My house had developed a terrible leak! I went into their office on Division. They booked me a next day free inspection. The owner of the company showed up and spent an entire hour looking at the roof, checking the damage, measuring, taking pictures, and speaking with me in common sense terms. No sales tactics, no limited time offers no gimics and no fluff. He pulled a satellite report on my roof while he was there. He had material samples in his truck. He provided me the estimate I asked for and then also shared his honest recommendations about how to approach the leak. I did not expect this. He is a principal executive and I'm sure a busy man who had better and more important things to do. But he treated me like a friend or a neighbor and showed care and concern for my home and needs. No wonder Avalon has experienced success and growth in West Michigan. When you can tell that a leader of a company places care for a customer first, you can expect those values have permeated into the staff and operations. I am looking forward to this roofing project with Avalon. Thank you Rick

We had some storm damage and Avalon took care of it all! Roofing, Siding, Gutters, and windows, all done very well. Paco and his crew did a meticulous job re-siding our house. He kept us up to date with anything that came up along the way and gave us peace of mind that everything will be taken care of and done properly. His entire crew was friendly, helpful, and provided a great experience with beautiful results. On top of that, our sales man Ray, and April, Jen, and Amy in the office were very easy to work with, and quickly answered any questions we had. I highly recommend Avalon.

I love the work that I’ve had Avalon do on my home. My most recent project was to add rain gutters to the beautiful roof that Avalon also installed. My salesperson Mike V. was knowledgeable and was able to provide exactly what I wanted, and to my surprise they also have a lifetime warranty on the gutters! Their prices are competitive and the installers were very nice, they even installed my gutters in the rain. I’m very pleased with Avalon and will continue to use them for my home projects.

Our sales rep, Justin, was very professional and knowledgeable, and even came by during install to check progress. The install team arrived at their scheduled time and finished quickly. Dumpster and material coordination was taken care of by Avalon. Avalon then came by after and did a final QC check. The whole experience was easy, arranged and completed quickly, and done well. I received a notice from Avalon on my door, regarding a free roof inspection. Rick Mead came out, from Avalon, and inspected my roof. Rick did not push a new roof on me, but said that I would likely need one, in the next few years. Rick educated me on the quality of the new shingles. He then gave me some prices.I decided to get a new roof, at this time. The Avalon workers came out eight days later, and replaced my roof. I am very happy with the new roof. Also, the workers did great clean-up work.Avalon replaced my original deck, and put a new, composite deck on my home, in 2018. I am very happy with this deck, as well.I would recommend Avalon to any homeowner.

This is a follow up to my previous quote for windows with Avalon.The 2 windows are now installed. They arrived in a shorter lead time than expected. April in the office was very helpful setting up an installation time that worked with my schedule.Mike and Julian arrived on time and fully prepared to get the job done correctly. They took time to dispose of all waste and leave the work areas clean. Mike answered my questions and I am fully assured of the quality of their work.April followed up 2 days later by phone as to my satisfaction. I highly recommend Avalon Roofing for your roofing needs. The crew did a great job. Showed up early in the morning, prepped the areas with tarps, and then quickly went to work. Hard workers. Had existing roof scrapped in no time. Started the job around 6:30 am, new roof on and area cleaned up and done at 11:00am. Looks amazing! Came back next day and made sure nails were picked up on the ground. We chose the color charcoal and it looks amazing! We highly recommend Avalon. Price was great and no hidden surprises.

Got my roof, 1/4 of my siding, and my gutters done by Avalon between the end of 2023 and the start of 2024. Frank Troyer was my primary contact and of course, promised the world. An on-site quality assurance individual, the roof to be done to spec and code, etc, etc. There was never a quality assurance person at my house. The ridge cap was secured with standard roofing nails, not the required fasteners it comes with. We negotiated a bat door to be removed and adequate protections to be in place only for no protections to be installed and a gaping hole left for red squirrels to intrude in spring. Upon attempting to contact Frank, there was nothing but crickets. The only work that was completed as promised was the siding. That individual performed above and beyond his duties, this companies not only falls short on all other fronts, it straight commits fraud to your face. Run and don't look back.

I am so impressed with Paco and his crew. They just completed siding our home and it is just beautiful! I had resisted siding my 100+ year old home because I preferred the look of painted older homes, but I have completely changed my mind. My home looks better than it ever has. Paco communicated throughout the whole project. His crew was professional and demonstrated craftsmanship and care in every detail, and it was evident that they like their work. Gracias guys!

The crew headed by Francisco "Paca" did a awesome job installing my new siding! Francisco's installation suggestions were "on spot" and appreciated. My neighbors were impressed. We had a tree fall into our yard over the fall and it pulled our gutter down a little bit. It wasn't until late winter that we realized that the board connecting the gutter to the roof had been pulled down by the heavy snow and rain. We contacted Avalon Roofing and Exteriors to come and give us a free quote, and that's how we met Chase. He is very friendly, one of the most down to earth people I've ever worked with. He was very upfront about all costs and fees and never tried to upsell us. We look forward to working with him on this and future projects.

Avalon owes me money thousands! I was in concrete subcontractor for Avalon for a few years. The owner text me told me to send him an invoice and he would pay me for reaching out a concrete driveway. How does it feel to rip people off??? Horrible communication. Amy is a very rude person 😡 and the liars they would tell customers that I would be there without even talking to me first to schedule so therefore everybody else come in contact with would be very mad and I've never even come in contact with them. I wish you karma is all you all. I would start hiring a couple of new guys as of I know of one of your key ones are leaving you soon goodbye this year.karma staring soon

We are in desperate need a new roof! An employee of Avalon's came to our door with information about Avalon and telling me they do free estimates (and it was truly free!). We set up an appointment with her to have someone come out to our home, on our time, to give us an estimate. Kenzie was the most polite person there could be. He told us everything he was going to do. He took pictures of our roof and explained everything very well to someone who has no idea about roofs. His explanation on why it was bad and how it was damaged very well. Then after that he showed us all the materials they would be using on our new roof. The material they use is very well made, very durable, and would probably out last the house itself lol. He worked with us on financing, asking us what amount of payment would work for us and after a couple days we heard back from the company about moving forward with everything. The one thing that we loved the most is that we wouldn't have to make our first payment till four weeks after the job was complete (if I remember correctly). They will dispose of everything for us after and it's not added to our final bill! I couldn't say enough positive things about this company! Very highly recommend!

The color matches much better then before. 50 year warranty, top quality shingles, and the best service and sales advisors I have ever dealt with. They were friendly, honest, and very helpful. I had Avalon do the roof on my garage in spring of 2023. Mike V came out and took the time to answer all my questions and gave me a reasonable quote. He wasn't pushy and was patient, honest with his responses. The day I was scheduled for was pushed back due to rain and I had to go out of town during the job. The project manager sent me pictures each step of the way and let me know of anything unexpected before continuing with the project. The quality of work was very good.

Avalon put a new roof on my mobile home about six years ago. They charged me $6000 for the roof. After it was out on I had water come through the roof in the kitchen, bath and back bedroom area through the ceiling.I went back and forth with this company to get it resolved. Reported it to the BBB, etc.When someone came out to look at the roof I noticed he was calling a shingle.This company is the worst I've worked with and advise people not to deal with them.

Excellent customer service. I called for same day service to have counter flashing done on the chimney and to replace a piece of soffit. Lorenzo was very efficient and polite. In and out really quick with a reasonable charge for the service and expedition of services. Would definitely use them again and highly recommend. Thanks Lorenzo and avalon.

Unacceptable driveway replacement. Cracking , staining, water flow off driveway into garage. Reverse flow into the garage. Had to raise the garage floor to compensate for there work. 4 trips to make repairs or adjustments on the gutters. Trying to use my electrical junction box for installing insulation in the attic because their generator was broke. Didn’t fix the roof leak and called and was told out of warranty. Just bad business practices and lack of knowledge.

The rudest company I have dealt with. They installed our new roof in 2017. We had a warranty issue and we were given the run around for weeks, until a small problem became a HUGE problem. When I called to check the status of the warranty I dealt with the rudest people have encountered at a company, left my blood boiling. Got a referral from the warranty company for another with another company in town, to actually repair our issue. They found unsealed areas in the roof and expressed shock at the terrible repair work that had previously been done. I would suggest avoiding this company at all costs. 1 Star honestly isn't low enough of a rating.Edit. The owner of Avalon contacted me within a day of posting this review. He was in agreement with me that I was treated disrespectfully. And wanted to "Make it right" and spend extended times on two different phone calls telling me how great his company was. The offers for any compensation were conditional that I remove this review. I stand by my review and suggest researching both BBB and yelp for reviews that more accurately represent customer experiences before agreeing to work with them.

I had Mike V come out and look at some potential issues with my house regarding water damage that may have come from the roof. He was completely honest with me and pointed out where the issue may be and some improvements that could be done with the house but may have been out of scope for the company. He was a breath of fresh air from the sleezy salesman that is only trying to make a buck and had a candid conversation about what could be the issue and possible next steps. If I have a project or improvements I will 100% go with Avalon Roofing and Exteriors.

We had a salesman from Avalon come out to give us a quote on a garage build and front porch. Just eyeballing what we wanted he threw out a quote of over a $100k. He said he would work up a formal quote and send it over. We were ghosted, nothing. Speaks volumes to lack of integrity. I know their specialty is roofs and maybe they werent so confident in constructing outbuildings, I'm not sure. Also, the place we just bought needs a lot of work to be done so I think he made a snap judgement that maybe we couldn't afford it. Anyway, thanks for wasting our time. We found a different contractor and we have an excavator hired to clear and level the spot. Construction begins soon. Your loss.

I sit on a condo board in Walker Mi. We hired Avalon Roofers to do a new roof over one of our units. Avelon was timely and reasonable with their pricing. Avalon roof replaced my roof in 2022 April, the roof was professional installed, there team combined with salesman, customer service, good coordination on materials delivery, a big crane truck drop and secure half the materials on top of roof, installation teams with more than 10 persons, finished within two days nice and neat, bushes were protected, all garbage were picked up, nails not left on ground. The next day there site inspection person came walk through the job make sure the qualify. Later there was a small leak found through utility room chimney and called the customer service crew were sent immediately next day and fixed it. A year later 2023 October there are some minor thing need touch up and contact the company customer service and issue resolved within two weeks.
