A great place to take the family for a weekend trip. Have all kinds of things to see. We had a great time. The kids loved all the animals. Only complaint, parking could be better.

Do not give this place your business. They allow the sell of backyard breeders of unhealthy puppies and kittens. Saw it first hand. These hillbillies bring thier dogs and cats, shove them in dirty and unsanitary crates in the mud. There is no animal control overs seeing this. It looks like some 3rd world country dog cat market. People would rather give these sellers thier money than rather adopt from a shelter or rescue. It's all about making a buck.

Me and my husband love going to first Monday when we can, since we work weekends. We like going to get out the house. You can kind some cool stuff there. But now it’s mostly just food now. Wish it would go back to how it used to be years ago.

Visited from Nashville TN. I did not expect the horrors that I witnessed. This place was hell on earth for animals. I cannot believe this is legal in American. It felt like I walked into a third world country. Animals, dogs, cats, livestock all shoved into small cages. Dirty or no water. Some in obvious need of immediate vet care. This was heartbreaking to see. Shame on whoever is in charge of this flea market for allowing this to continue.Edit to add to your response...if you can morally and ethically support the treatment and sale of these animals in this manner it speaks volumes about your character. I understand that about 70% plus of your vendors are animal sales so money is likely the main factor here for you. It's sad that innocent animals are suffering at the expense of your greed. Just because the law says this is ok does not make it ok. Have some standards and morals for yourself.

Ok. If you're into flea markets and junkin and just looking to spend a day rummaging around.Parking and traffic management leaves a lot to be desired.

Wow! Can not believe a place like this still exists! It has everything you could possibly need or want from tools, to kid's stuff, to household items. Think of this as a multiple family garage/yard sale venue mixed in with regular vendors. There are also animals like chickens, dogs, and rabbits for sale.We also enjoyed the many different food offerings.

Today was a hot day. There were hand made things there, resellers, ammo, clothing, electronics, etc. and real Mexican food.

Literally an outdoor Mexican restaurant. Every booth. Hardly no vendors anymore. The ones there were selling overpriced junk. $31 for three corndogs and one lemonade!!! Wont be back. Worse flea market I've ever visited. And should be ashamed of the poor animals out in the heat!! PETA needs to make a visit. Matter of fact I just sent them a complaint. Surely they will investigate.Reply to your comment. I guarantee there is more than 18 Hispanic vendors there. Guarantee. And you all have been in so much trouble for the humane treatment of animals its unreal. Your reply was a waste of time!!! I've been here I've seen it with my own eyes. All about money!!

My family and I absolutely love going to Ripley's first Monday. It has been a family shopping haven for many years offering any and everything you could possibly imagine and more.

We had a great time, there's definitely something for everyone there. I wouldn't suggest going during summer like we did, it was 105°. If you do remember to bring an umbrella to block the Sun and plenty of water. As far as the market goes it was as good as a flea market could be and I will definitely be going back

If you ever have an opportunity to visit First Monday, take it. There's a lot of choices of merchandize and the people are friendly. We didn't buy anything because I went to see if I could find any chicks. No such luck. I gave them a 3 star rating because the animals, (bunnies , chickens, dogs, turkeys, and quail) were in the direct sun and a lot of them were suffering because of it. We said something to the sellers that had animals panting. It broke my heart seeing the fur and feathered babies having such a hard time.

Pretty crowded lots of vendors, amazing finds ,something for everyone.Theres tons of food trucks American and Hispanic foods. A LOT of products that vary from pets to household items even tools for work.Bathrooms could be a bit bigger and have some sort of AC especially during this heat wave. Also vendors were all over the place to the point that there was large gaps of just space. If they could have a large building built like a roof or something to block the sun it would be amazing .Other than that great experience lots of walking and sun. Make sure you have a hat or a umbrella to protect from the sun because it hits hard !

We love to go here. It costs $3 to park. Like everywhere else, the prices are a bit higher decent selection of items in the booths. It's nice to get out and walk around outside and look around to see what they have. Wear old shoes. Sometimes muddy and other times it may be quite dusty. All and all we had a nice day. It was a good place to be outside and shop.

We stopped by and walked all through the market. It is about as random as it can get. I did not expect the number of and types of animals that were present. Seemly most of the food stalls are Hispanic flavored with all sorts of tamales, chips, corn, etc. There is a sit down restaurant serving Americana in the center. Three is a cash only $3 entry fee. Parking seems plentiful.
