Our neighbor had indicated they had checked out some roofing companies & decided to go with NorthFace for their roof & siding project, so we added NorthFace to the three companies we decided to seek estimates from. NorthFace was the only one of the three that sent someone out prepared to go up on the roof to check out the situation for our initial conversation (one did aerial measurements for an estimate, the other one in a telephone conversation said to send them the insurance adjusters estimate & they would use that to decide if they would do the job). We are very pleased with the work NorthFace did on our roof replacement. Devyn, Nate & Steve were all very responsive, pleasant & professional. We anticipated the job being postponed because of the first day being very windy & our roof high & steep but the crew arrived at 6:45am ready to start at 7:00 & went ahead despite the 30-45 mph wind gusts. The crew worked very well & efficient together & cleaned everything up without any issues. We do recommend them & won’t hesitate to call them again when needed.

This was the first time I had to do a roof claim, so I really appreciated the team working with insurance to get the roof claim complete and submitting supplemental materials.However, the experience of actually working on the roof was somewhat vague. When the job was complete the team just left and didn't let us know. We weren't sure if they were done or not since there was a bunch of materials left in our front yard. I called and they said someone would come by to pick it up. A week passed and we had to move it aside so that we could rake our leaves. It's been a week and a half now and no one has come by to pick it up yet. The project manager also said that he would come by to do a walkthrough, but no one has come by yet.In terms of quality, we didn't get any pictures from Northface, but from what I could see some of the shingles aren't laid down fully. I was told that would fix itself once it gets warmer, so I'm hoping it does. A piece of plastic is also stuck in there. That might be from the packaging, but I wish they paid attention to those small details.

Northface Construction installed Diamond Kote siding on my house. They did an excellent job during a week when the weather was 90+ degrees. On a second visit, their employee Nathan installed a new gutter and downspout for my garage; he replaced another older downspout; he built and installed three light blocks on the front of my garage and next to the front door. In addition, he repaired woodpecker damage on my cedar siding, including replacing insulation and cedar siding. Nathan's work was perfect, with great attention to detail and excellent skills. He finished all of these items in one day! I highly recommend Northface Construction. They will be my first call for any additional work at my home.

We had a leak coming in to one of the condos from our attic. Northface responded quickly and the employees showed up on time. The two young man were very professional and quickly pinned down the problem.After having such a good experience with Northface in 2021 our HOA decided to hire them again after the hailstorm in 2022 damaged the roof and siding of our building. Now the work is done and we have nothing but good things to say about this experience. This started with the teamwork getting the work approved the insurance company and now the replacement of the roof and siding. Andrew, Mitch and Nate were great to work with. Questions were quickly answered and concerns dealt with in a timely fashion. The crews that replaced the roof and put on the new siding did a wonderful job. We just love how it all turned out.

I do not normally do reviews unless the service utterly failed or if it exceeded my expectations. NorthFace’s roofing crew under Keith Locnikar’s lead completed my roofing replacement in a single day. Impeccable work and a cleanup that left my house and yard looking like they had never been there.NorthFace is handling my entire home repairs from last summer’s hail storm. Nate and the team replaced our roof after a hail storm. The crew was here on time and were all hard at work until the job was done. They cleaned up, and took care throughout the whole process to protect our home and belongings from any damage during their work. Unexpectedly, a crew even came back the following day just to make sure everything was fully cleaned up after the job was completed!! Fantastic job!!

Northface Construction has provided world class services to the roof and siding replacement projects at our house.Before we found Northface, we were stuck in our insurance claim with Allstate and unable to get full replacement coverage even though the shingles were discontinued at the manufacturer side. Northface used their extreme expertise and knowledge with the industry and worked persistently with Allstate and succeeded in getting full insurance coverage and rescued us. Once the project started, Northface provided the best customer communication I have ever seen in scheduling and prep and execution phases. All work crews (roof, siding, gutter, electrical) were instrumental in their work. Especially for the siding/fascia/flushing replacement project, the team was very dedicated, worked 8 long days and cleaned up the site very well every evening and did a beautiful job with highest quality. I cannot thank Northface enough for everything they did for us and would hire them again in a heart beat!

Northface Construction was excellent to work with, they replaced my roof due to hail damage, and replaced my facia and soffit do to old age. Every person in the company, especially Austin and Nate were super to work with. They both addressed any concerns or questions I had and always were polite and respectful. From initial inspection to final walkthrough they all were extremely helpful. Even when I had a little bit of damage left from the roofing crew on a couple pieces of siding, window trim, and a nail sticking out a piece of drip edge. Nate and Austin discussed my options and were out later that day or the next to fix the issues I had. That is quality customer service. Thank you to Austin, Nate and the rest of the Northface team!

He came by to inspect our roof for leaks and not only did he caulk a few possible problem spots, but he walked us through each possible solution to our leak problems. Definitely give Northface a call if you're looking into roof replacement or repairs!

Detailed and more than happy to answer any questions. Prices are fair, work quality is excellent. Northface Construction had an awesome crew! Everyone from Dylan and DJ with whom we first contacted to the roofers themselves were great! They communicated clearly, were timely and did a wonderful job. Their clean-up afterwards was excellent too - didn't find any "extra" nails in our yard and they did a great job protecting our gardens! Our roof was an insurance claim and Northface communicated with our insurance company in a very professional manner; we had no hick-ups whatsoever! We would highly recommend Northface Construction!

Highly recommend Northface Construction, and Austin Shinler! He has gone above and beyond in every regard. After the August hail storm in Minneapolis, Austin spent over 2.5 hours documenting the roof damage to assist with a smooth claim process. His diligence allowed for a quick rebuttal on the insurance estimate with documented support, and an easy approval by the insurance company. I heard unsolicited feedback from both the insurance adjustor and insurance claims analyst how great Austin is to work with. That level of service is rare, and it helps make a stressful situation easy to handle. Austin’s helpful honest nature, focus on customer service, and excellent communication skills separate him from competitors. I chose Northface Construction based on their incredibly high Google review score, and they still exceeded expectations. Andrew was very thorough and honest in his review of the entire exterior of the home. He didn't just jump on the roof but looked for possible damage on the exterior. I had an occasional drip coming from a vent and suspected a roof leak and called Northface Construction. I talked to Jess and she was very professional and polite. She set up an inspection with Devyn. When Devyn arrived, he did a complete inspection in my attic as well as on the roof and quickly found the cause of the leak. Devyn followed up with an email quote as well as alternatives and ideas on how to fix the root of the problem. Everyone I worked with at Northface was very professional, knowledgeable and courteous. If and when I have any more roofing problems, I know I will be calling them back.

My experience with Northface Construction was mixed due to several factors. I'll start with the good things first:Northface sales consultant (Kyle) was the main reason why our entire roof and gutters claim ($31k) was covered by our insurance after they initially rejected the claim. Kyle and Howard came out twice and worked with the adjustors. We are super grateful. The roof installers were hardworking (started at 7AM), used protective tarps in most areas, and completed the job in 2.5 days. Keith, the project foreman, was communicative. Dylan did a great job following up with finish trim (skylights) and touch-up for our ceiling (loose nail during installation).Here's why I'm only giving 3 stars: I had to micro-manage many parts of the process before, during, and after. Kyle (sales) was junior and made some mistakes along the way with details. For example, we started the process in July, finalized contract/deposit in August, and yet installation for end of September was almost delayed to late October (we had family coming in mid-October, a date I shared from the beginning). Howard stepped in, moved things around, and was able to get our roof installed early October. As a result of the mix-up, we weren't able to get our chimney flue replaced, nor would the gutters and soffits be installed shortly after , so we decided to go with another company for gutters, gutter guards, soffits, and fascia ($16k worth of work).There were some other parts of my experience that were sub-par. For example, Kyle promised the clean-up was impeccable but the roofing crew (subcontractors? didn't speak English nor communicate often) didn't clean up each night and left a huge unsightly and unsafe mess at the end (I have pictures, but won't share). After prompting, they did come back the next morning and spent 2 hours cleaning up in the rain. Northface's in-house foreman (Keith) did speak English but was only around for 1-2 hours each day because of other jobs—compared to my experience with Craftsman for windows and siding (in-house crews and foreman who also work onsite).After installation was complete, I went up and inspected the roof. There was a bath vent that had the rodent guard missing and another bath vent with the instruction paper still inside of it, blocking airflow. Concerned yet? I found leftover debris as well. This is something their crew should have done to get behind their workmanship. In fact, another company did our siding a month later and found some issues with the roof installation (rot at wing-wall base, flashing issues) that weren't addressed properly and fixed it. Another example: we had three conditioned spaces with roofs that terminated into a return wall with no roof venting even though they had soffit intake vents. Probably a miss since this house was built in '78. Northface didn't call this out as a concern and so later I had to get our siding company (Craftsman Home Improvements) to install the "roof-to-wall" vents to prevent future issues with condensation/ventilation.Less related, but worth nothing: Northface's quote for James Hardie siding seemed high - it came in double ($90k vs. $45k) the company we went with, and both are rated highly on Google.All in all, the roof install looks good but I have issues trusting the quality because of my mixed experience. In some ways, Northface over-promised and under-delivered, when it came to project management, workmanship, and clean-up.As part of our contract, we will get a GAF Golden Pledge warranty (25 years workmanship and 50 years manufacturing defects) and I hope Northface follows through on this if issues ever occur. I also hope this feedback is helpful to Northface Construction so they can find ways to improve.
