Have used Champion in the past and have had good results. So when needing a new slider we decided on Champion. Unfortunately, this time was very disappointing. The original installation resulted in the doors, not fitting. Had to place a wood piece in because the doors wouldn’t lock. Waited a couple weeks and they said they had new doors for us.. On arriving the doors were not the right size. Ordered new doors and waited another four weeks and the installers came in and found the frame was not square. So had to have the fourth appointment and had to have them come back. And try to make it square but didn’t succeeded . They implied that it was close enough, but in truth it’s a quarter inch off.. so we held back the last payment to talk to the supervisor Who arrived the next day. Wanting the payment, and we were very disappointed and how the door looked. The caulking Was messy, the door was dirty And they didn’t even bother to try to clean up. since we had to wait so long and still isnt exactly the way we would have hoped. We thought they would have went the extra mile to make things, right. Needless to say, our overall experience was not great. The door is in, but it still doesn’t look quite right. Was given a gift card which was a nice Gesture. But would’ve preferred to have the door be correct.

We had a great experience purchasing windows through Josh. Josh was very professional, knowledgeable and concise which we really appreciated. We walked away feeling like we got a great deal and we’re excited for the installation!To follow up on this review, our window install is now over a month late due to supply chain delays and our install date being cancelled day off, hours after our appointment time. I’m hoping the future install goes well, but I have become increasingly frustrated with the communication since the initial purchase. I would never recommend this company! If you need replacement windows run away! Terrible to work with and sales staff are professional liars and good at it. They do not have staff installers as stated and use only subcontractors. These subcontractors are not trained well, unprofessional and really botched our installation. To remove a slider they first cut 10 “ into our siding which was not needed, dropped the slider which exploded into thousands of tiny pieces (after 30 months we are still finding glass) then installed the slider in the wrong direction and left a 10” partially sealed gap in the siding. These guys never came back and “ghosted” Champion. 3 months later a “fix it” crew and a regional manager showed up and determined that the gap needed to be trimmed which made the slider look nothing like the rest of the house, stated that they could add additional trim to make it look better, and ordered a new slider. Four months after that the new window came and was installed but that slider was warped and another new slider ordered. No one told this installer about the trim and he couldn’t fix the issue but wanted me to sign off on the project and pay the balance. No way was this happening! Now after almost two years they installed another slider and proceeded to gouge out the window trim. I refused to pay and last year received a threat of a mechanic lien being placed which I threatened to file my own law suit. Never heard for Champion until this spring when another “fix it” guy contacted us to see what the problem was and what needed to be done. After a visit and several emails he determined that they could place new siding around the slider, great but where would they find siding that was faded for 28 years to match the existing siding. Not a good look on a $600k house. I once again turned that offer down and told them to either side the entire back of the house or write off the balance. Never heard back until now, 8 months later, another threatening mechanics lien letter arrived. To summarize… terrible miss-leading sales persons, incompetent subcontractors, un-caring management that turns over often and a company that does not communicate internally! If I could leave a zero star review I would! Run as fast as you are able away from Champion!

Champion finally, after 6 months of back and forth took care of most of the issues. The tech was sufficient and friendly. I would never use this company based on all we went through.This company is a sham. Below is a more detailed list of my experience. It is 3 months since my initial contact with them. They area still "waiting on" parts. I put it in quotations because the service guy who came to the appt told us that Champion orders the parts from Lowes. Two weeks ago, fed up, my husband ordered the parts himself and they've already arrived. With Champion you pay to have someone come to the house and determine your needs, a "service call fee" that is then supposed to be deducted at the time of service. Well, they got their money but we've gotten no service. Glad I know the local director of the BBB, because that's my next stop.So far my experience with Champion has been unsatisfactory. I had a visit with a technician then weeks without any communication. I called and was told my area representative, Chelsea, would get back with me by the end of the day. Again, weeks go by. I called again, was told I needed to speak with Chelsea. I explained she hadn't gotten back with me, this person reached out to the supervisor who looked into my account and told me they don't send a technician until I pay the trip fee...(me) well, the tech was already there...(them) oooh, that shouldn't have happened...... (me) ok, well, it did, what now? (them) you pay the fee and we'll order your parts... (me) so, someone there doesn't do what they were supposed to and I'm stuck waiting...(them- 2weeks ago) we'll try to rush it.IF this wasn't an entire sunroom of non-working windows and doors I wouldn't bother. IF they come through soon with good service I will update. Not that it makes out more important than any other home but this is for my elderly mother and disabled sister's house. They love that sunroom and haven't been able to enjoy itLatest interaction on my "rush" service"... 11.2.23 they tell me they will rush the order, I get a call 2 full weeks later (11.16.23) that they just placed my orderOn 11.21.23 I had a new rep, Khandice, call to apologize on how my account has been handled. Words are great but since they took my payment and this call...still nothing. To clarify the windows and doors in the sunroom do not lock and can't be used. As I've already said, the sunroom was a dream for my elderly mother and disabled sister. They couldn't wait to use it but have been unable to. Thet can't even use it to let their little dog out because the doors are stuck in lock position. It is now 12.16.23 and I've not heard a single word. Actions not words please!

After waiting 2 1/2 years for the completion of the project, although the installer was very professional, it was their 3rd attempt to install the door because they kept getting the dimensions wrong. Working with Champion was frustrating until the very end when the door finally showed up and then they were very accommodating. The door looks great from the outside but the inside still has a lot of finishing to be completed. I'd have to say this was probably the most painful home building project I've ever experienced. Working with Champion really took the fun out of upgrading our home.

I am very disappointed in Champion. I read the reviews and decided to give them the benefit of a doubt but I should have listened to the reviews. The customer service at Champion is the worst! They hounded me with phone calls to collect the payments but when I need something from them they are not available. They owe me a replacement window for one they installed with a flaw. Once I signed the completion forms, I have not received my window and have not heard one word from them. What the heck, Champion!! Windows are expensive and your customer service needs to be way better!!! I would not even give you one star but I cannot submit this review without at least giving you one star.
