Alex Bruckelmyer, business owner of Compass Co., helped out another contractor on a roof / chimney project we had done at a our home in Carlton, MN. In talking to Alex during that project we found out he also does landscaping projects. We needed a retaining wall and some stairs also replaced at the home. Alex took time to fully understand what we were after, offered some good suggestions about the project, and then completed the project within a week of when he began work. Simply seeing how well Alex runs a backhoe machine is worth the project cost alone. Very happy with the final outcome of the project - clean and professional. Nice work Compass Co.

The last company (which you took over) charged us $115.00, for the exact same thing. Now, one year later you charge $265.00?? I was also told that it would be 89.00 to have this done, you’re just a little off on the price. Had Jordan come out to look at my lawn irrigation on-shore pump. Didn't come to a conclusion of what's going on, he bypassed my pressure tank and now it's worse than before this company showed up. Disappointed in the communication even after the first visit, I showed great interest in investing in updating the system through them, chased down a quote a week after the first visit, still have nt recieved an email or a phone call.

His quick assessment and knowledge of what steps to take to solve the problems were spot on. His commitment to the project was 100%. I needed compacted snow removed from my driveway. Within 20 minutes someone responded to survey the job and give me an estimate. An hour later the equipment needed to do the job arrived at my home and completed the show removal in approximately another hour. The equipment operator and the person who gave the estimate were very professional and knowledgeable. The equipment operators performanceexceeded my expectations. I highly recommend these folks if you need snow removal and I certainly will call them again if needed in the future.

Over the last 40 years the ground around my house foundation had settled, causing rain to drain toward and settle around the foundation. Compass Co. regraded and resloped all around the house, and installed windowwells. I also had them remove large, overgrown pines and other plantings, and break up and remove a settled concrete step. They then build me a beautiful new entry deck. Taryl wrote the plan of the work that needed to be done, and Jordan and Wesley did an excellent job of following through on that plan, with great attention to detail and adding helpful touches that made the completed work even better than I expected.
