Mike Condon is one of those rare finds you want to keep all to yourself. He is a skilled craftsman and a perfectionist, who likes to handle historic home restoration jobs others don't dare to touch. His workmanship is impeccable and his prices are astonishingly modest, given his skills. His only drawback is that he is booked 6 months to a year in advance! I am currently looking to have my brick chimney repaired, from a the home I recently purchased. The person hired to do my home inspection informed me that I would need to get the chimney repaired sooner, rather than later, to prevent further damage. After miked looked at the pictures and inspection report, he gave me some really helpful information and told me if its leaking it needs to be fixed this year, but if not, it should be fine until next year. He would not be able to most likely work on it for me until next year, because he is pretty booked up for the rest of the year. I will continue getting quotes from others, however, knowing that the chimney won't fall apart this winter makes me feel a lot better, in case I do need to wait. I appreciate his honesty, and letting me know if I want it done next year he could probably do it, but if its leaking he thinks I should look elsewhere. Honesty is key! And he gave me useful information. Give him a call or shoot him an email if you need contractor for your project. Very friendly and fast response to the email I sent yesterday :-)
