Mike is very knowledgeable and professional kept us apprised of the project at every turn.Our cottage roof was caving in and under built. Our project was extensive roof trusses, new roof, siding, windows. Many surprises that Mike was on top of and didn’t pice gouge us. Project started end of January and they’re almost done February 2024. I appreciate all of the work being done and the workers, working in the snow to finish our cottage. It’s a brand new place.

Mike a crew do great work. It's clear that they care about the quality and the details. They're experts in their craft, and easy and friendly to work with. They've build a full decking system on my high riverbank property. They have replaced soffits and fascia, as well as metal roof repair. And they fixed / flashed multiple doors and windows. They'll be my first phone call for any future home construction and remodel projects.

Highly recommend without hesitation. We have used their services more than once because we were very pleased with their work. We had a tree limb that went through the roof of our metal pole barn. They responded within 24 hours of our initial call. Repair was done FAST, efficiently and at a very reasonable cost. They also cut the rest of the dead tree so it wouldn't happen again. I live 120 miles south of the roof repair location. I am always worried about hiring someone without meeting them. I took a chance on this company and Mike addressed my concerns immediately and walked me through the process over the phone. He was very knowledgeable and sent me photos every step of the way. I cannot talk about the quality of their work, but I can say that they have not been responsive. After months of chasing them looking for a quote for my log home I finally gave up today. They were referred by another contractor who is now embarrassed that he sent me their way. My advice: If you are too busy or not interested let the potential client know so that they can move on. Poor way to do business.

After receiving a quote for metal roofing and accessories they charged extremely much much more when materials had arrived, not to mention their sloppy book keeping, this company says they are honest and straightforward, however truthfully they are liars and crooks looking for their next victim. I want all homeowners and contractors to BEWARE, I had to pay in advance for my roofing,luckily I got all my supplies and will never ever do business or recommend this rip off company, buyers beware...once this review posted I received a call from owner who talked vulgar and obscene, filthy mouthed person I can only pray for. He had every opportunity to do the right thing but chose not to, sad for the town he represents.

The crew from Northern Michigan Metal Roofing installed new roofs on our home and garage this past week. My husband and I cannot say enough about the quality of the workmanship or the work ethic demonstrated by this team of workers. They removed the previous roof and obsolete chimney, trimmed limbs from an overhanging oak tree, removed an antenna tower, and cleared away all the debris. They are exceptional and we recommend Mark Severance and his crew highly.

Very unprofessional. Contract asks for a deposit and the rest on completion. Didn’t share that there was mistake in ordering needed materials and tried to bully the rest out of me even when the job was not complete. Owner hung up on me like a teenager which I found hilariously unprofessional and a show of character. I’d never recommend the use of this company.
