kid's in it.. I called them and they gave me a quote and when they could come out and install a new hot water heater. Tom sent two guys, they were on time, friendly, cleaned up after their selves, explaining everything and did a excellent installation. The person answering the phone, she was very friendly and helpfu, everything they promised was full filled.

Wonderful and Fast Service. They traveled to us regardless that we were 1hr away from Alpena. Given the circumstances we were asked ahead about travel fee which was reasonable and understood. They did a wonderful job, polite, efficient and quick. I would use them again.

I give this company a zero rating. The tech came out in October to assess the problem of no heat, stated they would order the part and after several follow up calls to set up an appointment, they will not come out and make the repair. It's December and we still are without heat.

Called 3 times over 3 weeks. Every time the receptionist told me someone would contact me but of course, no one did. Complete waste of time. Incredibly disorganized people. Found another company.

I have used them many times and was quite happy in the past. Most recently they sent a tech out due to my furnace not firing and the tech condemed the furnace. He claimed it was leaking CO2 and was unrepairable. I got a second company to take a look as they said it would be at least a week before they could replace it. The other tech showed my wife there was no CO2 leak and in fact the problem was a bad orifice and leaking pilot line which he fixed. I have a CO2 meter in the same room which maintains history and it agreed that the highest detected level of CO2 was zero. I spoke with Tom (owner or boss) to explain why his tech condemed it and he said he is not interested in coming out to show me why the furnace should be condemed and no longer would like my business. I am definitely questioning their past claims of other items they claimed were irreparable and would strongly advise you to look elsewhere. They do not appear to be trustworthy (at least not all of them) and will not support their diagnoses when caught in an error.

Hired Lakeshore Plumbing via a contractor. After he "finished", the water temperature in our house would not rise above a lukewarm state. This was on Friday afternoon. He said he'd come back the next day and take a look at it. Waited around all day, and he never showed. Got a text later on in the evening after 10 hours of radio silence saying he'll do the work for $108/hour(to correct the mistake he made) or I'll have to wait until Monday. This is absurd and insulting. Don't go with these "professionals" unless you like throwing money away.

Very informative, curteous and exact - except for nailing the final repair bill. But, it was worth it. If pennies matter, get exact quote. This guy did an OUTSTANDING job on my plumbing repairs - AND - I recommend/will use them again!!!

Took them 3 weeks to schedule me. Thought the leak was gone, told them I would contact them right away if the problem came back. Next day called letting them know it had returned, was told the message would be given to the plumber who would contact me. Been two weeks now and I have somebody else coming, no return call from Lakeside. That is not the way I treat people.
