Shane the owner was honest and there for me if I had questions or concerns. Rain caused some major issues with the project and it was more extensive then first thought, but Crew leader Pedro followed through on doing the project right! A great local, family owned business that is professionally ran. They showed up as scheduled for both the quote and installation of our new roof. There was ZERO mess left and they were very reasonable priced. After dealing with other contractors for various other projects, this was quite a relief to work with Grand Rapids Roofers. I'd definitely use them again, but with the quality of the materials and their workmanship, I don't think I will need to. Thank you again for getting our roof replaced so quickly. It looks fantastic! If you need a leak fixed or the whole roof replaced, give them a shout. You will not be disappointed.

They did a great fast quality late season job to make sure we kept winter outside our house this year. It started with getting a call from my wife about a small leak while I was out of town. She called around and Shane came out that day to replace the pipe boots that were rotted and give an estimate for the rest of the roof.After I got home I started checking on other estimates and Grand Rapids gave us no BS. Others who came were Salesmen looking to sell a roof and make a profit. Shame was a guy who just wanted to help out with a fair deal and get us what we needed.After we picked them, they were out as soon as the weather permitted, Michigan early snow, etc. The weekend after install, we received high wind warnings and I admit, I was slightly concerned with the roof being done in colder weather. But the heat guns or torches, or whatever method they did to seal, worked great and we had no issues with the winds.Great Veteran and family run business. Called for an estimate for a straight forward new roof on my house (which is not huge) & was disgusted by the amount they were asking. The # they gave me is more than double the high end average for MI & 1.5x the national high end average in 2018! Very much seems like a company taking advantage.Update: I have now received several other estimates all ranging between $10-11k which makes GR Roofers asking $25k look even worse.
