Would highly recommend John Beal and his team for all roofing requirements. They are fast, professional, very responsive (which wasn't the case with other roofing companies we tried to get quotes/work with), and charge much less than others. After they completed an initial roof repair job for me, I was so impressed, I had them do some masonry repairs on a chimney. I was equally impressed. I will definitely be working with the again next time I need anything done on my roof. Definitely would recommend them to others.

Great job getting the roof on the house. Even with one of the guys putting his foot through the ceiling in the kitchen, it was repaired the next day and the finish sanding the day after. Gutters were installed the following week. 6" with the 3 x 3 downspouts look so much better than the old ones. Should handle any downpours we have now easily.

This is for hard-working people that’s going to spend their money on a new roof. Do not use John Bill roofing you will have nightmares they use the cheapest quality roofing you will have leaks in less than a year shingles will fly off your roof. They tell you that you get a warranty for 50 years. None of that matter. Once they get your money you just took a lost I promised to everyone that read this message, if you use John Bell roofing you will have nightmares They ripped me off, do not let them rip you off Phil hogan is a thief that works with this company It’s so sad that you spend so much money with them and they scam you. I called the office and I told him about my situation. They asked for my name in my address and they told me that they give me a call back never got a call back I called them back again. They asked me for my name and address again wants to know who I was. They hung up the phone on me same thing with their sales person, he will promise you call back, then block you .

horrible customer service. John from this team keep ignoring me. Never calls or emils back. they delayed my roof repair more than 6 months now. they still dint respond. I always get auto response saying they are in meeting currently. Never saw such a bad customer service.I want to give 0 rating to this company.

John Beal roofing is a long time St Louis business. They have a good system to know what work they have done as well as if it's still covered under their warranties. They have done roof, flashing, skylight repairs and replacement jobs for us many times. They are my go-to for any roofing issues.

I wouldn't let this company put a roof on my dog house. I was told they would not use a conveyer to put the shingles on my roof because of the type of structure I live in. The first thing the crew done when they got here was carry them up a ladder and slam them down onto my roof. When the job was supposed to be done there was enough "felt" left over to do half of my roof. They did not put it on. After a three week fight they admitted wrong doing and replaced my roof again. They also did replace gutters they damaged. This all should have never happened in the first place. The fart fan began making noise and cost me $200.00 to replace. Found out it had 7 roofing nails in it.

John Beal replaced our roof, gutters and fascia in December 2021/January 2022. Workers were not the cleanest and we had a mess to clean up but I was ok with that. Fast forward to our current situation. During the July 26th rain we had water pouring in the top floor down to the main floor through a light fixture and down to basement. We called John Beal to come fix whatever caused leak and expected them to pay for water damage on inside of house. Roofer came out to check on issue. Of course he didn’t speak English and his T-shirt had the name of a different roofing company. He went on roof. The leak occurred on dormer part of house. The gutter on that side did not have a hole cut out like on other side. He took gutter down cut a bigger opening Lifted up some shingles did some caulking and other metal work and rehung gutter. Did a “water” test by holding hose on roof for about 5 mins. Said everything is now fine. Keep in mind the left dormer gutter had a hole cut out and had no issues. John Beal is saying that they will not pay for water damage on inside of house because it was caused by normal gutter over flow. How could it be normal if gutter had no hole cut Had they properly installed gutter it would not hav happened. It was their faulty workmanship that caused the overflow and interior damage. On top of that they are not the easiest people to get a hold of. And after talking to other people we have found many people who have had issues with John Beal and would not recommend them. I inherited a house from my grandfather when he passed, it needed a lot of work including a new roof. I was on a very tight budget and I knew that a new roof may not be feasible. I called John Beal and a salesman by the name of Greg looked at my roof and skylights. He went over all the options available including styles and colors. He was very upfront on the cost and told me that custom skylights were my best option since mine were so old and leaky. To my surprise everything was very affordable! Greg suggested storm cloud colored shingles saying that it would make my house stand out and he was right it looks amazing. The install went smoothly. A short time later two of my family members had hail damage from a recent storm, I was able to refer them to John beal and received a nice referral incentive. Greg was assigned to them as well and he worked with insurance, everything was covered except for their deductible. Very convenient. Thank you John Beal Roofing!

Tim March was always there to answer my questions, and help understand the process. Along with Tara Dixon on the other side scheduling material delivery, and the crew to do the work. Straight scammers, the whole John bill roofing company specially Phil one of their sales specialists once they get your money and put on the cheapest quality roofing I guarantee everybody that gets a roof from them Shingles will start blowing away in less than a year and your roof will start leaking They tell you that you got a 10 year and a 15 year warranty oh that is a lie once they get your money they do not care about you They promise you callbacks, that will never happen Then you call back to the office Thay ask you for your house address and your name then they’ll start hanging the phone up on you rude and disrespectful company, straight thieves they got me do not let them get you.

First off, I just want to say that I love my new roof. Overall, I would give John Beal Roofing a 4-star rating. However, the Account Manager, Dan Pulley, gets 5 stars because not only was he very responsive to my needs, responding to my calls and e-mails promptly, he even came to my home a second time to explain everything in his bid compared to another company’s bid. My project manager, on the other hand, left something to be desired. The roof was scheduled for installation on a Wednesday. It was then rescheduled for that Friday. When the crew didn’t arrive on Friday, I called the project manager who then informed me that the roof was rescheduled for Saturday. Such a lack of communication. When several issues came up with regards to the roof installation on Saturday (most importantly, the lack of protection of my new air conditioning unit, which I had discussed at length with Dan and the project manager previously), I placed a phone call to Dan, who responded immediately and talked to the crew about the issue. Unfortunately, the crew “protected” the a/c unit with some pieces of foam rubber laid on top of the a/c unit which eventually blew off, resulting in several roofing nails getting into the a/c unit. Other than that, the crew did a good job of cleaning up the area. If you are considering using John Beal I would strongly recommend asking for Dan Pulley, as he answers his phone calls and emails promptly.Service: Roof installation

We were very pleased with the work John Beal did on our cedar roof replacement. Vincent Pavia stayed with us from the original estimate to the final inspection. Initially, his persistence helped our insurance company better understand its responsibilities. He attended to small but important issues, like compatible coverings for bay window roofs. He recommended useful add-ons, like solar powered vents, and made sure they were installed properly. A JBR rep has had my insurance claim information since 8/23/23 and was supposed to be contacting them regarding the payout I received because she found more damage to my roof than the insurance inspector did. I've reached out to her on multiple occasions and it takes her up to a week to respond, if she responds at all. She always says she's still working with them and it's just taking some time. I talked to my claims adjuster today and he told me that no one from JBR has contacted State Farm regarding my claim. Almost 2 months have gone by, my roof is still getting damaged from the weather, and now I need to find a new contractor before it gets too cold out. Just a waste of my time.Service: Roof inspection

When we met with Phil Hogan from John Beal Roofing, he immediately met our needs, and more! Not only was he very knowledgeable with his products, but he gave us a price we couldn't turn down, and also was able to get our roof going in a more than timely manner! In a few short weeks, we had a new beautiful roof! Once it was on, Phil made it a point to even stop by to see it in person! A few months later, my husband and I decided that we needed new windows to go with our new roof.
