Great little spot for food. Amazing Breakfast, Omelet, hashbrowns, toast, Bacon, biscuits, and gravy, French toast and cinnamon roll. We woke up hungry. The portions were massive. Was not prepared for how much food we got. Price was normal, but you get your money's worth. Was busy so that was a good sign from the start. Got our food pretty fast. Staff was great and nice. We will be back.

We were passing by and decided to stop and have lunch here with our young kids. Food was your typical fried food with a daily special. Service was okay, nothing great. Here is where we had a problem. The guy in the kitchen was dropping the F bomb every other word. We had 2 young kids that could hear everything coming from that kitchen. They also have a child (maybe 8 years old) working there, hearing every F bomb. If you are looking for a family-friendly restaurant, drive straight past this place, and do not stop.

If you are looking for a very American town breakfast place, this is it!!!Established in 1952, this café has been serving traditional real breakfast for a long time.Tasty food, coffee is top up regularly by a very attentive and gentle lady. I really enjoyed being there.They might need to keep an eye on tidying it up a little bit, but it's great to be in a very traditional place for awesome breakfast!

Truckers SpecialHamburger steak, 2 eggs, hashbrowns and toast.Really good coffee!Real hamburger meat!It seemed to be cooked with added fat/grease...(it left a greasy feeling on my tongue) but the taste was good.The dining area is table only and very close to each other, making it elbow to elbow...too close for comfort for my taste...especially on a very busy day like today.Over all it's very homey and the breakfast was good.

We had the chicken fried steak special this Sunday for lunch and it was very good. Plenty of food for $9.95. Great homestyle cooking in small town Nebraska!

I ordered the chicken fried chicken the first time I visited there and fell in love with it! 🤗The following time I went, we ordered the same thing and the waitress rudely rejected the fact that chicken Fried chicken was even served there & brought out chicken fried steak.

Food and coffee were absolutely not at all good, I'm not sure what happened from the last owner to this one but it just wasn't rightThey use to have the best tasting coffee and I took one sip and didn't even drink the rest of the cup it had like a film over the top of it. The syrup was cold the bread for French toast was soggy in the middle I was by far the worst meal I have had. I wish I would have taken pics

We had fast and friendly service for a late lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. All our meals were delicious - chicken nuggets withfries, grilled ham & cheese, and chicken sandwich. They took less time to be made and served than some recent fast food orders. This cafe was a great find on our way through Alma.Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu.

Doesn’t look like much from outside, a little dated, but food was really awesome! We had the chicken fried steak skillet with hash browns smothered with home made gravy then eggs on top along with a biscuit. It was a platter full of food for under $10! Staff was pleasant and food was out fast. They serve breakfast at same time as lunch but you have to get there before they close at 2 pm.

WOW NAILED IT!!!! I actually never went anywhere where my food was cooked to my liking!. I cant say that anymore, because my steak and eggs melted in my mouth.. the cooks did an exceptional job!! We were greater with a smile and we left with one as well!!!! THANK YOU!

Had the steak&eggs. 2 over medium, wheat toast, hash browns, steak medium. Breakfast was great. Shayla had h and cheese omelet, hash browns. She finished her plate so I suppose it was good.

The older waitress was so rude mind you was my first time eating there she had such an attitude I probably wouldn't go there again or recommend anyone else of my family and friends to visit this place just overall RUDE RUDE RUDE!!!!!!
