Outstanding customer service! My door wouldn’t open, after business hours of course. I called the company and all of the tech’s had left for the day. I was given Dave’s cell phone number. I called him and he patiently walked me through troubleshooting and got it fixed. The door has been great with very few issues. When there is an issue, the friendly, helpful team has been great to deal with.

I was a door builder for 1.5 weeks and that was enough! So many things wrong with this place! There process to build and flip these doors is the most UNSAFE I've seen as a welder in 15 yrs! If I could do a zero star I would! They DONT provide PPE for us and we have to pay for our own gloves, sleeves and glasses! They do not do holiday pay, but you can work holidays at straight pay! I didn't even know who the lead was in our department! Prints are designer prints and are not WELD prints at all!! There's no preliminary quality checks, and shocked what is acceptable to go out as product! Glad I'm not there anymore and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone to work! Should have listened to the "word of mouth" I've heard over the last 15 yrs!Boss/owner runs his ship his way, doesn't care about your opinion. Watches cameras every step through the day and do not ask your coworker questions about the product because he will snap on you!! Don't ask, just weld! Micromanaging is strong here!!!Disclaimer: this is from my own personal experience in the time I was employed there.

I myself personally have been working with Schweiss Doors for 21 years and I’ve never had a bad experience whatsoever Jeremy and Mike and Dave are very helpful can you even get a hold of them on the weekend if you need a question that’s unheard of by most businesses

I started in the building business in 1986. And 37 years later I'm still in the business. Schweiss hangar doors have always been there. Building companies and hangar door companies come and go, but not Schweiss.A few years ago, a customer from 25 years ago in Alaska called me and said he wanted to replace the cables on his Schweiss door. Nothing wrong with them, just as a precaution. Schweiss Federal Expressed him new cables that day. No charge! Outstanding customer service.Quality manufacturing, though is what really sets them apart from the others. Schweiss is known industry wide as the best product on the market, period. Some other companies might say that their door is cheaper. Why spend good money on a airplane and a hangar then put a cheap door on it? Ask any pilot who's had his plane in a hangar with a lesser quality door. They'll let you know the "issues" they had to deal with. Binding, not sealing properly, and in the worst case, not opening or closing are all too common.With upwards of 500 Schweiss doors put on hangars I've done over the years, I've never heard a complaint about 1 of them. Not one! That's quality.I might sound like a Schweiss commercial, but I'm just sold on the product. And for good reason.

We have a large hangar door but we needed to replace a walk in door.It took months of fake promises and finally we where delivered last week with the wrong door. Now their customer service is trying to blame my contractor who did nothing but the right thing.This company has issues and I would strongly recommend not to buy anything from them.

I’ve installed Schweiss Doors for 25 years and 25 years later, every single one of them are still in operation. Schweiss by far is the best door made.Starting with its steel structure frames, columns, headers which are made second to none and built solid. The mechanical operation of door is flawless.The electric controls from the primary side to the secondary control side are robust and provide year upon year of reliable operation.It’s been my pleasure as an installer to have the opportunity to install a premium door such as the ones Schweiss provides.Whether a Bi-Fold or Hydraulic Swing…Schweiss Door is the only door.

If I had the option for no stars I would. Not only do they not support our military men and women. They also don't let employees that are in the military acquire overtime while every other "civilian" is able. Isn't this discrimination against service men and women? Makes me disgusted!I'll be doing my research to see what the BBB thinks about this and talk to the service men and women I stood beside during my 10 years of service

My company has used Schweiss doors for years. When looking for a supplier we look at Quality, Service and Price in that order. Schweiss checks all the boxes from engineering to production we have never had a problem with bi-fold or hydraulic doors.

I travel all over Michigan, Indiana and Ohio servicing all makes and models of hangar doors and they are definitely my favorite doors to work on. The doors are engineered and built very well and they have always been very helpful when troubleshooting problems and finding working solutions. Also the installation and maintenance manuals are very well done.

I have installed and worked on a lot of different hangar doors and in my opinion Schweiss Doors are by far a superior door than all the rest, better built, better quality and more trouble free with excellent customer service. In my opinion there is no door that compares to a Schweiss strap lift by-fold door.

If you can avoid buying a door from these clowns-do it. Have called twice about an issue with a Schweiss hanger door and both times they took my name, serial number of door etc... and NEVER EVEN CALLED ME BACK!!! One call concerned a safety issue with one of the wire door lift cables-it frayed and broke. Good thing I wasn't laying under it. Do not buy from this Company.

Schweiss never repaired the door when they came out. They charged $1700. I hired a different company, who fixed the door for $500. I called Schweiss and they wouldn't refund me any money even after I sent them pictures of the problem with the door they did not fix. Please don't use this company. There are better ones out there..

I've only used Schweiss Doors once for my Cessna 180 and it was designed with my house in mind and the quality was excellent and I have had no issues in over a year. I would recommend this company the owner is very passionate about his product.

We purchased 2 Bi-Fold Doors from them.One works no problem.The larger door was designed with a single motor to lift the door.Two months of back and forth when the door did not open, they sent a new motor saying it was a bad motor, made us pay for the replacement motor and that did not fix the issue.They said ok we will send a speed reducer to lift the door.It goes up no problem now, and it takes twice as long to open the door.We stressed our frustration and wanted the door to go up correctly without it taking twice as long.They said ok we engineered the door wrong and we will send a second motor to install. This was a month ago.They have scheduled someone to come but want us to pay for the warehouse to be rewired to handle the second motor they failed to incorporate in the initial design of this door.They built this door with a single motor on it not taking into the count the extra weight for a 140MPH door.We would like to make sure if you purchase their product to have someone besides them to verify the engineering of their product.If you except a smooth transaction it will not be with this company.We have been in our building since November 2020, it is now March 19th 2021 and the doors are still not corrected.
