We enjoy shopping this store! It’s close to our lake property with friendly service and almost all we could ever need for our Cabin. From LED bulbs to lumber to house plants to light fixtures! They even have a good selection of window blinds with blind cutter! The store is clean and the sales are good! 😃We will use this store a lot in the future!

Hands down, my favorite big box hardware store. Everything you need and a few things you don't can be had here. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Organized and clean store.

Grabbed a sheet of drywall from the 3/8" pile, did not find out it was actually 1/2" until a few hours later after I had made all the cuts. I have deadlines for the project and this was a major disappointment.

Home Depot was a major part of starting my business here in Grand Rapids. I bought furniture, lumber, paint, and cleaning supplies from them. The staff was always very helpful and knowledgeable. I had a very specific vision in mind for what I wanted my office to look like and Trish in particular, helped me use the color match system to get the colors right so that they matched my brand. I was also doing all the painting myself so Trish took the time to advise me on helpful tools, techniques, and what sort of paint would be most appropriate for my setting. I also love my dresser

I have been here a couple of times. Once was to buy a fridge. The process went smoothly and they took a lot of safety precautions when loading l, which was good!The last time I was there wasn’t so great. The woman seemed quite irritated I was asking for help. I literally found myself apologizing after asking for assistance when she came across annoyed. Also, I heard her make a comment to a customer blaming Trump for the increase in prices after a he just mentioned that a product was more expensive than he thought it would be. The employee was rude and unprofessional.

Terrible service from the landscaping department. Wouldn't honor an online order. Poor assistance in person and they told me to order online instead. So i go to the website that says they have 600 in stock and 3 days later I get a call saying they have 20. They then are unwilling to resolve the issue and advise me to cancel the order. Won't spend another dime at this store. Would give 0 stars if I could.

Same home depot as any other. Mostly shop here for makita or the occasional ryobi power tools. Would like to see the staff be a little bit more knowledgeable in their departments. I've only met a few that were great and understood their products. That said never had any problems with returns or warranty issues.

I’m doing a kitchen remodeling & ordered a gas stove from my home town HD in Grand Rapids. So excited to get my new kitchen, I ordered a couple months ahead! Went to HD store & picked out my stove on the floor, ordered it, payed in full along with 5 year warranty! They deliver & I was not home but contractors were there to assist with putting stove in my garage. No problem?? Then went it came time to hook up in my kitchen, after they opened up the box with no damage the stove door was damaged!!! Went to HD today to come get damaged stove in exchange for another one, 🤣 such a joke. They say the stove was not from their store, rather another, so not their problem??? I picked out the stove at their store & been without a stove for 3 months, I expect a stove that I picked out & not a repair guy to replace parts, to wait another month or more??? This is so uncalled for!! And GR expects us to shop local?? I was so looking forward to cook again after waiting months for my new kitchen & now this😡😡 I’ve always shopped at GR HD but not anymore & will let all my friends & family know

Went in to pick up a online order. It's clear they don't have any sort of system if what you've spent hundreds of dollars on is bigger than a light bulb. Ended up waiting near a hour before I went back and found my order myself. The poor guy at the customer service desk was absolutely swamped, doing his best, while 3/4 of the staff was in back having a meeting, circle jerk, or whatever. They couldn't be bothered with customers. Support your customer service staff! I feel bad for the people that actually do work there.*Edit*Begrudgingly came back here because they were the only place that could get what I needed.Same person working customer service counter. He's still excellent. Was able to pick up what I ordered efficiently and get on my way. Upgraded to 4 stars from 2. Still salty about the first time I was here but I'll try it again when needed.

I don't typically leave corny reviews but I frequent home depot quite often throughout the metro. With that being said I was really surprised at how helpful the workers are here. I must have been asked 3 or 4 times if I needed help while I was there. You don't get this at all in the twin cities. In today's world doing your job with a smile on your face is a pretty big deal. Keep it up northern Minne-so-tah!

The store is stereotypical and floor plan is carbon copy to every other Home Depot I have ever frequented. The service people are very friendly and happy to help. Shelves are usually stocked and product is upto date and free from dust.

Wonderful service from a Garden employee, working Sunday afternoon, August 28th. She , ‘Mary’ over heard us trying to figure out which mum plant to purchase for my mother in law and re-potted it for us , which was very kind of her! Wonderful plants! Wonderful service! Thank you!!

It is nice. Has all the equipment you need there. But a week and half away from halloween all the decorations were taken down and all Christmas stuff is out! Bummer because we wanted to look and see but to our surprise all gone!!

Great experience. Associates were extremely helpful when asked. We found a vanity that was on a higher shelf, when we asked for assistance, 2 Associates were quickly there and eager to help. Love this store.

I used to love this place going there every weekend and looking what they have for new products I have boughten a lot of stuff throughout the years at this place. So last year I decided to buy some vinyl floor planking. Well I bought too much always better to buy more than not enough when it comes to your personal preference. Winter was to long and cold so I decided to wait for return unused flooring. Just last week I decided to return unused cases of flooring to home Depot had five cases left over loaded up the car they're not light I might add. At last I'm at home Depot unloaded them in a cart and strolled in store. Got to the return station told the person I do not have a receipt could I get a in store credit and gave person my driver's license. That's what they did in the past. Well he handed my driver's license back and told me it was denied I needed a receipt like I said in the beginning don't have one I lost it just want some in-store credit so I can buy a air conditioner nope it's denied didn't ask me for a phone number or email address either which I don't think I used anyway. So people if you're reading this pay by check charge or whatever but don't pay in cash Don't Do It I'm so mad it's going to be a while before I go back in that place 5 cases came up to 386 dollars. They came up with the right price but denied to return I know there's a lot of wrong stuff going on these days but a person on the level should not have to endure this.....

Nyna at Home Depot in Grand Rapids is a wonderful asset. I also need to mention Bonnie and her kindness. These two make every visit when they are there, stand out differently than other visits. Today I stopped in with my daughter for what is likely # 112 Children’s workshop. As my daughter works on her project, I get questions answered which usually results in either me buying something or sharing knowledge I have from my job. Please recognize these two women for being the best part of a stop at Home Depot I in Grand Rapids Minnesota

My only complaint is, like many of the employees will tell you, This is basically a micro version of a home depot. So you cant get everything you need or want but you can still get frustrated looking for it. Do yourself a favor and ask an employee before searching hi and low. They are pretty friendly and knowledgeable. Take care and be kind.

Over the past few years, we have been working on a project that involves refurbishing a large house, so we have made multiple trips to the Home Depot in Grand Rapids.The employees working at this store have always been very nice and willing to help us, especially Camela and Mary. Both of them have helped us getting the right paint (even when an error was made, they were very quick in fixing the issue for us, even when the store was about to close for the day) and to select the right material for various tasks we needed to complete. They are both very professional, kind, and ready to help.We couldn't be more grateful, as without their help it would have been more challenging to tackle this project. Thank you so much for your help!

I couldn't find any homes there... anyone know what's up with that? Also, I regret to inform those seeing this, but if you were looking for "de pot," you will find none there. Very disappointing and also definitely false advertising. Can't believe I thought Sammy's Pizza Restaurant was bad.

Terrible customer service no one cares to help, when you get someone to speak to you they are snappy and short. They don’t help you load anything they could care less if you are spending money and shopping there. Very dissatisfied with this visit.

The Grand Rapids MN store is nice overall with no complaints about the sales people. What prevented a sale was that we were searching for a refrigerator and none are kept in stock -- we needed one to take home that day. That took us to Lowe's in Hibbing MN.

We were in Home Depot this morning and very interested in purchasing a shower stall. Asked for assistance and we're told not my department I will call someone else to help you. We waited 30 minutes and asked again for assist they called again we waited again for 15 more minutes. Finally we left without any purchase. Very unhappy.

Many of the Home Depot employees at this store are very helpful (hence the three stars, which would otherwise be a one-star review), but I have to say that I encountered a number issues with one of the Customer Service employees, Nicole.Like many other people, we are working on refurbishing a property and have been purchasing a lot of material from this particular store, so sometimes we may have to return a few items because they are defective or they are simply not the right tools we need.On almost every occasion we dealt with Nicole, she made it a challenge to get a refund. On the last occasion, we were returning an item that costs less than $4 (mind you, we spent thousands of dollars at this store), and she refused to help us. Of course, it's not so much the money itself, it's her demeanor and unwillingness to help us that negatively affected us. For this reason, we have decided to purchase everything we need at Lowe's in Hibbing going forward. Yes, it's a longer drive from Grand Rapids, but we get better service there.

Merchandise was clogging pretty much every aisle I attempted to go down. Literally had a pallet of paint set dead in the middle of an aisle making it impossible to get a cart through. There were two cashiers down on the pro side, and they were both talking to other people that were clearly just there for them (I get it, I was young once to) but they completely ignored us trying to pay.Ended up going to a self checkout and the person at the self checkout stand had wandered over to the other people to join the conversation, and I'm pretty sure I could have just taken all the merchandise home... Obviously I wouldn't do that, but literally nobody was paying attention the entire time we were in there.
