I visited this location and worked with Mark to order a replacement door. Mark was unbelievably helpful and asked questions we had not considered. He even helped us stay in our budget. I highly recommend them. The door was delivered on schedule and fit perfectly.

After being a repeat customer of Cardinal building supply again i ordered $4000 worth of material. it was delivered to my property in a timely manner the problem is the delivery guy's damaged some product that I already had there sitting on the site. to get there truck back further they threw this product over to the side damaging it. I then called Cardinal building supply to let them be aware of the situation and that they needed to replace the pieces that were damaged, they completely took the side of the delivery guys without even hearing my side of the facts basically calling me a liar over $150 worth of product and then hanging up on me. I was shocked and could not believe they would act this way to any customer .I am a home builder and I will NEVER do business with cardinal again. the fact that they are willing to loose a customer over something as this tells you enugh about themselves.

This place is horrible. The date is 9-4-16. I'm at there front door as we speak and it says right in the window that the store opens at 8 and closes at 12 on Saturdays. Well it's 8:22 am and there is know one here. There are three cars here in the lot, but all the lights on the inside are out so I don't know if there in there sleeping or what. This is the third time I've used them because they are open on Saturday, but if anyone wants a real supply store go to ABC supply where there about business. Oh an I didn't wanna give them one star it won't go off the screen.

Great customer service, always have what we need in stock, never have to wait for items, my only complaint is that they're not located closer to the west side of things like Wentzville St Charles O'Fallon and St Peters but it's well worth the drive especially since they're open on Saturday.

I can't believe they solicit there customers to pay cash and offer a 2% discount to do so but when you come back with materials to return they tell you we don't pay out anything over $70.00 ***Hello*** You owe me $116.00 -and can't pay it?!?!?! 1 sq of shingles cost $74. siding $110. and now I have to wait 4 weeks for a refund??? I call after a week to ask why and Todd says we don't keep enough cash on hand to pay refunds over $70. AGAIN HELLO you solicit cash payments where did the cash go? Then after I complain Todd says I need to take my business elsewhere... LOL NO KIDDING! The intelligence and business practice here amazes me!

Very slow service. The warehouse workers are so spacy it's rediculaous. I would love to say it's because I was there early in the he morning but I was there in the afternoon and they're the same so I'm not sure what the problem is. It's not like this at the other locations.

Its Saturday and the website says they close at noon. I live in South County and AM driving to Cardinal my GPS says I will get there at 11:58. I called to let them know I was coming and we'll get there right before they close but no one answered I got a recording. I sure would hate to think that I drove to get what I need and they are close before noon. I will let you know what happens. Well I got there at 1155 am and the place was a ghost town. I read the reviews on the way there. I thought to myself these reviews are not good. then I thought I will write a great review if they're open. so this is my review and this is what I think of Cardinal building supply in Bridgeton Missouri. they suck! do not go to Cardinal building supply in Bridgeton Missouri . I am a contractor and I know a lot of other contractors and trust me I will tell them all do not go to Cardinal building supply in Bridgeton Missouri. There are plenty of other places to get materials from and I will definitely be going to those other places so you can take your chances with Cardinal or you can go to another supplier that actually treats our customers and potential customers in a professional manner. Another thing if you want to edit your review you can't edit the stars you've already pushed I give them 0 stars. And if they had a negative star they get that

This is not a review, I know this has been Cardinal Building Materials for a long time, but I think it is neat that this building has a past as well, it was the old Dolgin's Store....glad to see that Cardinal has taken pretty good care of the old place!

Turned away because I was not a contractor, Cardinal would not even look at my cracked window that i had the tags still on. Cardinal would not order replacement glass even though it was bought through them when my house was remodeled. I will not be using them again for any construction projects with any of my future contractors.
