I have a large maintenance free older deck that had a corner that was sinking and wanted a new vertical cable railing system. Brothers Construction did an awesome job! They put footings in where needed, replaced support beams and installed new railing. They were in constant contact with me as the project morphed and got my approval for all changes as needed. They were very creative in using the old railing for a border leaving a wonderful finished look. End result is a beautiful sturdy deck!

Brothers Const. Have not only been hard workers, but their main concern was me and what I wanted. I was able to trust them with my home even when I couldn’t be there. Their work was outstanding, for I am disabled and they made everything in my bathroom safe and accessible. I had no room before and now I have room in my shower for a chair when needed and room to move around in my bathroom. I appreciated their work and honesty so much I hired them to do a couple more jobs . They are fair with their pricing and do what they say they are going to do.

The crew did outstanding work installing a new metal roof on our lake cabin. They went above and beyond to do the job right, in a quick timeframe and at a fair price. This included them driving an hour each way to pick up the roofing materials. The cabin looks great and their work will surely last a long time.

Reached out to Brothers Construction about a water damage issue we had in our homeThe communication was timely and they answered all of my questions.They are very professional to deal with, and it is clear they have knowledge and experience in what they were doing and kept us on the same page the whole time.The work was completed efficiently and well, and no mess left at all. They went above expectations to do quality work and it is clear as well from their work they do care about the final product and function for the homeowner. They exceed expectations and we fully plan to be contacting them for any work we need in the future.

Guys are good to work with! They listen to what you want/need. They are hardworking, focused and do quality work & a nice job of clean up. So far Brothers Construction has added a slider and deck to our cabin. We are on the books for them to redo our sunroom roof and complete our kitchen remodel! Looking to it!(BTW- we also hired them to bring in a skid-steer to assist us w/ beach work as a result of the ice this year! Thnx!)

As a commercial general contractor in the Twin Cities, I understand construction and working with sub-contractors, quality, and pricing on a daily basis. Our family recently built a cabin on Big Sandy lake and had the oppurtunity to work with Josh and his employees on multiple projects on our lake home. They did an excellent good job from start to finish and even through warranty work. They were respectful, always took care of cleaning up and their quality was superb. We would have no hesitations on using them again and providing a recommendation as well. 5 stars for sure for this contractor!!

We were suggested by a family friend to go through Brothers Construction. We had nothing short of a great experience. Wanted to get our roof done fairly quick and Josh worked with us to make it happen. Communication was excellent, and the crew did amazingly fast quality work. Josh and his crew replaced our roof and siding due to ice damage on our cabin. Their work was completed as promised and their workmanship exceeded our expectations. Josh also brought to our attention a safety issue on our deck that was beyond the scope of this job, but needed to be addressed. Even though they were busy with other jobs, Brother’s stepped up to fix the deck. If you’re looking for a company that communicates with their customers, and does a great job, I could not recommend Brother’s more highly.

In April ‘23 my roof was heavily damaged in a windstorm. I needed a fast repair/replacement, and found Brothers Construction through a trusted source. I had a quick response from Josh. He was professional, informative and demonstrated integrity. Following the roof inspection, the estimate was transparent and complete, with no hidden costs. The roofing project was to begin on a Saturday. After learning of a conflict/party at my neighbors, Josh respectfully accommodated and rescheduled the roofing start date. I had nothing but a positive experience with Brothers Construction… Excellent, on time, respectful,left no debris behind, and I have a beautiful roof! A+

Let me just tell you right now, none of us knew exactly what we were going to find with our home remodel and this house threw everything at Brothers construction that it possibly could.They handled each and every problem that arose without hesitation and with ease. The crew was amazing and very polite, they were transparent with everything and even patient with me as a still somewhat new home owner.Our home has turned from something depressing to a very beautiful sight!Will definitely recommend them to the next guy! We hired Brothers Construction LLC to do several remodeling jobs in our lake home in McGregor. Joshua was very quick to respond to request for estimate and seemed willing to work with our needs in a professional manner. He gave a start date for the project. That start date came and passed and I had to call 3 times to ask when they were going to start before they actually showed up. That should have been my first warning.Throughout the project there were several small things that needed to be redone as they weren't done correctly the first time. We had ordered a 4' wide by 3' tall window, single hung, for our bedroom and a 3'wide by 4' tall one was installed. The siding outside and walls inside had already been patched in to the new window so rather than ask them to take it out and do it as ordered, we told them to just forget it and leave it.In an effort to save on costs, we said we would do final painting of all new doors, windows and trim work installed by the crew. They did not leave most of the trim in paint ready form. We had to sand all of it prior to painting, and when they had to special cut trim to match what we already had, they didn't do a very good job. The edges were all left rough and square when the old trim was smooth and rounded.6 months after a new sliding glass patio door was completed, it was winter and one door panel fogged up from an apparent leak in the sealed glass. I called the owner, Joshua, who assured me there was a warranty on the product and if it wasn't covered, he guaranteed his work with a lifetime warranty so he would get it replaced at no cost to us. We agreed to wait until spring, when weather was warmer. Spring came and I never heard from him so I called and he assured me he would be out in a week or two to take care of it. Again, he didn't show up so I texted. Altogether I texted or called on a weekly basis for about 2 months and kept getting promises he would take care of it. He finally go irritated with me and said he would get to it when he could, he had a business to run and I was making a big deal out of it. I told him then the only reason I kept calling was because he kept telling me he would get it taken care of next week, in a week, etc.Finally in June of 2023, after 8 months of assurances he would take care of it, Josh replied to a text from me asking when he would get it fixed that he decided it wasn't his job to fix it. It was a product deficiency and I had to contact the store/manufacturer to ask them for a replacement. It wasn't his work that was deficient, but the product. He then told me if the store/manufacturer wouldn't install it I could HIRE him to put the new one in. I was totally flabbergasted and asked him why he told me for 8 months he would take care of it and all of sudden he decided not to. He has never answered that question.I would caution anyone to think twice about hiring this company.Service: Remodeling
