Expert tile job replacing floor and shower.Splitrock did a remarkable job diagnosing why our four-year old shower leaked and the floor stopped heating. They gave us alternatives to consider meeting our budget and timeline. Their expert work beefing up the floor and waterproofing, installing a new heating element, and improving the shower drain layout and pitch. Working with a heavy and brittle natural stone, the tile installation was both professional and artistic. Plus, in piecing together the new floor and wall, they managed to compliment the original tiles, which had a lighter tone. Their insight, technical craft, and artistic eye pulled everything in the master bath together.While working they kept us informed and performed the work in a timely manner even after discovering unanticipated challenges in the original design and execution. We had some stucco damage on our house, due to snow.Thank goodness we found Splitrock to do the repairs.I called and they were there same day to look at the damage and estimates were within the next couple days.When the crew came, my husband and I were so impressed with the work ethic and how pleasant they were.They got the whole house done within 3 days and left our yard immaculate.We have already talked with that crew to come spring 2024 for some work on the garage.I have recommended Splitrock to a friend for work that is needed and would recommend them to anyone needed quality work done.

We started a project to install stone veneer on our fireplace that we were not able to finish. We got a referral to Splitrock and glad we ended up going with them. They showed up the day I called to give us a quote and finished the job in only a couple of days. Paul was recommended to me for tile work, but he does so much more. In my addition, he tiled bathroom to perfection. laid the bamboo floors, finished the dry wall mudding and base coat, assembled and installed cabinets, created a "hobbit door," and did all the window trim. For my home, he repointed the chimney from the roofline up. In a few weeks, he'll be starting another tile and paneling job in my basement. He shows up when he says he will, he gets the job done quickly but expertly.

Mr. Paul Johnston and Sons created a paradise in my front and back yard. The paver patios are absolutely beautiful and everyone who visits mentions the level of skill executed in their design. I discovered there isn't much this talented company cannot do, including updating my old cement porch with slate!, building a park quality pavilion and garden bridge and trenching and fixing a leaking sub basement wall. Let's not forget they steam ice dams and shovel roofs which is how I met them. Skilled, honest, affordable, courteous and a real pleasure to work with!!!

We hired the team to take care of the heavy snow and substantial ice dams built up from the early snows in 2022.The good:They were able to come out shortly after I contacted them to do the job.They removed 95% of the snow and ice from the roof.The not good:95 is not 100, and the remaining snow and ice were left in places likely to generate new ice dams.They did not pay attention to where they removed the snow and ice to; my driveway was left with almost an inch of solid ice near the house from the runoff.They piled the snow from one section of the roof directly on top of fencing I had set up for my dogs. My dogs now have a hill they can climb, instead of a fence to keep them in.It is expensive, and though they are transparent about it I was still frustrated to pay for them standing around while warming up the equipment, even though they had been there removing the snow and could have warmed it up at the same time.

Edit of my edit: Initially gave these guys 4 stars for a well done job removing snow from my roof. I then had an issue with a miscommunication, which led to me posting a poor review. They got back to me and cleared up the issue. They have been swamped with rooftops and I was impatient in their response time. I would use them again and recommend them
