Cole and his team replaced my roof in August of 2023 because of hail damage. It was a smooth process from start to finish! He showed up on inspection day to meet with the adjuster and showed him his findings of hail damage. He took care of the communication between the insurance company and contractor. Within a few months we had an insurance paid roof. He helped me replace the soffit and facia on the house as well. Cole has high attention to detail and is very experienced! I would recommend him to anyone that is looking for a contractor!

We had a new kitchen/dining room/bathroom/entryway floor installed that included some baseboard woodwork as well.going into this project, we did read the reviews, gave it thought, and decided to go with Maverick. From the first moment, it was a positive experience. Ed came and talked with us and gave us a quote. We then talked to Jim (the project manager) who was kind, friendly, and professional and took the time to listen to us. We also had a small timing window we needed to work within as well and he was able to accommodate (which we know was not a guarantee, but still GREATLY appreciated.) We picked our flooring and the next week they got started.Nick and Jay were on site every day at the time they said they would. They did amazing work and the amount of attention to detail and knowledge Nick brought was outstanding. They truly did great work and you can see that in the quality of the product, they turned out in the end. All throughout the project, we had amazing communication with Jim and Nick in regard to what and when it is happening. Communication is big to me and it showed. I LOVE my new floor!Final thoughts; I'm sad I continuously listened to poor reviews that are three years old. Companies can change, learn and grow from the feedback and it looks to me, in our experience, that they have. Zero issues and I would work with them again.

Absolutely horrible service and no communication. Promised to be back to fix water leak damage. Returned one phone call and Greg said he planned to be out and would be in touch. After multiple phone calls and texts, I never heard from him. I wasted several weeks where I could have had the work completed. They were a “preferred contractor” by Liberty Mutual. But do not trust this contractor.

We went with Maverick Construction because our insurance company uses them for their claims. Ed came out in a timely manner and sent a quote to my insurance company. My insurance company cut Maverick a check one month later. We waited two and half months for them to come out and start the work. Ed had our signed contract sitting in his email for over three weeks, when I called about it they didn't even know they had it.The communication by the project manager was absolutely horrible. He was suppose to call me to set up a start date, he did not, he just set one up without my acknowledgement on the first day of school. I had to call him to find out date, I would have never picked the first day of school as i have three kiddos heading out the door. They never showed the first day and no phone call. I expected services several times where no one showed that day and no phone call. I stayed home from work several days because I thought workers were coming, no one came and no one called. When Kevin brought carpet samples all he brought was one kind of carpet, no floor samples for the bathroom. This project should have taken a week max, however 4 weeks later here we are. The guy they sent to do carpet in my basement did and absolutely horrible job. There are two seams showing, had to have another carpet guy come fix it and it is still not perfect. I'm giving them one star because some of the guys that came out did a nice job on some of the work. When the project was being worked on Kevin was suppose to stop in on a Monday and give me a second quote for them to do more work in our home aside from our insurance claim, he never came out that day and I still have not seen or heard from him. There has been no final walk through or phone call about the project work that was done, I have peeling paint in a bathroom, messed up carpet, they painted over holes in my wall without patching first, and they put the old door knob from my old door, on the new bathroom door that is brass and all the metal on the door is silver I would not use this company again, nor would i recommend them. This has been a very frustrating and disappointing experience to say the least!

**Spoiler alert: These guys are great!**We had a small flood in our kitchen that we contacted our insurance for. The damage ended up being quite extensive and we needed to get a contractor. USAA recommended Maverick to us, as they were a verified vendor. Like you, I read the reviews and was hesitant at first. The reviews are mixed, but I wasn’t sure if they were the right crew to go with. After meeting with Ed (estimator) I trusted my gut and we moved forward with them. I’m happy we did so, as their work was fantastic. We ended up doing quite a bit more outside of the scope of the repair, as we wanted to do some updates. Jim (Project Manager) was fantastic at keeping things on track, as well as answering any questions we had. If we texted him, we usually had a response in minutes. The team in the house included Nick, Nate and Tom. All three were polite, hard working, incredibly skilled at their trade. We have a house full of kids/dogs that due to Covid were forced to be home a lot during the construction. These guys did a great job getting the job done while working around us. We are incredibly satisfied with the work they did, we think you would be too.

They were recommended by our Insurance for a some water damage in our basement that required new ceiling, a wall, and call new carpet. They came out and basically took our adjustors quote and said it was good for them. It took a couple weeks for them to get out to start(which they disclosed ahead of time) but once they were their, they completed the project except for the carpet in a couple of days. Once the carpet was picked, we did have to wait several weeks, but mostly on the product to arrive from the factory. The were back in and out in two days with our furniture back in place. Looks great, friendly and hard working employees. Good communication while they were on the job site.

Maverick was our insurance preferred provider so we went with them since we trusted our insurance company. Wished I would have done my homework on this company. A job that should have taken no more than a month from start to finish took over 5 months.I have nothing negative to say about most of the sub-contractors, they did what they were asked to do. However, they always showed up with no guidance from the Maverick project manager. Maverick dropped the ball at every turn. The project manager was hard to reach, never showed up with the work order/estimate to know what work needed to be done, spoke to us like we knew nothing about remodeling or construction, we had to push to get him to start the project, harder to get him to finish the job, and I felt was not professional.Our project was very small I will admit, just a broken water heater flooding of part of a finished basement. Maverick was quick to get out and give the estimate to send to insurance company. The project manger on the other hand kept making excuses about why they hadn't started and many times even asked us to get materials for the job so he didn't have to. The carpet layer showed up not knowing what they were suppose to do. He just said Maverick asked them to come do a job without any guidance. Had they been give proper instruction they would have had all the equipment they needed to do the job but they didn't so we had to help them improvise to get the job complete. Doors had to be rehung because they were not installed properly. The project manager tried to tell us that they had to be installed this way due to low basement ceilings. (not the truth) He just didn't want to have to buy new doors. They were only replacing 3 so I had proof they were not hung properly.I would suggest that if you have to use Maverick that you get everything in writing to include start dates, finish dates and dates for when every step should be completed. Also, no verbal agreements or changes, get it in writing, especially if the project manager is telling you anything different than what has been written. The office staff is very nice I have nothing negative to say about them, my issues were with our project manager and him alone.

Esteban and Francisco were the guys called out of the job by Maverick Construction to make my home whole again and I could not be more happy with their efforts. They were both extremely professional, kind, intelligent, passionate and hardworking individuals while working on my property. They communicated with me very well during the entire process and finished the job quicker than anyone else could have based on my prior years of construction experience. Not only was the job executed quickly, but the work was still done VERY WELL. I highly recommend Maverick Construction and especially Esteban and Francisco. If these two show up you will NOT be disappointed! THANK YOU!

Had our basement floor redone after some water damage. The installation process was excellent and they did a great job! Communication before the install was lacking and I had to call several times to get an answer for install dates and knowing about the process. In addition, we wanted to continue the new floor into our basement bedroom and requested a quote for this (knowing this is not covered by insurance). I've sent 5 emails to the estimate person (Ed) and I haven't heard back from them. Not even an acknowledgement of the email. Even if they cannot do the work, they could at least respond. Communication is the key and this company lacks it.

There would be 0 stars if this were an option. Without going into extensive detail, Maverick was a "preferred contractor" set up through insurance. Their professionalism and communication is non-existent, their services were poor, and had there not been attention to detail, they would have been paid thousands of dollars for work that was not ever completed.I truly feel bad for anyone that has had to work with them.

We had a big storm and a tree fell on a part of our garage with minimal damage. Our insurance company linked us with this company and within an hour someone was out and helped fix our problem. He was kind to our kids and efficent. I would recommend them again.

Same outcome as many other reviewers. Insurance company recommended them, they gave a me a quote (and missed some major repairs needed on it) and then never came back to do any of the work even after numerous phone calls.
