I’m an older woman and leaving reviews is not something I do but with all the scams and negative things going on in the world, I felt I needed to share something positive about this company…Quality Counts Construction recently replaced my hail damaged roof and of course all the other repairs that go along with it. Joe made this process seamless. He went above and beyond anything I could have asked for. The integrity of this company is rare to find. I can not recommend them any higher. I’m so thankful to have found an honest company.

I lost my home to a fire and hired Joe Lindell, owner of Quality Counts Construction, LLC to be my general contractor. He requested the full amount of my insurance money upfront, that was a flag I should have paid attention to. At the start of the project he went out of the country on a vacation, which he did not inform me about until after the contract was signed. He decided his other job (fishing in Alaska)was more important than my project and took off for months, leaving his fill-in to handle things for him. He never disclosed to me he would be leaving during the project to go to Alaska before I signed the contract. He also never told me when he would return. The few times I reached out to the fill-in, he was out of state. I signed the contract believing he was going to be my carpenter, not subs and an apprentice. The list is long of issues, that as my general contractor he should have handled- bursting water pipes (didn't drain water), broken softener, no snow removal contracted, supplemental heat not prearranged, incomplete bids, overflowing and undersized dumpsters, broken skylight, questionable trim work quality, these are just a few examples. His paperwork was atrocious. I ended up chasing down lien waivers myself. He didn't produce itemized receipts when requested and I also caught him billing me for an inaccurate permit cost. When he returned from Alaska, he sent me a bill for final payment. When I said we needed to talk about that, he got defensive and said he was withholding my final inspection until I produced a spreadsheet telling him how much I was going to pay him. He NEVER once took responsibility for anything I was unhappy with, only excuses and letting me know how I was wrong. The fire and being displaced for over a year were difficult, but the amount of mental anguish QCC put my family through was unmeasurable.Services: General construction, Exterior structural repairs, Roof repair, Exterior finishing, Roof installation, Home construction

Joe has done multiple jobs for us from custom cabinetry, locker system for our mudroom, custom closet organizer and a new roof. All have been done professionally and with good spirits. Great carpenter but more important great person. Highly recommend.
