They put our new roof on last summer. It was a big job and they had an amazing crew that knocked it out in two days. I was astounded by the professionalism and speed with which they got the job done. They cleaned up very well after the fact. Great experience with this company!!! They did a complete tear off and redo of our roof in 2018 and the finished product looked amazing. We recently had a hail storm go through our area and multiple companies came out to bid and solicit business. We decided to call Moore & Sons back to diagnose and give an estimate and ultimately they won our business again. Moore & Sons hassle free and no pressure approach was welcoming compared to the other roofing companies. We appreciated Ed coming out and working side by side with our insurance adjuster and following up throughout the entire project. Ed Moore was very responsive to my concerns about a leak we were noticing. Our first thought was the roof they installed back in 2019, but without hesitation, Ed came out, gave us a few thoughts on what could be the cause and then did an inspection to determine the actual issue, which was a cracked B vent from our water heater and not the roof. Ed was very professional and helpful, and has given us the necessary information to address the real issue. I'm very grateful for people like Ed Moore that put customer service first. Moore came in with a fair price and installed our roof in the time frame promised. Very impressed with materials, workmanship and professionalism. They ran into some hidden problems under the old roof and did all necessary repairs to make it better than new. Clean up and neatness of crew made us wonder if anyone had really been on our property. They even sent someone over the morning after the job was completed to inspect and make sure all was left in good order. Would Highly recommend Moore and Sons to anyone who needs a new roof or repairs!

HONEST, PROFESSIONAL AND TRUSTWORTHY!My husband and I had our roof completely re-decked by another company in November of 2019. This summer (2021), we discovered that our roof had been leaking since it had been replaced due to no counter flashing being installed on the SW side of our roof. We became aware of it when the ceiling in our daughter’s bedroom closet FELL OUT due to water damage.) This company (who will remain nameless, but rhymes with Mr. Spoof) sent out an employee to repair the damage; this is how we found out about the missing counter flashing. Because we’d lost all confidence in the company, we decided to contact someone else who could evaluate the work that was done without and vested interest in the company.A family friend recommended we contact Moore & Sons, and we are so glad we did. Ed Moore himself came out to assess the work. In less tan 10 minutes, he discovered:1) There was also no counter flashing on the opposite side of our roof2) The “repair” that was done to the counter flashing on the SW side wasn’t repaired correctly, so the roof would continue to leak3) The flashing around our chimney had been caulked on, and will continue to peel away in hot weather (so we’ve also had water leaking around our chimney this entire time)4) Broken vent on the back of the roof5) Roof in the main area of leak was “soggy” underneath his feetEd was so kind, honest, and professional. He wouldn’t even let me pay him for his work, which shows me he cares more about doing quality work than he does about filling his pockets.Without his honest, unbiased assessment, we would have continued to be swindled by the original company. They clearly take zero pride in their work, unlike Moore and Sons.Do yourself a favor and contact Moore & Sons.

I am completely clueless when it comes to roofing. So in the beginning it was hard to find someone I felt was being straightforward with me. Thankfully we found Moore and Sons. They even showed up on time to give us a quote, the other guys did not.We had a new roof put on by Ed and his amazing crew and couldn't have been more happy. They are quick to respond to any of our questions, very nice, honest, have competitive prices, and do wonderful quality work in what seems like a short amount of time. I called Moore & Sons to have a quote done on a complete roof replacement on our house including a new skylight replacement. We had 3 different contractors come to do quotes and Moore & Sons were the best. Tony was our Sales Representative and he was nothing short of informative, professional and his communication was so very appreciated. I knew nothing about roofing as this is our first house and after our first consultation, I felt that we were in good hands and I knew more about what we were going to need to do. They just finished the roof yesterday and already the house looks a lot better. The crew and foreman who were onsite were very nice and they did a great job cleaning up after themselves every day. I tried to get an inspection and estimatef or a ceiling leak, I had an appointment setup but Dave never showed up, no phone calls for missing the appointment. I called and got the answering service which wasn't helpful at all. They are a nice, family owned business, and offered a good price compared to others. We are happy with the roofing job so far, but they did not do a good job of being professional. They left plastic and nails all around our yard. I find more plastic wrappers every time I mow, and they crushed several of our plants without ever telling us or doing anything to fix it. They just left the dead limbs sitting in our yard. They also moved a pot from our porch to access the roof, and never moved it back, killing the grass there.Service: Roof repair

They did an excellent job on repairing the section of our roof . Not only they fixed the roof, they went extra miles to replace the damaged board and install an gutter. What a great experience I had with Moore and Sons Roofing! We bought a home that needed the roof replaced and had looked a 3 different companies. Ed Moore was very prompt in returning our calls and thoroughly explained the process. We needed the roof job completed before we moved in and he worked with us to schedule the job accordingly. He also put up samples of 3 different shingle colors on the roof to help us decide. They got to the house and started early in the morning and stayed until it got dark. It took just about 1.5-2 days! So fast and you can tell how hard working all the men are. Our new neighbors were all so impressed with their efficiency and how wonderful the roof looks, 3 of them are getting their roofs replaced by Moore and Sons Roofing as well! We couldn't have had a better experience with such a big project. Replacing a roof isn't cheap so it is very important to find a quality company with a great reputation, who is also very easy to communicate with. We were deciding between Certainteed Landmark Pro and Owens Corning Duration and decided to go with the OC Duration. Not only did they have very competitive pricing, Ed Moore is a Master Roofer with Owens Corning, which proves their excellent skill level. I highly recommend Moore and Sons Roofing! Thank you.

Hired them to replace our roof. They removed a section of my fence to access the back yard and never put it back. That night my wife let our dogs out and they took off. Luckily I was able to get our dogs back. While cutting materials on the roof they cut into shingles and left it. They took their time fixing this issue. Now 8 months later and I'm still waiting to hear back from their on call person because my roof is leaking. I highly do not recommend using them. There are many other roofing companies in the area that could do a lot better I'm sure. April, 10, 2018 All issues were addressed and the roof is fine now. Due to the amount of time and how things were handled I still would not recommend. I should also add I received a phone call today from Ed Moore trying to tough talk me into removing my review as he went on to threaten legal action for leaving a bad review. My review is based on the experience as a whole. Very unpleasant and unprofessional. Though the work his company has done on my home has been corrected and is satisfactory my experience dealing with his company on the issues listed has been less than satisfactory by far.

Very organized and efficient. They worked from 7:00 AM until nearly 9:00 PM and finished the job in one day. They did a great job picking up after themselves too. They even came back a few days later to again sweep the yard for nails and pickup any leftover debris. The roof looks terrific.

My neighbor hired them and it has been an absolute nightmare. They parked in my driveway multiple times, blocked me in, and refused to move their vehicles when asked. They swore at me and refused to discuss the issue, trespassed multiple times, and have been ridiculously unprofessional. The only reason you should even consider hiring them is if you hate your neighbors, but keep in mind if this is how they treat complete strangers and potential future customers, I doubt they treat their clients very well.

In and out on the weekend and everything is perfectly beautiful. They worked around the flowers and bushes surprisingly well. Only small complaint is a few nails left on the driveway but I think I got them before my tires did.
