Grace came to perform an initial evaluation of our door and window replacement needs in late December 2023. Living on the windward side of a lake we get a lot of sideways rain and water always finds a way in. The scheduling and communication leading up to the initial walkthrough was terrific. On the day, Grace arrived within five minutes of the appointment time despite a 1+ hour drive. Grace was knowledgeable and professional throughout the entire visit. I can honestly say that, before the meeting, I thought all doors were about the same. After the meeting I could not imagine purchasing any other product for our specific needs. We wanted to keep water out (with a guarantee), and we happily gave Midwest Exteriors LLC our business. Thank you Grace!

I had a great experience working with the Midwest Exteriors team. I had filed an insurance claim to have my roof repaired after shingles had started to lift and separate causing a leak. Turned into a roof replacement. Jack came out to give us a quote. He was super friendly and enlightened us with his knowledge of shingles and different qualities in the market. Even though our insurance wasn’t going to cover the entire cost, I felt confident that we were getting a top quality product at a great price and was worth the extra out of pocket costs. Their associate Jeff Lindsey even went an extra mile to get my insurance to cover a bit more of the bill, by dealing with my insurance adjuster for me. When the roof was installed, we were amazed at how quickly the crew worked. They were organized, efficient, made sure to cover and protect garden, patio, windows, and property. We hired Midwest to install a patio door to replace two small windows and to replace the siding and the roof. To be honest with the three jobs there were definitely some bumps in the road and some errors. Some were minor but not all. So you may be wondering why on earth am I giving them 5 stars??? Well I’ve had enough projects done to know that stuff happens on almost every job.We are dealing with human beings after all. The difference is in how your contractor handles the mistakes when they happen. This company stepped up and owned it! I didn't have to get mad, or yell, or stomp my feet ever. I called them and sent photos, that was it. From there on Jeff took care of it. He did it with grace, dignity, and the utmost professionalism. He never once tried to make excuses. He said “We’re going to make this right” and he kept his word. The end result is beautiful. Not only do they do good work, they have integrity. Tyler was so helpful with explaining the different options for windows that would work best for us. We received updates every two weeks on the progress of our order and arrival of our windows. We scheduled a date in January for the installation of the windows and Juan's team arrived bright and early. They were so efficient in installing the windows that they were done by early afternoon. We are very pleased with the quality and beauty of our new windows. We did not realize how much cold air was leaking into our house until our new windows were installed. We highly recommend Midwest Exteriors for their professionalism and the attention to detail in their workmanship.

Our experience was great before and after installation of our exterior door. When we had a quote done, they were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They spent a lot of time with us answering questions and trying to get us the best deal they could. The team that came to install was fast and did an excellent job. We had our roof done last summer. After calling every local company in the Harbor Springs area and not getting calls back we started researching companies. We came across Midwest. Within 2 days of calling them they were here giving us a quote, a month later we had a new roof. It took them 2 days to install and clean up. Super friendly.

Our experience has been amazing with this company. The sales team has been amazing and no pressure. The install team was fast and great. My only issue is the lack of attention to detail (could be just my ocd self) plastic was left on the hinges, my locks are all on backwards - and operate that way. We had some issues with our slider but it was handled very quickly and fixed. I will gladly use midwest again when we are ready for a metal roof and windows.

We had Midwest exteriors come out and do an estimate for windows, a sliding door, and a front door. They sent Grace who is very friendly and knowledgeable. She didn’t mind our 100+ lbs dog and was patient as we also were caring for our 2 month old. After looking at and measuring the different projects she gave us a very thorough presentation, that included a slideshow, heat lamp, a variety of tools , and physical samples of windows and doors. She was here for 4 hours walking us through options and steps of the project. She was very professional and honest. We look forward to continuing working with Midwest.

My wife and I noticed a leak coming through onto the interior of our home. Midwest Exteriors LLC was called and they sent out Justin to take a look and see what we were dealing with. Justin was thorough explaining that our roof had a lack of quality when the home was built. Justin then went over options with roofing materials for us, he was extremely detailed in explaining how shingles have became lesser in quality since the 1980’s. He even had this enormous bag to compare a shingle slab from 1980 to compare to a shingle slab to current day.Our product was delivered on 11/6/23 and I believe the project will be completed by 11/8/23. It will probably be completed sooner. I have had contact with one of the founders of Midwest Exteriors LLC, Jeff Lindsey, he is very transparent and an honest person which makes his business an honest business. Jeff is willing to fight for his customers if insurance companies want to cause issues.Midwest Exteriors LLC keeps in contact with its customers every few weeks when waiting for supplies and when the project is waiting to be started. Communication is great, Justin always returns phone calls or text messages, Jeff is available at any hour.I would recommend anyone that needs roofing, siding, or windows that need replaced to come to Midwest Exteriors LLC. Midwest Exteriors came out and gave me a free quote on a roof. During that time we sat down and went over the specs of asphalt and metal roofing. Decided to stick with asphalt. The sales team was very knowledgeable and was very helping when answering any questions that I had. The team over at Midwest kept me up to date on what was going on with my project and answered any and all questions that I had. Once we got a date for install the weather was very uncooperative and Midwest was on top of keeping me up to date with what was going on. Day of install the guys that put the roof on did an amazing job even with not so great weather and had it all done in one day. I honestly can say this was one of the best experiences I had with a construction company and highly recommend them for their services. The staff was always friendly and knowledgeable and helped me from start to finish.

I will be leaving another review after installation of the gutter, and then again after installation of the windows. Met with representative Grace Goddard on August 14th for a presentation and quote for replacement windows for our cottage in Waters, MI. Great presentation of an obviously quality product. Grace did an excellent job of pointing out the superior nature of their widow products both as to technical design and practical value as well as exceptional warranty. We learned a great deal about replacement windows and were really impressed. Obviously a quality company with quality products.

We have been so happy with our experience with Midwest Exteriors so far. We set up an appointment to get information and quotes for siding replacement and a new front door in November. Both Jack and Paige were friendly and very knowledgeable about their products and installation process. They were also able to answer all of our questions.Our siding came in a lot sooner than expected, and they were able to start installation right away. The installation went smoothly, and Jake, the project manager, was communicative and responsive throughout the whole process. I went with Midwest Exteriors because of their Google reviews, I was not disappointed. Jeff did a complete inspection of my roof from on the roof and inside the attic. He explained our options and pricing. The price he quoted as not cheap, but I wanted quality and longivity over lowest price. It took about 10 weeks before the work was scheduled, but the wait was worth it. We have a beautiful roof that will last a long time. They did a good job of communication prior to and during the installation of the roof. They did an excellent job of protecting our flower garden and clean up.
