I really hate to write this review, considering Jim and I were friends. I contracted WRS to install gutter guards back in January. Work was done quick and correctly. I thought it was a job well done, but that is when the nightmare began.It turns out WRS subcontracted Alloy Gutters out of Taylor, MI. Another 1 star company. Jim never paid the subcontractor and said subcontractor has liened my home. All phone numbers have been disconnected and no one from WRS has called me back. I now must spend more money in attorney fees and spend more time chasing WRS to settle this lien.If Jim will do this to a friend, how will he treat someone he doesn't know?

I really didn't want to do this either. But I paid a deposit as well to only get up on my roof to fix it myself!! First few texts and weeks I did get replies but the run around, then fb messages and texts went unanswered. Finally a month after I paid the deposit and multiple heavy rain storms I patched up the areas myself. I take a picture of the areas and share on FB and send a message to Jim saying that never mind fixing my roof it's done and I want my deposit back. I get a reply, "sorry bud, I will be there tomorrow to get it patched up". Umm no I want my money back. Now like other reviews, phones disconnected, personal and business Facebook deactivated.I put my trust in him because I thought I knew him. Well I was wrong! I really learned a lesson on this, never hire a friend or someone you think is a friend to do any work for you! I would've felt better just throwing that money out the window of a speeding car then to get screwed over and taken advantage of like this!
