They took the time to thoroughly inspect my roof, patiently answered all of my questions, and provided valuable insights into the best course of action for my home. Please do your due diligence before hiring this company. Since people often use reviews to make decisions about companies, I feel obligated to share my experience with Advocate Construction so that others may not have the same experience as me. I’m glad that some people have had positive experiences with Advocate Construction and their team, but that was not the case in our situation. I wonder if some of the positive reviews would feel the same way after their roof has been in place for a few years. Once Advocate installed our roof, we immediately knew there were issues. Many areas of the roof didn’t look right and the workmanship was not good, to say the least. Additionally, there was thousands of dollars of damage to our property. After the roof installation, Advocate came out to our property numerous times to document and address issues. It seemed as though their team pushed back on almost every issue, saying that it “functioned just fine”. The valleys that were installed backwards, “functioned just fine”. The drip edge that was bowing away from the house, “functioned just fine”. Our composite deck that was scraped up and completely ruined, “functioned just fine”. The gutters that were scraped up and dented, “functioned just fine”. The list goes on. Even when Advocate would finally agree to address an issue, they would end up causing additional damage to the property and the work was done so poorly that it would need to be fixed again. Since there were so many issues with the roof and the quality of their work, we were concerned that the roof was not installed properly, so we hired an independent inspector to provide a full report. Based on the report, many areas of the roof were not installed to code or the manufacturers recommendations. Additionally, there have been other issues discovered after the initial inspection. At this point, the only repair is to completely remove the roof and start over. It is concerning that after more than seven months, we are no closer to a completed roof or our property being returned to it’s original state. On Advocate’s website, it states that Advocate Construction values integrity, individual responsibility, and quality. I have not found any of these values to apply in my situation and I’m wondering how many other people in the area are having similar issues with Advocate. I feel very taken advantage of and that is not right. Advocate Construction needs to step up and take responsibility for their work. That means addressing the issues with my roof, as well as the damage that was done to my property. You would think that an inspection report from an independent certified inspector and clear damage to my property that was not present before the roof install would be enough evidence. It’s easy to take credit when everything goes right with a job. A company that truly has integrity is willing to take responsibility when things don’t go right. I hope that this review causes anyone that reads it to pause and thoroughly evaluate whether Advocate Construction is the right company for them.

Mario Mance was assigned to our project, and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Mario provided clear instructions and explanations about the process and acted on our behalf with the insurance company and inspector. Once everything was in order, and we had decent weather, they replaced our roof in one day! Appreciated the follow-up from their Construction Manager the next day who came to review the completed project and to check around the house with a magnetic sweeper for nails, and to leave the grounds as clean as possible. Overall, our experience was very professional, and we would highly recommend this company. Many thanks to Advocate Construction!

I have been waiting for several months to get the siding done. Very slow responsiveness. It seems like they don’t have interest on getting it done although they took care of the roof very quickly.Update as of Nov 2023. They finally took care of the siding, but I am including pictures so people can see the poor quality of the work. Also, they installed cheap plastic siding but charge me for high price aluminum siding just because my insurance had approve aluminum. I tried to fight this, but of course the contract is sketchy and works in their favor, it would have been more expensive for me to go to court. Beware of this company, I do not recommend working with them.

I was very satisfied with the level of service provided by Mario at Advocate Construction as well as the new roof I received. They were all fantastic from beginning to end. I feel Mario and Advocate Construction are trustworthy and dedicated to providing quality service and products. The roofing crew arrived on time and completed the job in one day. The finished result is stunning, and the high quality is evident. I wholeheartedly recommend Mario at Advocate Construction to help you get a new roof!

Had my roof done by these guys, worst roofing job ever. This does not even deserve one star. Shingles are sticking up, buckled, flashing is not flush, nails left on the roof, in the gutters. Poor install & old shingles. Joke of a company.

A tree fell on our roof and damaged a portion of it. All I had to do was contact my insurance company and Advocate Construction handled everything from there to get the damage repaired and now we have a whole new roof. Michael Reyes was my contact at Advocate Construction. He was a pleasure to work with and did a wonderful job keeping me informed from start to finish.

Mike Reyes said he could get me a new roof and that is EXACTLY what he did and more he was able to get extra money from my insurance to fix the interior under my skylights. Mike’s customer service is impeccable!!! I would definitely recommend them!!

Just had Advocate Construction do our roof and they did a very nice job and completed the job almost all in one day. There were some minor finishes to do and they handled it the next day right away. The roofers (12 guys) were very friendly and went about their business in a very professional manner. I can't say enough about how friendly and helpful Mario was with this process. He truly showed he cared and was there every step of the way. He even called when he was out of the country on a personnel matter to keep me informed. He made the process easy in the nicest and friendliest manner. I would recommend using this company and hope you are lucky enough to get Mario as your representative.

A couple weeks after they finished work, one of the gutter pipes fell down which was good for me to find out that they didn't install some shingles professionally and there was damaged wood that they didn't fix them or report that to me. It has been over a month since I contacted them and nobody called me back.Update: the company contacted me right after the review. They offered to repair the damage and cover the cost. I appreciate that. I hope that was happened before I had to write the review. I updated the original review as a result of that.

They replaced our roof with quality shingles/materials and completed the entire replacement in one day. It’s been two months and I only found one roof nail so far. I'm a renter, and this is regarding a roofing repair, that was just completed. I don't know the protocol in a situation where the owner does not occupy the home, but advocate dropped the ball from a communication standpoint.They showed up at our door saying roofing supplies were to be dropped off done in two days, and roofing work would be in four days. I had to call a couple times and call the home owner a couple times as well, as that timeframe did not work with us. Also, I have a dumpster in my small driveway, from a different company. According to the company, advocate did not call and ask for the dumpster to be removed in time, it couple have been hauled away the next day if Advocate would have called. Now my wife and I have to adjust our parking arrangements and plans to entertain a couple a guest because a dumpster is stuck in my driveway, and our neighbors utilize their curb parking daily. I would suggest some training in regards to rental property and have to conduct business when the owner does not live in the home. Two days ahead of time is not enough of a heads up. Extremely inconvenient.

We worked with Frank Gill and Brittany Harris and they did a very nice job explaining the whole process of the project and checking on everything to make sure we are happy with our new roof. Highly recommend the company for a roof replacement project!
