Century did sidewalk for the city of detroit… the Forman/ manger and operators are a pos… drove over flower beds… tear out damage driveway approach… they only sprinkle sealant on sidewalk.. just a horrible job from the start… workers are super nice but when manager shows up they work all crazy throwing things like headless chickens

This company is very rude and unprofessional. I came outside my house to go to work they had me and my mom blocked in and would not move their things which were so close to my moms car she couldn’t go anywhere. When I asked the woman and her partner could we get out they were very nasty and blew me and my mom off they just looked at us . They had us blocked in for like 25 mins which made me late for work. When we asked again they then told us to “take it up with the city” and the lady called my mom ignorant for asking them to move so of course there was a argument, the female worker walked towards my mom with some type of tool like she was gonna hit her. Not to mention they left their Gatorade bottles and trash in the hole they dug and never finished on the side walk. When we called to complain the manager was very rude would not listen to us and would not give us the name of the worker so we could file a police report. They also fixed all the side walks but the one in front of our house. VERY RUDE DO NOT USE THEM!

I have owned two different properties in two different cities where the city hired CCC to do repairs with multiple problems with the completed work at both. The most recent one was to replace sidewalk slabs to prevent trip hazards. They cut out an additional piece of my (not city property) without even asking me and were attempting to leave a half inch gap between the rest of my cement and what they were about to pour because when they cut my cement, they left a half inch lip on the cement. I went outside and asked about it but no one on the crew spoke much English. The guy pulled out the expansion joint and cut it in half so that it would look right but now it can't do it's job because halfway down it's cement to cement. Water will freeze and push it up. Crooked forms. The ground between the forms wasn't graded properly 4 inches at the forms with a big hump like a buried body in the middle at best by someone who doesn't know what they are doing, at worst someone cheating on labor and cement. Seeded very aggressive weed seeds. They also ended up leaving a trip hazard which is what they were supposedly mitigating.

DO NOT use this company employees are RUDE and have no CUSTOMER SERVICE skills and if you complain don’t worry PRESIDENT Allan Pighin also known as AJ will just go off on you and ignore you and lie and side with their 30 employees.
