We hired Veenkamp to replace siding on our front dormers and three season room as well as adding siding to the 2nd story on the back of our home and the gable ends. This will drastically reduce the risk and time spent maintaining our log siding as we get older.We're super happy with the results! Jelly Bean and the Mongolian brothers did top notch work! They were courteous, efficient and professional.I would highly recommend Veenkamp Roofing and Siding to anyone looking to upgrade the home's exterior.

This review is for windows installation:Windows - 5/5Customer Care and Service 4/5Everything with Veenkamp started well with an in home consultation. But everything became rocky from there. Leading up to the install date, we were told to receive a call 3 days in advance to confirm. There was no call. Install date came, and no one showed up or conctacted us at all. This is after we had specifically scheduled this date and changed travel plans to accomodate. When were finally contacted, there was hardly any apology. 3+ weeks later the install starts with more issues. The install team didn't where covers on their shows and tracked in mud through the whole house. One of the windows was not installed level. One of the windows had different branding on it then the rest. The teamed plugged their contractor trailer into a standard 15 amp outlet while running at least 5 power tools off of it. They tripped the breaker ~10 times which meant constant interuptions while working from home. There was no final walk through and no information or paperwork around product details, warranty, etc. I reached out to schedule the final walkthrough, day was confirmed, and no one showed up or reached out. All in all a very poor showing from a company that seemed to have good reviews. I would not recommend.UPDATE- Team came back out and helped fix the level issue and the window branding will be taken care of. I still think the overall customer care could have been better but happy with the service now.

We had such a positive experience with Veenkamp from start to finish. After sustaining some siding damage from storms, Veenkamp promptly responded to our request for a quote for new siding. They worked well with our insurance to share estimates. They also provided quotes for some additional work, including new front porch posts. Once the job started, the crew was able to wrap everything up in only 4 days. Each day I received a call to ask how I thought everything was going. 5/5 stars. We will be going back to Veenkamp for any future work.

We are very grateful for the excellent quality and phenomenal customer service that Veenkamp provided throughout our whole house siding and minor roof repair. Whether it was Andrés the Project Manager and his colleague Tommy, Wade the Owner, or Mondo and his outstanding Mongolian crew - everyone was professional and great communicators before, during, and after the project. We continue to get compliments on the job they did with our home, and though Veenkamp may be on the slightly higher end of the companies we received estimates from, the quality is incredible and it was well worth it. Andrés ESPECIALLY reached out several times to ensure the product delivery was in alignment to we were agreed to in our contract throughout the whole process. My experience working with Veenkamp was great. They were very professional and easy to work with. They gave me a fast no-pressure quote to re-side/trim our detached garage to coordinate with our house's paint color/style. They were also able to get our project on their schedule faster than I expected and did a beautiful job. They even replaced the side door. Communication was great and I couldn't be happier.

We hired Veenkamp Roofing and Siding to work on a 120 year old home in Eastown part of Grand Rapids. The owner, Wade, came out to write the estimate. He gave us a great deal of useful information and did not use any pressure sales tactics. We had cheaper bids, but they left out important parts of the job. I'm super glad we picked Veenkamp. The work crew was polite and did a high quality job of installation on our new siding, Tommy and Andrew resolved any issues that came up and really cared that we were happy with the outcome. I'd hire this company again. Hiring contractors can leave you wondering. Veenkamp was honest and helpful throughout.

We had a roof leak and called veenkamp and Jelly Bean was assigned to our house. He was quick, efficient, extremely knowledgeable and nice. Sent pictures during the entire process and even recommended smaller minor fixes that would help our roof not leak going forward and minimal cost from the original quote. Had a roof installed two years ago. They did an awesome job unfortunately had a chimney fire on New Year’s Day. I had a company, replaced the chimney and called to see if they would check their work On the flashing they came out first thing Monday checked it out at no charge. Great company.:))

I wish I could give this company 10 stars! I worked with a few roofing companies to get quotes for our home. Venkamp had the most competitive price and showed professionalism and genuine customer service from the beginning. Now that the work is completed we couldn’t be MORE pleased. They did an amazing job!
