I had some hail damage to my roof and siding. Steve Roberts at Suburban Exteriors, LLC was referred to me as a contractor. After the first phone call, I knew Steve was the guy I wanted to work with. Great communication, prompt responses to texts, calls and/or emails. After insurance adjuster gave the "OK" we picked shingles the next day and scheduled tear off and new roof for two weeks later. They showed up at 6:00 am and were done that night at 9:15 pm. My roof is a hip style and a 10/12 pitch, very complex. The crew worked very hard, were very polite, cleaned up everything very well. I did a walk around with Steve the next morning and paid the other half of the cost. I could not be more happy or more impressed.

I had hail damage from last years storms. Phillip Quinnan, the site manager, came right over and got the ball rolling. First of spring Suburban Exteriors crew showed up and in an 8 hour day replaced my roof. It was amazing how fast the crew replaced my roof. New plywood, snow and ice shield, drip edge etc. Very professional and super high quality materials. Id recommend them to anyone! Fabulous job Suburban Exteriors!!

I can't say enough about our positive experience with our rep Nate Switzer at Suburban Exteriors. He was professional, friendly, and walked us through the entire process working with our insurance company to get our roof replaced after Feb.'s storm. Geo's crew was efficient, and FAST! Those guys got our roof done in two partial days. They were happy and joking around with us -- a very positive experience when you have a huge crew of new people on your property. AND none of my flowers were squished. They were very careful and cognizant of our landscaping.

So far has not paid a sub contractor for work they finished back in early November….Very disappointing to have to write this, but their actions or, more importantly, their inactions have necessitated writing this.A business should have integrity and responsibility in working not only with their customers, but also their subcontractors. After getting a recommendation from a relative we contacted Suburban Exteriors to have our roof reshingled and repaired (not due to storm damage). We were impressed by the customer service we received from our contact, Tim Martin. He stopped by the same day we contacted the company for a quote. We were told that they normally do insurance-related claims but would be willing to do the work for us.If the weather would have cooperated we could have had our roof done that same week. Unfortunately, we had to wait for the weather to clear but it was worth the wait! The quality of work was exceptional and the teams of workers busted their butts to get the job done in less than two days, very impressive!!We highly recommend this AMAZING company! Highly recommended for any roofing needs!Update 4/2023: After the winter thaw, I have been dealing with leaks and defective shingles, both installed last year. I have made dozens of attempts to contact multiple team members at Suburban Exteriors ( Fred is no longer with the company) and have not received communication back. Did anyone that used suburban exteriors when we had that hail damage back in April of 2023 if so I would recommend you to really look over your siding are siding coming undone and we been trying to get them back out here to fix there mistakes but we get told from the owner witch his name is Luke that he will get a hold of site manager and I will get back with you with a date at first we get told this week he will be there no call no show its been this way since July 20th but to this day we get nothing but run around from Luke

Luke and his team approached our home with what was suggested as needing insurance repairs due to a hail storm that occurred in our neighborhood. To do the inspection they will make you sign paperwork without explaining its intent only to be told afterwards that any insurance money from the insurance company they are entitled to 20%. Lesson learned here myself, but please know this before engaging with them that you have the right to a roofer of your choice and you’ll learn more below on why you would want to.After completion of the insurance claim and subsequently a partial home remodel we decided to do simultaneously, his installers installed the shingles on a rainy day and also leveraged an on-site sky track without seeking permission from the homeowner and drove it right into our yard and edge of our driveway.After installation was completed, we were told only a final set number with no indication of an itemized invoice with constant texts claiming his crew needed to be paid and he holds a lien release form that will be executed upon if not paid and will be provided once paid. I had to engage my insurance company to have documentation of the services provided where there was numerous back and forth documented conversations of what was included as damaged to the insurance company but no explanation or invoice provided to the company. The insurance company also asked why siding was included as damages where I had to get confirmation directly from the owner that he did not try to submit this since it was not part of the original damages. He claimed you’ll receive an invoice with final insurance paperwork payment is made along with a lien on the home after the check cashes at the bank. I resulted in finally writing a check as I know the bank would process records of the services given the fear tactics of having a lien on the home.Once the cash cleared, absolutely NOTHING afterwards. Numerous texts and calls and no responses back.What I thought was a situation that we’d end up having a nice new roof on our home has only turned worse from there….Our insurance company did an external review (same company he contacted) and they have suggested many updates to be made on the home that require repair work from poor installation. After numerous emails and texts, got no responses.Finally got a response after I threatened legal process on him in which he would respond within two days on a day the work will get scheduled and repaired. Two days pass and no follow up from him even after many email , calls, and texts attempt. I am unfortunately going to have to move forward with an external review on the home to document the full suspected poor workmanship needed repairs and take it through the legal process .For all of you that are questioning how is his ratings high then? He gets in front of poor reviews by asking customers to write positive reviews and they will issue a discount on your final price.My intention is that this honest review will wake up the owner (Luke) to work genuinely with his customers especially when repairs are needed. I am happy to share any dialogues with anyone that would like to see the shadiness that this process entails as I expect some response stating something that completely did not happen. Unfortunately due to the his continued absence in this process I will have to go through legal process to get money back for the repairs that he claims is a “quick fix” and only “$100” to do and will do it quickly but yet never will follow up or call back.Please please please do not engage with company. Do your research and go with a trusted referral. This company is not the one you want your family to have put a “roof” over your head.

Tim Martin was referred to me from a co worker, and from the minute he showed up he took over everything, making sure our claim went through and the inspection was done to perfection. He even showed up on a Saturday to make sure we could pick our shingle color. His communication was amazing, and we never felt left in the dark at any point during this process. I worked with Jon to get my roof replaced through my insurance after we had water damage to one of rooms ceiling. Jon came out and identified there was wind damage to the roof that caused the water damage. He worked with me and my insurance to make sure it was fully covered and replaced. John Weigers from Suburban Exteriors knocked on our door last November and offered to do a free damage inspection of our roof. He indicated that Suburban Exteriors was repairing roofs in our neighborhood that had sustained damage due to a severe hailstorm last June. John concluded that our roof had sustained significant damage and could likely be covered by our insurance with us only having to pay the deductible. We signed up and expected to have the roof repair done the following spring. In March John left the company for another opportunity. It was during this time, that despite our repeated phone calls, we couldn't find out who was assigned to our roof repair. Fortunately, Tim Martin from Suburban Exteriors came to our rescue. He took over our roof repair and we are very happy with the end result. Tim is clearly a professional and is a joy to work with. He followed up and keep us informed regarding the timeline for our roof repair to be done. In fact, he got it done ahead of the time he had anticipated. We were out of state at the time when the repair was done. Tim took a lot of pictures and our place was left looking immaculate. Very poor workmanship and services provided. Shingles already plopping upwards and have tried multiple attempts to contact Luke with no returns. Also was never provided a final invoice breakdown of the services provided.Questionable business being ran and doesn’t appear to be BBB approved. I would suggest seeking a recommendation versus going through this company.

They then were able to work with our Homeowner's Insurance for us to get a new roof. There was a huge storm last summer that blew over a few trees and had some hail damage to our roof. Bruce and Steve from Suburban Exteriors were recommended by a neighbor to see if there was any damage. After their inspection and confirmation by our home owners insurance company, we were scheduled within the month to have a new roof installed.They came at 7am and were done by 8pm tearing off and replacing the entire roof! Very impressed with their expediency and professionalism. I was a bit suspect using a non local company I knew nothing about, but after the hail storm, they were the ones that told me there was likely damage and crawled on my roof to inspect. I do not think I ever would have known. They took all the needed pictures, filed the claim with my insurance company, negotiated with them so I had nothing to argue about or prove and had no out of pocket expense. Luke, the owner was responsive, answering every call in person in a timely manor. No robo operator to explain in robo terms. Understanding and willing to listen and deal with any issues. Highly recommend. I did in fact call local roofing contractors but either they did not call back, come when said or left undetailed estimate and I was never able to make contact with them again.
