Michigan remodeling replaced our roof. They had to tear off our old shingles and upon tearing it off they found rotted wood. They replaced all the rotted wood. They took pictures of what was wrong and sent them to me so I could see. They are very professional, respectful and honest. My roof looks amazing and we would suggest them to anyone who needs a roof done.

We are very happy with our new roof and skylights. Shane has high standards and he does treat the work like it was being done on his own house. The crew was hardworking and meticulous. They took care of replacing some broken siding as well, along with a few other jobs we needed done to go with the roof. Communication was excellent. Shane is one of the few contractors that I’ve met that really doesn’t try to talk you into anything, but looks to give the homeowner what they want. Great experience from the day Shane Miles came to talk about their services to the day he did the final walk through! He explained in detail what they do and what to expect. There was no pressure to sign with them. He very quickly and patiently responded to all my questions before the agreement and throughout the job. They did a great job on my roof. Had several quotes for a new roof and Shane was the only one who came out that wasn’t just a sales representative. This wasn’t an insurance job so having an accurate quote that wasn’t marked up for work to be done was important to us. He gave us an honest cost right from the start. No crazy high markup or asking for a review or a yard sign for a percentage off. He knew we would need boards replaced and included them in the total. Having someone who has actually done roofing with an honest price is what set them apart from the others. The guys did a great job from start to finish. Began my search for a new roof by getting three bids. Michigan Remodeling was the best choice. The owner (Steve) has many years as a contractor. Not only did he provide the best price he offered financing, best warranty (50 Years)and he was able the schedule me in quickly. His crew which includes two of his sons finished the job with-in three days working around frigid weather. The crew was very professional and the roof is top quality. I am extremely pleased with my new roof. I highly recommend this contractor.

Their workmanship is top notch and the men who perform the work are very nice and respectful your home. Shane was our contact person and he was wonderful. He gave us all our costs up front, no hidden fees, and no up-selling. Our experience with Michigan Remodeling was far beyond our expectations. They responded quickly to our needs of replacing our damaged roof that was leaking and repairing our ceiling that got damaged. The work was done in a timely fashion with the end results looking fantastic. The crew was there first thing in the morning ready to do a full days work and answer any questions we had. Shane was a real professional, an all around good guy. Out of all companies and individual's who came out to look at my roof and give me estimates; he was by far the most knowledgeable and the most out going. Shane was the only contractor who inspected my ridge vent and showed/explained to me what was going on with my roof. He was not a sales man, he did not push or give me any type of sales pitch. Shane was truly a tradesman, as was his employees that installed the roof. Dan the foreman and his crew rocked my roof out. They were very respectful, hard working and well mannered. They took the time to cover up all my deck, shrubs and plants. Overall, I am very pleased with this company and would/have referred Michigan Remodeling to others. Received a very competitive quote; was exactly what I "expected" to pay for my job. No big markups like I saw with others who bid on my job. Steve explained everything clearly and offered multiple options on the quote to customize how I saw fit. Materials used were high quality. The installation crew worked efficiently and respectfully. The yard and workspace were left in a very clean condition at the end of each work day. I was consulted on items that were unique to my job so I understood what was happening and why. Steve was knowledgeable, fair, friendly and did exactly what he said he would do. He was also easy to reach when I had questions. Highly recommend!

We recently had our roof replaced by Michigan remodeling, March 2021. The Co-owner Shane Miles was extremely responsive, friendly, professional and honest and gave us very fair pricing. We had two other quotes before speaking with him and he came in much lower for similar services and products with a better workmanship warranty. He also knows his stuff and helped clear up misinformation we received from others. The job also included replacing gutter screens. Shane went above and beyond to inspect after the job was competed and tie up loose ends. The guys were careful to protect our property and clean up the materials but some misc debris was missed and Shane walked around himself to pick up straggling little pieces. OMG!!!!! They were fantastic!!!!!! Price was very fair!! Service was unbelievable!!!! Shane spent almost two hours reviewing the roof and attic area, explaining what was needed and what should be done. Every decision was mine, there was no pressure trying to sell me something more than what I needed.We had several rain delays, but he always kept in contact with me, letting me know when I could expect them.The crew was very polite and professional!! The clean up was AMAZING!!!! I found one piece of shingle about the size of an index card....that was it!!!!!! Everything was cleaned up everyday!!!I would highly recommend Michigan Remodeling!!! My next project will be new windows and I have no doubt who I will be calling.

Steve is a great business owner. Very detailed oriented, very explanatory and appears to love what he does. The crew was professional, no smoking, loud music, bad language, etc. They work the roof in sections so that you don't have to have the dreaded blue tarp on and off your roof. Quality takes time and it was not done overnight, but the couple days it did take was worth it. Six nails per shingle, straight shingle lines, my claims adjustor said it was extremely quality work when they reviewed it prior to paying out my claim.
