We called Bill at Oscoda Roofing because we had a water leak problem with our old stone chimney. Bill came right out and patiently explained that our problem was likely the lack of a roof “saddle ” to channel water coming down the roof when it rains so that it would go around the chimney. We had no idea that these were normal on newer buildings. (Our cabin is 70 years old.)A few days later Bill and his coworker came out and had the roof fixed over the weekend. This was not easy because of the uneven surface of the stone chimney. But Bill found creative ways to seal everything up (including a few cracks he found). He seems to really know what he is doing and we would highly recommend him.

I called around to several places and was placed on a long waiting list.
