My garage roof was redone some 20 years ago. The roofer that did the job failed to install a protective boot around the electrical mast that runs through the roof soffit. The wood around the mast rotted and allowed the mast to move out of position. Consumers Power had to disconnect/reconnect the electricity so repairs could be made. Ross was the roofing expert [ 20 plus years of experience] for Above Roofing and new exactly what to do to fix the problem. His work was professional, he was neat, and did all the work on a timely basis. We were very impressed with his work.

The communication was stellar. I knew what to expect and when. Each person I worked with was very kind, friendly and professional. The quality of work and clean up was excellent as well. I feel confident the job was well done since they even have an inspector come to look at the job and double check clean up. What was really nice is they didn't recommend work that didn't NEED to be done! It didn't feel like they were trying to see me things I didn't need. This company has their act together. The entire process is easy and pleasant. Alissa in the office is on the ball and gives warm and friendly customer service. We had 2 skylights replaced. The installers; Terry and Ross arrived exactly on time and did a complete and professional job. We highly recommend Above Roofing. We had them reroof our home and garage and they did an outstanding job. They go above and beyond in communicating throughout the process. Their sales and administrative personnel were great but I want to especially compliment the crew who did our roof. They were a pleasure to work with, protected our landscaping during the job, cleaned up afterword and did outstanding workmanship. I will say, they probably won’t be the cheapest bid you get but you get what you pay for and we are happy we chose them.

We got 4 other quotes and he was the only one to tell us it would be a waste to put an entire new roof on our home- all other companies wanted to do this despite it being overkill to address the problem. Had a leak by chimney. Had it looked at by a roofing company who advised needed saddle in front of chimney. Left 3 messages for an estimate with no call backs. Had 2nd roofing company look at it. They advised they would only quote either complete back of house or complete house shingle replacement. Called Above Roofing, Phil Edwards came out gave estimate for the saddle job. Gave deposit and Received email from owner thanking me for choosing them and that I was on their schedule. About 2 weeks latter the saddle was installed. Saved us over 7k when another company told us our entire roof had to be replaced, when really it didn’t. Very polite all around. Only thing I would recommend is ensuring notification is sent to the customer of someone coming out before they do the repairs, I had no idea. I was extremely impressed with everyone from start to finish Derek was very informative and did a thorough job inspecting my roof and sharing with me the trouble spots he observed with my roof There was no high pressure from him to sign a contract . The workers were awesome they did an amazing job and clean up was stellar I have absolutely no complaints with this company. The project manager came within a week of completion to inspect the roof and make sure that the clean up was done to their satisfaction and mine. Honestly there was not one nail left behind . It's either incompetence or they did it on purpose.They left so many nails in my driveway, had them back multiple times just to clean their trash. They didn't even do work near my driveway but there were so many rusted nails under and on top of my RV.Cleaned out my gutters for the season and just found 200-300 more nails in my gutters.The section of roof the fixed is less than 8*20. The gutter only covers one half of that. I don't even understand how this many is possible, it's like they dumped their trash directly into my gutters...which would be why they are now barely hanging on to my roof/siding. All this extra weight from the season and they slowly ripping off my house.I've had it with this company, they already claimed to be out here 3 different times to clean up and I'm still finding nails this long after using them.Service: Roof repair
