They did a phenomenal job! Greg came out very quickly to give the quote and the crew was here within the week. They finished in a day and a half. Very happy with them and would highly recommend!!!

Contracted with them to level, sod front yard. Specific requests for planting area & stone area in front of house. Leveled & sod done, stone done, planted area was not done to requests. Total bill was +$6800, of which $4500 was line itemed as labor. I paid the bill but did send a note along regarding the excessive labor costs. Greg, whom was referenced to me as a gifted designer, contacted me and qualified the costs as in office discussions to design my 20 feet of 7 bedded plants with a simple 3 inch, slate type divider. This company has ridiculous, excessive labor costs with incredibly inflated opinions of their finished product. I am very unsatisfied with these folks & would not recommend dealing with them for anything, especially Greg . He lacks people skills & finesse, talks down to women, a bit of a know it all & bully. He is detrimental to this small company; his one sided approach to customer service & complete delusion of his abilities will continue to compromise McGregor's. DO NOT ENGAGE THIS COMPANY... You will be very disappointed .Mark was great, as was Jake, Colin and Brian. Feel free to contact me for a view of their finished product on Vinewood in Wyandotte. McGregor's is better than ever. Very reasonable. Timely, professional, friendly, hardworking crew. I got estimates from other landscapers and have used others in the past, but now it's going to be McGregor's for me. Dealing with Joe and Greg made everything go smoothly. Spending the money wasn't the issue, being satisfied is. And we're VERY SATISFIED! Had McGregor regrade and sod our backyard last summer. The crew was great and very nice. Greg was very professional and gave us some options for specific concerns.However, some of the sod was brown from the start and we had concerns. We followed the watering guide provided for new sod and 50% of the sod was dead and brown by the end of summer. Especially along the entire perimeter of the yard where our fence line sits. Despite watering 2-3 times per day, based on temperature and sunlight, at the end of summer there were areas of sod that I could pull up in long sections because the roots never took hold and subsequently died. Needless to say, we were pretty disappointed considering the price we paid. Now, during the winter we're seeing that the grading didn't improve the standing water in our yard. We are still getting massive areas of standing water during the recent ice thaw and rain. Again, massively disappointed after what we spent less than a year ago.Services: Pool landscaping, Yard grading, Sod installation

These guys laid sod for me last November. I had some concerns since it was so late in the season and cold already. Greg said give them a call in the spring if it did not grow in well in the spring. I still had some concerns when spring came. Greg came right out and addressed my concerns immediately even though they are swamped with new work this year.These guys do what they say, professional, great work....Service: Sod installation

They came out and planted my baby blue spruce.. very caring about planting it..make sure you tell them before about lawn sprinkler system..had someone else take a diseased pine..didn't grind it down enough..this company had to grind it more and take out some more roots..good to learn all the in's and out's of tree removal & replanting before.Learned a lot..but this company did and said what it would do..$330.00 to do the job..they said they would come back to through some grass seed on the ground that was dug up..haven't seen that yet..I would use them again for my landscaping needs..
