If you are not concerned with building codes or inspections or getting a itemized contract were the costs are actually held to, than yes you have found your contractor. I do know that in Texas county there are no inspections or permits etc… but that is not something to take advantage of. Once you are told or shown the proper way to frame a house per code and advanced building techniques for energy savings etc… and you still choose not adopt them , is that how a so called professional builder business owner should treat customers? That is the exact opposite of integrity and sustainability. Cutting corners to boost profits is not fair to customers and other businesses who choose to do things correctly. I have been a licensed contractor and business owner for 26 years. Since moving to Missour I have met many wonderful people and they should get what their hard earned money pays for. Please get multiple references from people who have had actual homes built not just a deck or some tiled floors. See what those customers have to say about their experience. I have not included any details but will if there is any insinuation that I have spoken untruthfully. If you have had a good experience I am happy for you. To everyone have a great day.

Oliver Amick and his crew really deserve more than five stars. Amick Construction did a few projects for us including remodeling a bathroom and tiling my kitchen floor. We have an older farm house and working on the house isn't always the easiest given that not all the walls are straight, etc. Oliver was able to handle the imperfections of the house and now I have a perfect bathroom and kitchen. The work quality was exceptional. Oliver is dedicated to his craft and it shows. Tile is laid perfectly. The crew even came back on a Saturday morning just to finish a project. I cannot say enough positive things about this crew. To top it off, Oliver is a great person too, wholly devoted to his friends and family. I have more projects at my home and anticipate hiring Oliver again. I would highly recommend Amick Construction.

Amick Construction has done an awesome job on every project they have done at our house! The hardwood floors are beautiful and the new vaulted porch is STUNNING!!! They were professional, courteous and fun to work with!! We would highly recommend Oliver, Jordan and their crew!! I hired Amick Construction to frame, side, and roof my house. Then a year later they built a garage for me. Oliver knows what he is doing and will do it right. The crew are very courteous and kept the mess to a minimum during construction and cleaned up entirely when done. I am pleased.

This guy will not give you the time of day if you aren’t a gazillionaire. Businesses, especially construction, should not be able to turn down clients needing homes just cause we aren’t spending 100,000$+ dollars… but that’s apparently the pathetic reality we live in.Service: Building design
