Our roof was leaking and we needed to get it replaced. I got quotes from several local roofing companies. Green Homes Roofing and Solar was the only Company who came to the house when I was here to do the inspection. Rico then came back to my home to review the findings and discuss our options. He provided written documents as well as emailed me several pdfs. I was really impressed with him and his honesty. We chose their company and could not be more pleased with the result. They provided pictures of the work through the process. The team that replaced the roof were great to work with and very courteous. I highly recommend getting a quote from this company they deliver a quality product.

We had a big list of things needed to get our house in good condition when it came to the roof. Full roof replacement, skylight replacement, and attic insulation installation. We had zero insulation up there so were losing a lot of heat and getting ice dams. Very satisfied with the entire experience! They were so responsive even when I needed to push installation out because of a work trip. The cleanup was thorough, the work is excellent quality, and they did all that in 2 days. Met with Rico during the inspection, he took photos of the existing roof, explained the products that they use and each step of the roof replacement, and left me with three written options for review, after receiving a couple of additional quotes, we decided to go with Green Homes Roofing and Solar, the price was fair they did a great job, and cleaned up all around the house when they finished, for me after researching the the difference in shingles offered by other companies I felt that Green Homes was using a better product.Would recommend them to friends, and family.Service: Roof installation

Great to work with on getting a quote. I ultimately decided to wait on getting solar panels for a later project so I didn't end up moving forward, but Rico was very responsive and was able to provide a quote quickly. Sometimes contractors really give you a whole 3hr (no joking) pitch about the company when you really just need the price to know if it is going to make sense. Appreciate they got right to the root of my needs and gave the information I needed along the way. Would recommend.

Winston and sons installed my roof last year, but I think they’ve changed their name to Green Homes Roofing & Solar. Both Anthony and Winston were incredibly kind and professional. I was pleased with the quality of the work and how fast the roof was installed: they installed it over two days.I did have a leak in part of my roof that overhangs our porch, but Winston came to inspect and determined that it was an issue during installation and they fixed the issue without any additional costs.I would recommend Green Homes Roofing & Solar to anyone looking for a quality roof installation!Services: Skylight repair, Roof installation

We had Rico come to inspect our roof and offer solutions as we were having a leaking issue. He quoted us in a very confusion manner stating one price via voicemail mail and sent my wife an invoice with a completely different price. He said he would call us back to schedule. I recently had storm damage. A big oak tree hit the house and damaged a back wall and roof. I have had a couple companies come out and give me a quote. I ended up going with Winston & Sons Home Improvement. I saw they had great reviews. They still exceeded my expectations. Once they got on the job they worked very fast but did excellent work. They also sent me drone pictures after each day they finished. I felt bad because I had to have the come out during the winter. They still knocked it out and did a great job. This is a first for me. Normally I don't write reviews; however Winston & Sons is such an outstanding company that I want to share that information with anyone looking for an excellent professional roofing company to replace their roof. Look no further! Anthony explained the process of installing CertainTeed shingles with us and e-mailed a quote to us. He dropped off samples of the various colors and types of shingles available. When we decided the color we wanted, he explained the different grades and how they were installed and we chose Northgate Weathered Wood, a high definition shingle. And it is stunning. Winston was at the house every day directing and working with the hardworking, honest crew. They cleaned up every night and arrived bright and early the next day. They were caring and polite to our neighbors and in short, if you need a roof, call 586-262-6101. The price was reasonable; the result was amazing. Two neighbors called me within an hour of their finishing the job to say the house looked incredible! So, thank you, Winston & Sons! You are the best!

(Short statement)Green Homes Roofing & Solar is a solid and professional family owned business who have gone above and beyond to make certain we were happy with our complete roof replacement.(Longer explanation)Rico and Anthony of GHR&S took the time needed to fully understand our roofing situation. They offered solutions and answered questions patiently. They spent more time than any other company that I asked to estimate the job. They are certainly not the cheapest. Luckily, Brandon in the office, helped figure out a solution that better fit my budget. So I hired them.Winston and the GJR&S team did a complete tear-off of my old commercial torch-down roof, yes you read that correctly, our home had a commercial roof. It was old and it has leaked in the past. They replaced all the plywood, laid a new roof using ice shield over the whole surface (due to the low pitch) and used a combination of shingles and roofing membrane for the areas where the pitch is below 2/12. Ventilation in that part of the roof wasn't working correctly, so they came up with a solution in the process.One of the value added things they provided was to take drone photos of the entire job process to keep us informed. Also, the warranty is a combination based on materials (the manufacturer) and workmanship (GHRS) that I hope I don't ever need to use, but I'm glad they provide.Unfortunately, during the installation, we noticed several nail pops on our living room and kitchen ceiling. It's an older house. This is where I believe they went above and beyond. GHR&S brought in a professional painter to repair all the nail pops and repaint the entire ceiling, at their expense.They also followed up making sure we were all good, and they sent a thank you gift in appreciation.If you're having a hard time deciding who to use for your roof or siding or solar or what-not. Go with a company that takes the time to understand your needs. Go with a company that can solve the construction problems that inevitably show up. Go with a company that rely's on your satisfaction.
