New home delivered in July. I love the layout. The builders just don’t take pride in their work- sloppy work. Just a lot of little things. Lots of moisture on windows. 3 as of now, cupboard doors have fallen apart. I don’t think they were ever clued. The vent for microwave is dented causing moisture to drip down. This was reported have not heard a thing back. Looks things over very close!

We bought this house 6 years ago, not too many issues yet. I guess you get what you pay for. Had a few issues getting the finish work done after they set the house.both entry door locks stopped working, but outside of that it doesn't seem to take much to heat or cool the house.we did have a roof leak by the fresh air intake last winter, but I fixed that issue.

We have cupboards coming apart. We have frozen water lines in winter. We had water coming through the ceiling due to no caulking on the flashing on our roof. We had outlets that didn't work. We have poor water pressure due to the small PEX line they put in the home. I don't believe there is one item of quality in the entire home. The carpet was so cheap we pulled it out. The linoleum is so thin that it tears. The doors are poor quality. The windows mold and bubble in winter. We had water coming through our sliding glass door in pouring rain. Absolutely the worst quality I've ever experienced.

Water pressure is weak in masterbedroom, gots siding that never got fixed and was on the to get fixes and many other things on list that never got fixed, fridge dont work and never fixed or replaced said they would. they blew it off and never fixed any the problems I had when bought the house.

Poorly built manufactured homes, poor quality. Cupboards falling apart. Cheap non-washable white paint, floor in areas feels like it's going to cave in, mold on inside of windows from moisture coming in, air conditioning pipe installed wrong, Definitely would mot recommend! Reach out to customer service which does no good! Unfortunately you can't give a negative star rating or I would. Every room now has soft sinking spots. Mt guess is that's what happens when no sub floor is placed! Guess when someone falls through and gets hurt it'll be lawyer time!

The house was overall pretty nice but some of the work like siding install is pretty shoody from day 1 they came and tryed to fix a few times then just gave up. Floor in kitchen has warped beams and some of the trim was falling off and exterior doors don't seal well but overall pretty decent after 2 years.

It takes months for them to respond. Nothing is their fault. Recently had a serviceman come 5 hours. He was really good but had to go thru another who just talked about there is no regard for quality just how quickly they can produce houses. Both times took over 3 months to gat a response.Now we are dealing with a vinyl floor that is stretching. We never recieved care instructions and it's our fault for moving the stools back and forth at the island in the kitchen. We should have hard board under the appliances and stools or casters. The stools have glides. Never experienced such substandard product and finger pointing. It's been a frustrating experience. A cheap IKEA cabinet is so much better than what they produce. The counter tops have dangerous edges. I've had to sand them so I'd stop cutting myself on them. Opening in the floor weren't sealed so we had rodents in the vanity.

We bought a new home from them there was several issues upon receiving our new home. Very poor quality of work the serviceman that schulte sent out had several medical issues so there were always excuses. When the serviceman from Schult came out the quality of work repairs that he did were very poor. We called several times & talked to Joel & Cale & hot nowhere if you are purchasing a home I would suggest you use a company that cares about you as a purchaser. We ended up getting different color trim pieces around the doors that needed replacing saying that this is the only option they have for replacement so we would ask why would we be able to choose a specific color when doing our house but they don't have the same color to replace it with. This is 1 of the many issues we had with them. Save your money go with someone else. It took us almost 1 whole year for any repairs to be fixed & many things that were wrong didn't get fixed because there was always excuses.

Counter tops out of level more than an inch front to back, upper cabinets not level. Poor quality drywall finishing. Upper management not receptive at all and very condescending. I would not recommend this company to anyone.Service: Luxury home building

I bought a Schult home 12 years ago with a gas fireplace. Midway thru the first season it quit working and they sent out repair people to fix it. Midway thru the second season it again quit working so I just quit using it. I am now trying to get it repaired but no one will work on it . It was mfgd by Fmi products. I called Schult for help in finding a repair source and was told they don't have anyone, don't know of anyone, and that I'm on my own to find someone to repair it. The man I spoke with was very difficult to understand and couldn't care less about my issue. This fireplace was used less then 50 hrs total and is now unrepairable junk.I have found much the same issue with the plumbing fixtures, electrical fixtures, windows and appliances that came with the home, which I have had to replace since I bought the home.If you plan on living in your home more then 5 years I would definitely NOT recommend a Schult home.You will get NO satisfaction from the builder!

I have ordered my home and they are the ones building it. It's my home and with all the money that is being spent they are telling me I cant have my shower the way I want it. When you look at site it says you choose your plan and amenities. I want a certain shower and they won't do it. If I would have known this from the start I would have taken my money elsewhere. Not a happy buyer!

build a stick built- 2002 modular bought new. First was shown a picture of how they blow the insulation in the walls. They used bat insulation with no vapor barrier. They did not put flashing around bow wind- had to remove the whole window as it had black mold from continual leaking. Roof leaked found they cut the shingles in the valley clear through both layers. My unit came from KS- wish I had stick built. Oh- and the walls are so out of square, doors would keep shutting- had to remove sheet rock - restud it for the doors 1.25 " from being plumb in just 80 inches.

Very unreliable when it comes to applying and getting hired. They are unresponsive but as you call back they say they will call back the next day. They don't end up calling back. Otherwise, I met the crews and they seem awesome to work with.

We didn’t get anything we ordered the flooring was wrong the cupboards,no open stairwell, wrong shower no window in shower, not sure if it was the dealer order wrong or the builders they both blame each other, and I’m the one who gets the short end of the deal, and I also had to find my own drywall person. 👎

When we bought our new single wide home we were told that Shilt Homes sends their workers up to fix whatever is needed.. Total LIE! We have been in our home sine July 2nd, 2018 and are still waiting for them to come fix things! NOT HAPPY! This is ridiculous!
