I had my roof cleaned in early fall, over the winter there were a few spots David was not happy about when he drove by so he contacted me again and set up a time to come by and re-clean those spots to his standards. I am very happy with the work he has done, my roof looks as good as the day it was installed. My neighbors have even stopped by to comment on the roof and how nice it looks. I was impressed at how particular the owner of Mitten Exteriors is about his work. I would highly recommend Mitten Exteriors. He is quick to respond to phone calls, arrives on time and is respectful of your property (pants and other yard things) Please give him a call.

David Grear and his crew at Mitten Exteriors, installed a standing seam, 16-inch, high grade, metal roof on our house in late 2020. Dave is a small business owner of Mitten Exteriors. Dave, and his small company, do metal roof installation along with roof cleaning, sometimes as a subcontractor for the larger companies. Before you contract with the other companies, who advertise about installing a new metal roof, call Dave. As a subcontractor, he installed my roof with one of his employees using Dedra metal roof. Very professional installation as it’s been 2 years and no leaks including around the skylight that the other companies wanted to remove. They removed the old roof, disposed of the old material, put down new insulation then screwed down the new metal roof. Our house is warmer and has minimal icicles development. I had Dave do our shed , as the primary contractor, to match the house and the results are just as great. Dave also does roof cleaning, so if you don’t want to replace now, have him come a clean your roof. Please give this company a chance before you contract with anyone else, you will not be disappointed.Service: Roof installation

Dave and Mitten Exterior did a great job on our roof and was easy to work with. Dave went outside the normal expectations to get the roof type we wanted. Mitten Roofing replaced two roofs: one a 45 year old asphalt roof with a new granular- coated steel roof, and the second a 15 year-old asphalt roof that had been installed incorrectly and leaked.The new steel roof had to be installed around a 100 year old chimney, and they installed a phenomenal flashing design to work with the steel roofing that is (4 years in) leak-proof.They did the jobs on schedule, for the price quoted, and cleaned up everything removed. They came onto the job on time, and every day. We had 3 quotes, and Mitten offered the best long-term value, with several options, for our requirements.Mitten also low-pressure washed several other roofs for us, removing very heavy moss growths from roofs over 20 years old. These roofs now look to be good for another 10-15 years. The washing saved us a great deal of money to replace, and brightened the appearance of the roofs.Service: Roof installation
