Several months ago we hired MBC to replace our roof. Bill Ferrie inspected our roof and discovered evidence of hail damage. At first, our insurance company denied our claim however, Bill Ferrie completed his own loss report, with photos and asked the carrier to come out and inspect our roof again. The insurance company dragged this process out for months but, with Bill's knowledge and hard work, the carrier eventually totaled our roof. We are confident that hiring Minnesota Building Contractors was a great decision.Once the approval to total the roof happened, the team was on site in days and the work was completed in less than 48 hours! Wow, these guys are amazing! Just got my roof done by Minnesota Building Contractors and I'm super impressed. JD Harstad, the project manager, was a rockstar. He kept everything running smooth and was always there to answer my million questions – seriously, nothing was too much trouble for him.The crew was great too. They were friendly, worked hard, and made sure everything was cleaned up afterwards. And the roof? Looks fantastic. Bill and the crew at MBC did a great job on our full roof replacement. Our home was built in 1928. The boards under the shingles were not up to code. Bill was able to get the insurance company to pay for that repair in addition to the new roof. It has already withstood a number of thunderstorms and high winds. Bill and his crew carefully repaired an old membrane (nearly flat) roof over a porch. They made sure the understructure was repaired as needed and went the extra mile to prep the sides for new gutters. Cleaned up the area completely after finishing. Looks great and now leak free! VERY hard workers that worked LONG hours. Very respectful of the many shrubs/plants/trees in the extensive gardens around our house. Good communication from Bill. The radon vent was accidently bumped and it snapped off from the motor housing in the attic. I told Bill and he immediately told me to have someone come out and have the system inspected. A new motor had to be installed and Bill simply said to send him the invoice and he'd cover the cost. A rare December wind storm hit southeast Minnesota. Our house roofwas severely damaged and needed a quick repair to prevent leaking form rain and snow. After contacting 3 other roof contractors in the area andnone of them showing up or returning a call, we came across MBC in Lanesboro . Bill came over to the house on Sunday and did a temp repair on the damage till we could get a permanent repair on roof. Bill, the owner of MBC, did a inspection and worked with our insurance company to get the roof repaired. As the damage was quite extensive, the whole roof needed to be replaced with new shingles. Bill said as soon as a warm spell comes he could replace the roof. A couple warm days came and Bill and his crew came over and replaced the roof in one day.We were more than pleased with his service. Our insurance company was only going to cover the damage of our 23 spots of our shingles and not the complete roof. JD fought our insurance company all the way until we got the whole roof covered. He even bought a bundle of shingles and video taped to show that the shingles they said were the correct match were not the correct match. He spent multiple trips to our house and dealt with multiple phone calls with our insurance company.
