I normally don’t leave reviews, but I want to spare someone a horrible experience. Communication was difficult.I was very clear in what needed to be done. Asked me to sign off on things and then I would see it wasn’t done. Charged us for things I never asked for. We had to explain what we wanted done over and over.Broke the tile floor in the bathroom and then replaced that tile we had chosen with laminate wood planks without telling us. It was obviously material left over from another job, and they acted they they did us a favor.Left a ridiculous mess in the place that took us forever to clean up. Grout on our walls, floors, etc. Garbage, materials, and mud laying around.Honestly, it felt like I wasn’t taken seriously so I started asking my husband to do all the communication. Hire someone else.

Steven Watson was such a pleasure to work with during Paris Gibson Square Museum of Art Attic Bat Mitigation/ clean-up project. He was communicative, consistent, professional, kept a positive attitude and kept his crew working. There were multiple leads on the project in the beginning, but Steven Watson came in the last 2.5 weeks and managed the project beautifully. He was thorough, cared about what he was doing, and took great care of the historic structure. I was able to communicate and meet with him daily and he just wanted to please the museum by doing the best possible job that he could do. This was a huge project and Day Spring completed it beautifully!

Atrocious. A few years ago we had a propane fireplace blow up, and it coated every room in the house with Greasy, black soot. They did such a piss-poor job the first time, they had to come back EIGHT more times after. To boot, they only did the living room, the kitchen, and the two adjacent rooms, and even worse, they didn't move ANY furniture. The tops and backs of the drapes were all still black, so they literally only did what was visible. The carpets were done TWICE, because the first time was done so badly that the soot was still sticking to our feet just by existing on it. We still, today, find spots of grease, soot and ash around the house. They may have changed since then, but I and my family will never use their service ourselves again.

They were very slow at all stages of mitigation and restoration. I had to keep encouraging them to finish their job. It took 10 months to complete the repair. I would still be waiting for them to finish it, if I didn’t hire my own people to finish the job. They were just full of excuses.

This has been the worst experience with a contractor in my life! 18 months later we are still dealing with Dayspring. It took over 14 months to get our repairs done, some not up to professional standards, with no compensation for the fact we had to pay for two entire households while they took there time getting our repairs done. They even pulled the contractor they provided, off our job to work on other peoples job because, we were told, "They would have to stay in a motel". Now because they have still not provided the proper paperwork to the insurance for payment, we are receiving threatening letters. Matt Engle went above and beyond for us! Truly a treasure at Dayspring! He was professional, communicated with us and really listened to our needs and helped with issues that weren't even in his department. Matt is 5 stars hands down. The 4 star review is simply because some of the other people we dealt with lacked in communication with us and didn't assist well in dealing with insurance. Overall we are pleased with the work that was done in our home and grateful for the help!

We came home from a two week trip on a Sunday to a broken and spraying kitchen pipe. I called several mitigation companies and Dayspring was the only one who said they could come that same day.Working with them, they were professional, communicative, respectful, and timely. A special shout out to Nate and his contents team for going above and beyond to make sure our belongings were well taken care of and cleaned out in an organized way. If you need someone to be a A+ person. Get Matt Engle, short version dude is on top of it. Matt personally did so many things for us that wasnt his job. I owe a ton of graditude and appreciation to Matt. For a day in time where customer service is dying Matt still makes it his top priority. The 4 star is simply because some of the communication and execution from other employees lacked. At the end of the day Matt was a superb professional and got things done! Our basement is back to pre disaster condition. He oversaw the project like he was your own brother helping you. Whereas some folks werent as understanding as Matt he made it right every step of the way. I highly recommend him!

Initial contact was good, but from that time forward it was unprofessional and disappointing! Dayspring is strongly focused on keeping equipment deployed for far too long to augment their billing! Overall a great experience with Dayspring. We caught them at a busy time, but they were very communicative along the way. Everyone was professional and provided quality services. Matt Engle was our foreman for the reconstruction phase and I feel it's worth publically recognizing him for his commitment to customer service. He went above and beyond during the entire process. Dayspring did a fantastic job with the restoration of my leaking roof deck and front porch. From demolition to final painting and caulking, the team was incredibly professional, prompt, and easy to work with. The job lead, Russ Lamont, was absolutely wonderful. He checked in with me each morning and evening and demonstrated incredible attention to detail throughout the process. Our experience was very positive. We worked with a number of Dayspring employees throughout the mitigation and “reconstruction” of our guest bathroom. We found all of the employee’s to be competent, friendly and very responsive to our needs and questions.One individual of particular note is Matt Engle. Matt served as the construction lead on our project. He is extremely professional! Matt is very skilled. He takes pride in his work and sets a high standard for himself. They came out exactly when they said they would to give me an estimate and gave me the estimate when they said they would. Thank you Sam. Steven called ahead and told me when he would be here. Russ and Jacob came on time every day and were very pleasant, efficient, and did exceptional work. Russ completed the job alone and came every day on time, did excellent work and cleaned up the entire area each day before he left. Sam has gone to bat for me regarding insurance problems. My basement recently flooded and Dayspring was promptly at my home when I called on a Sunday night. Chris and Nick first came and they were very efficient, professional and friendly. Also during the week and a half of mitigation, Isaac, Jeb, and Sean came to monitor and resolve any further issues, again beings very professional, efficient, and friendly. When I had questions Jen Ferris in the office and Mark McDiffett and Steven were all great. We had a small kitchen fire. All of the Dayspring personnel I encountered were professional, courteous, and demonstrated a good work ethic while working in my home. I would recommend them for restoration work. Steve Bunyak ran point, did a great job. Sam Fletcher and Cody Tripp were lead guys on construction and restoration work, along with Joe Mann and younger fellow (Cody?) were great to work with. The cleaning crew Mandi B., Evan H.(?), Marcelia W. were thoughtful and sensitive to our requests. Isaac and his crew were absolutely amazing. The previous tenants left the house in terrible shape, and we were hoping to sell the home but the odors from past tenants animals and a septic backup made things look bleak. Dayspring came in and took care of everything. We were out of state and never had one problem coordinating the work with them, and it was obvious from the beginning that they worked with such integrity and skill. Honestly, it was so obvious they really cared! We had a water pipe leak behind a wall. Discovered on Saturday evening, turned off water till Monday. Call Dayspring first thing Monday and they were able to send two men right away. They start by getting a $500 deposit, and seem more interested if you have insurance. Never got any estimate of cost. The workers I met were very nice and did their job well. They were able to isolate the leak after removing some sheetrock. A plumber whom they work with was able to come and repair the pipe and all done before noon. Dayspring brought in fans and dehumidifier to run. The area was checked for the next 3 days on moisture still in the sheetrock. It was determined to remove to additional saturated sheetrock and prepped for the restoration crew. I was told the restoration crew would be contacting me and scheduling an estimate and repair. After not hearing from them for a month, my thought was the job was to small for them to care and decided I would not continue with their services. I visited their office and asked for an itemized bill for their services. Was told my folder was next in line to be worked on. After one more week, I called again for the bill. I finally got the bill and paid it.I'll not use their services ever again.Service: Water damage-related cleanup & repair

Dayspring came through when we were facing mold during a time sensitive estate sale right after the passing of my Dad. Justin was responsive and gave me guidance and scheduled us in. It was Justin that gave me confidence that it would work out. Chris, Isaac, and Michael were friendly, professional, worked great together, and were thoroughly awesome at what they do with mold mitigation. Dave Hinckley was on time at scheduling the work and additional trades who worked at the house. Great communication by all of them.
