We are so incredibly grateful to Arne homes for building our dream home. We knew from the moment we stepped foot in a Arne display that what they could deliver would be unique, but most important we knew that they would build us an oasis that really felt like home. After four prior builds, we wanted a home that lended itself to every inch having function (no empty space) and each room having its own sense of character. I am proud to say that the warmth and the functionality are two things that we get the most comments on from those that have come to visit. Arne was incredibly thoughtful throughout the design process keeping us in budget while also managing to our highest expectations. They were quick to level set our expectations while also offering ideas we would not have thought of. From room colors to lighting this house has all the touches that bring it to life.The functionality of an Arne home is unmatched from a pocket office with view of the bus stop for mom who works 60+ hours a week to a coffee bar complete with pellet ice for kids practices and games. The room that gets the most love is certainly the four seasons patio complete with stunning fireplace where all the family gathered to watch MIZ over Thanksgiving holiday. Can’t forget the perfectly placed window over the sink that passes through food and easy to open! We had an ask for in-law suite and they delivered, accommodating aging parents with a walk in shower, seat and floor lighting. The kids room boasts lively colors (picked by them) and a loft study zone perfectly equipped with all the outlets for school computers, iPads and gaming AND the upstairs has a bonus closet perfect for storing all the extras for the kiddos! This house is a showstopper but more importantly it’s personal to us. It is a home we never want to leave and want to pass down for generations. We are grateful to Arne for brining the dream to life and for loving the home as much as we do!

Julia,I apologize that we did not respond sooner! Cathy and I have these positives about Arne Homes:1. If we were going to build another home, we would build with the Arne's! We do not miss our old home because we love our new Arne Home!2. We loved working with Jay and Tammie Arne! We also loved working with Kyle, Kim, Brandi and Paul! Awesome people of integrity!3. If we ever had an issue, the Arne's would make it right!4. Great communication! They always responded in a timely fashion if we had a question or a concern!5. They have always made us feel like we were important to them, not just another customer! We consider all of them friends!If we had any suggestions for improvement, it would be in the area of the paint job. However, as we understand from another employee, this has been rectified. Arne Custom Homes built/completed our new home in June 2021. This was our first experience with a custom home on our own lot as well as a construction loan. I first want to say we love our home and we would never question using them again. I would make sure that you keep a close eye on budget, as it was my first experience and I had a bad assumption they would drive all the communication about the budget and it seemed to get out of control before I could grab it back. Factors included Covid, materials costs going up quickly and again my lack of experience. I will say Arne is ethical and honest, and they did what they could to help soften the overage. Their business was booming at the time and they were also trying to figure out all the adjustments due to increased material costs and the high demand for contractors. I loved how involved the designer was with us at the beginning, however there was not much involvement once the touches started to come into the house, I think the location of our lot was some of that as well as high demand. At the end of the day, they have wonderful craftsman homes and a good work ethic, and that is what is important.
