We used Construction Con Dios, LLC for a deck replacement. Ben is very knowledgeable, detail oriented and professional. We wanted to keep our existing brick patio in which the deck stairs go between. It was a tricky fit but Ben came up with ideas and solutions to do so and it turned out great! Ben is a great communicator and kept us constantly informed during the whole process. Nikko, Dalton and Dave are part of Bens crew who completed our deck. They were hard working, showed up on time and did an amazing job. We would HIGHLY recommend Construction Con Dios, LLC. Ben went above and beyond and we will definitely be using them for future projects 🙂

Ben and his crew are fantastic. They built my deck using Trex. Ben is very responsive, honest, exceptional pricing, very attentive to details. He is very interested in doing the job right. Every one of Ben's crew are skilled craftsman and want to do the job right. They are a hard working bunch. Ben's crew is also very polite. They let me know when they arrived in the morning and when they were leaving for the day.My husband and I have done most projects ourselves over the years so we know when things are done correctly. My husband was impressed with their work especially when they planed down the joists to all the same level. If joists aren't planed the deck boards will have a "wave" in them. My husband was also impressed with how Ben blocked the posts so they wouldn't wobble.I am attaching photos of the underside of the deck to show how they secured the deck to the house to prevent it from pulling away and the nice work they did installing the beam to support the deck. Ben and the crew did a fantastic job constructing our 16x14 composite deck. He had lots of good ideas for us and was upfront and honest. We opted for corner stairs that were 6ft wide with a shorter rise for my bad knees. I really like the picture frame around he deck. They were so great to work with. Ben and his crew really exceeded our expectations on this one. We had a tighter budget and a need for kid-friendly stairs in a spot that originally had incredibly steep stairs. With only wanting a small landing and a set of stairs, he never once tried to “sell” us on anything and appreciated our input every step of the way even though our project was a small one. We gave him creative freedom with the decking and railing color choices and he delivered! Everyone was extremely courteous and professional, and presented issues with solutions when they encountered some hidden obstacles underground. Some said it was too small of a project, others were afraid of the city of Minneapolis code requirements, and yet another gave us an outrageously expensive quote. Thankfully, Ben responded, led us through a consultation process, a simple and straight forward contract, and put us on his docket. His crew tore down our out of code, crooked, and sideways, deck and put up a beautiful new one all in the same day. They worked quickly, efficiently, and were very kind. I used Construction Con Dios to complete a new roofing project, and separately help to diagnose a leaking issue in a different area of our roof / house. Ben and his team spent several hours discussing / brainstorming, and scouring the attic for the cause of the leak which was finally determined and then fixed. The time they put in and commitment to finding the issue was their most impressive attribute. I had trouble with two guys that worked on my deck and didn’t finish. They left me high and dry. I needed aluminum railings that I purchased installed on my deck. One person messed it up and left. I found Ben and he said it was no problem for them to fix and finish. I was very stressed but Bens employee had it done to perfection in 2 days. This required some creative problem-solving and woodworking challenges in retrofitting the railing to the deck. Ben took the time to work with us in coming up with some great solutions. When Ben came to give us a quote for removing our old deck and building the new one, we were very pleased with the detailed information we received. Ben and Construction Cons Dios are FABULOUS!We had to replace some rotting posts and footings that support an addition on our house.The previous home owners had added this addition without all the appropriate permits. So the city kept requesting more info, and more detailed plans. Ben was extremely diligent about communicating with both the city, and us. He kept us updated during the whole process, and was able to work out everything so both us and the city were happy.
