Looking through the reviews, it is interesting how some experiences deviate from mine. Very rarely, I run into someone that really seems to be interested in taking care of me. I almost always feel like people and companies are trying to take advantage of me.For months, my insurance company actively refused to replace my hail damaged roof. I already had two roofing companies come out to document damage when I reached out to JOE SHANKS with Pyramid roofing. He explained how the industry works and got me in touch with Rhino Public Adjusters. Literally, within 48 hours of receiving a letter from Rhino, State Farm claims approved my roof claim.I have never had a better experience with a business than I had with Joe Shanks, Pyramid Roofing, and Rhino Public Adjusters. I am so thankful I lucked into meeting Joe Shanks.The work was done professionally. Given the mess during the work, I could not believe how well they cleaned up before they left. I have a huge roof and I only found 3 nails and a couple small pieces of debris around the house.I think there are different teams and people you can call at Pyramid. You can trust Joe Shanks. Call him and you will not be. disappointed!

I wish I could give a better review, but unfortunately my experience prevents me from doing so. Starting in November and finishing in February (yes, it took that long?), we had new roofing and new siding put on our house. (To clarify, I live in a rental house and this was all organized by my landlord). During the installation process, the contractors parked in our yard, knocked off our hvac exhaust on the outside of our house resulting in it ventilating into our home instead of outside, damaged MANY items, and left a huge mess. If we received communication requesting we moved items, we would have gladly done so but no one said anything was in the way. After contacting the office multiple times requesting someone to come pick up the mess, someone finally came out and picked up a few items and left. As a result, we have spent days cleaning up our yard of nails, trash, foil, rusty razor blades, pieces of siding etc. We had to acquire our own magnet to clean up nails. It was all a truly disappointing experience.In the photos you’ll see various areas of trash and debris left behind, a basket showing what we picked up in JUST our flower beds (red basket and silver bin), the trash can shows all they came and picked up, the broken patio furniture + umbrella stand, ripped front door mat, broken porch caps.

We had a roof warranty replacement and Pyramid was extremely helpful in working through the warranty process and installing the roof. They took extra precautions to avoid water damage if storms were even a remote possibility. The attention to detail was top notch throughout the entire process. The crew was very courteous and answered any questions we had during the installation.

Had my roof and gutters replaced by Pyramid a few years ago. Woke up in the middle of the night to one of my gutters detaching from the house. Called Pyramid at 8:30 am and spoke with Matt. He was hoping to have someone get out to see it around 2. Dallas was able to get there at 10 and the gutter was replaced with downspout added by 3 PM. All with temperatures below freezing. Highly professional and amazing customer service.

I contacted Pyramid Roofing to request a small quantity of shingles for a feeding station I am building for homeless/community cats in my neighborhood. The CEO and Matt went out of their way to provide any and all materials that I needed free of charge as well as offering to help me build any future projects for animals in need. They responded to my request the same day I called. Matt explained Pyramid Roofing’s dedication to serving their community and animals in need. I was overwhelmed with their quick response, generosity and kindness. Pyramid Roofing also replaced our roof a few years ago and did a beautiful job. What a wonderful company! We used them for a roof replacement. This was an 11,000 dollar adventure I wish I could erase. Started out great nice salesmen. Job boss leftThe company before job was complete. We were to have our shingles delivered and installed on a Wednesday, my day off. Then we are told we got bumped for a friend. Shingles are sitting on my roof. Sent email and got my date back. Then we find out our sheeting has mold due to poor insulating of the roof. Vents were not done properly by homepride years before. My microwave was never vented. Ok so we have them fix the vents. Replace and replace the decking. They put baffles in the roof so it would vent properly and the house would have a better control of temperature. We have the workers a staple to attach them to the trusses. Well they didn’t do it. Installation was piled in the soffits. Called themTo fix it. One gentleman came and did what he could but they still needed to be stapled up. Called again they came and just piled everything back in the soffits and the roof is not breathing again. Oh and then I discover my roof is leaking in through the venting of my microwave. The cut the vent holes to big and didn’t cover them properly. Of course it blew my microwave up. Had to buy a new one. $550 later. Of course no offer to pay for that. So now almost 2 years later. My roof is still not vented correctly. So now my husband has to do up there and fix it. At 63 he should not have to do this. Not sure how they are best of Omaha. Will never recommend them to anyone.Services: Gutter installation, Roof installation

I reserve the right to change my rating. Pyramid has been rated Best of Omaha many years in a row. So I contacted them to see about a roof repair. They said they would be in touch in a few days. It's been (2) two weeks now. I'm hoping someone sees this and contacts me. I'm willing to give them a second chance. We shall see!

Pyramid Roofing did an outstanding job installing our new gutters in April 2022. We were cautious about this installation as we had the unfortunate experience of having our gutters replaced by another company less than a year ago. After excessive leaking and drainage issues, we found out the entire job could not be repaired and needed to be fully replaced. Nick, our Project Manager, was here to help. He and Ritchie did an outstanding job explaining why our gutters were not meeting our expectations and answering all of our many questions about how their installation would be better. They were able to complete the job quickly with no disturbance to our landscaping. The crew went above and beyond by touching up the paint on areas that were scratched when removing the problem gutters. After our previous horrible experience with the other company we were very pleased with all aspects of Pyramid Roofing – sales, installation and clean up. I wanted to share this, apparently 2 weeks ago someone said a staff member used racial slurs towards a mail carrier. I want to assure all of you, this did not happen! I am said carrier and I have had nothing but great experiences when I enter the building. The staff member mentioned in that false review has been more than nice and courteous towards me, has never raised her voice, in fact every time I’m there, a member smiles and welcomes me. The person who wrote this is most likely an ex employee, I’m sure I’d this happened to a carrier, I would have heard about it at the office. That review is false! The people here at the office have been nothing but nice and professional and courteous!

Pyramid replaced all of my siding and all of the eternal wood on my home. They also installed gutters and gutter shields. The crew was on time every day and did a great job of completing this project and cleaning up afterwards. Ambrose & Anthony were great to work with. Ambrose returned after the job was completed and went over my house from end to end. He found a few minor things that he wanted corrected and brought the crew back one afternoon to finish to his satisfaction. The last day of this installation of siding was the Friday we had the hard rains and high winds that uprooted trees everywhere in Omaha. Ambrose noted that rain was coming and got his gutter crew to arrive by 3:15PM that Friday to get gutters on my home. They worked until 9:15PM that night but finished the job. This saved my basement as the hard rains we had would surely have created flooding. I have had Pyramid replace a roof for me before and I was pleased with this work. I continue to be pleased with this massive siding job that was just finished. I would clearly recommend Pyramid for your home maintenance needs as they do good work and do what they say they will do for a fair price.Service: Gutter installation

I had called pyramid to have some shingle on the back of my house that have blown off. And when the salesmen Joe Shanks came out he also. Took photos and looked into the attic and went over and beyond and realized one of my exhaust vents was not hooked up and they gave me a very good deal on the repair for the shingles and just hooked up my vent for free , and the repair guy Cole was very professional and did a Awesome job and helped answer some additional questions I had about some things , they took care of me and just said to call them when I actually need a whole new roof. Ben McClelland from Pyramid (Omaha) spent over an hour getting a detailed inspection for us. He wrote up a very comprehensive bid. Though Pyramid wasn't the cheapest, neither were they the most expensive of the bids we received. But, I appreciated the fact that they spent way more time examining our roof than anyone else. And, their reputation of being the best roofers in Omaha carried a lot of weight with us. Their crew arrived at 7:00am and were finished by 7:00pm. The crew was respectful of our property and did an extremely thorough clean-up at the end of the job. Ben made follow-up calls and a couple inspection visits to make sure we were happy with the job. Pyramid's communication with us throughout the process impressed us. Time will tell on how well the roof stands up to time and weather, but I feel confident that our money was well spent and that our home is secure for many decades to come. Highly recommended.

Construction Crew very professional and efficient. Follow up for minor repairs quickly completed. Quality work, fast service at reasonable price. Pyramid is great company to work with. Update:We have been working with Pyramid to address our issues with the roof and all have been resolved. Mike Mills, the sales manager, was responsive and helpful to get the problems with the roof worked out.We started out in love with our new roof. Unfortunately, we’ve had seemingly nothing but trouble with Pyramid roofing since. We discovered a leak in our newly replaced roof after only 6 months. This stemmed from the wrong flashing being used on the edges of the roof. They said they’d be out the next day to take a look. To their credit, they were on time, friendly and owned up to the problem. They told us, due to the high volume of hail claims, that it would be 2 weeks before they could come and complete the warranty repair. I gave them two weeks before I called the warranty person who had come out to look at the problem. I didn’t get any response. After another week of calling with no response, I went into the office to speak with someone about our work order. I spoke with a sales manager; he called one of his crew members and said that they would be out later that week to complete the repair. We got through the entire week and no one came by. I spoke with the manager again and it was determined that there was a further issue that was complicating the repair. I understood and gave them time. I met again with the sales manager after another week to discuss the status of the repair. I thought we had agreed on how they would proceed and that it would be done before winter.After multiple calls and voicemails, I have not heard any response or estimate of when our repair will be completed. We’ve had a work order open for two months with no resolution. We will now be lucky to have the repair done before the spring.I want to give a better review to Pyramid because more often than not the staff have been friendly and accommodating. Overall, though, I am just disappointed.

We called pyramid roofing (along with a few other roofing companies) to help us take care of our roof after the late May hail storm. From the moment we contacted them they were nothing but helpful, professional, and incredibly fast. We had a baby coming and when we expressed the need to our project manager, Dan, to have the project complete before the baby arrived, there was no hesitation. The crew that came out was incredibly efficient and had the job done within a day!Dan did a fantastic job of being our advocate with our insurance company-got the entire project, including code updates, easily covered for us. We originally started with another company and they barely showed up for the estimates and definitely did not provide any assistance with our insurance.Very happy with the results!

I'd advise you to look anywhere else besides Pyramid if you need roofing work. After a hail storm smashed up our roof, I called Pyramid. Every day or two for next couple weeks, their salesman called and e-mailed me asking when we could sign a contract. After meeting with him and hearing a very well rehearsed and "too good to be true" sales pitch, we signed a contract and handed over a large check. I asked when the roof would be done and the sales guy said we'd hear from someone in a couple days and we'd be scheduled and done in two weeks. Our check was cashed two days later, but we never heard from the sales guy or anyone in their scheduling or insurance offices ever again. We called repeatedly and were told, "We'll have someone call you tomorrow." Six weeks later, we were told that they couldn't get shingles. They signed more contracts than they could handle, knowing they couldn't get supplies or crews to do the work. I brought that point up to one of their upper management and they didn't do anything other than state, "That's just how it is." By that point it was mid-October and we asked them to cancel the contract or be held in breech. They did and we had the roof replaced in less than two weeks by a much more competent roofer.

A Pyramid Roofing representative came to my house to give me an estimate for cedar shake tear-off and composite roof replacement. Came on Thursday and said I would get an estimate the next day. Never heard from the guy again. Got estimates from three other roofers and ended-up going with Meridian Roofing Solutions. I recommend you do the same!

Pyramid was excellent. We had roof and gutter damage from a hail storm. Ben McClelland was our guy and he did such a good job. He crawled all over our roof and in the attic to put my mind at ease. Nervous about color matching, he had samples and recommended a few addresses to look at to compare the whole roof. We had a few issues pop up, with any large project, and he ensured everything was perfect before receiving our invoice. Very happy with the products and service!

I had a leak in my roof and I contacted Pyramid Roofing based on the excellent ratings. I called and was told that a roofing contractor would call and set up a time to inspect my house shortly. I waited a week and was not called back, so I called again and was told that I would be contacted shortly. I waited 2 more days and received no response. I then called a third time (mind you my roof had leaked two more times since my initial call) and I got an appointment time set up for the roofer to come out and inspect my roof. However, the roofer never showed! It was on a Saturday and I called Pyramid and left a voice message and was never called back. I basically wasted 2 weeks waiting for them to come and look at my roof while it was leaking. I called another company and the contractor was at my house the next day. Pyramid may do good work, but if you can't get them to service your house when you have a problem, it doesn't matter how good of work they do.

He even met my insurance adjuster at my house to help point out damage. He made replacing my roof an easy process and the work looks great. Joe Shanks and Pyramid Roofing performed flawlessly. In any sales agreement, one has to have the fear removed and the trust instilled in a sales relationship.Given the May 2019 SW Omaha hailstorm, I knew there were many local companies to work with and I know the insurance carrier had "their company" to work with. I did the proper thing and had the insurance recommended company come out and conduct a roof inspection and estimate was also provided. The rep started saying he would place a sign in the yard and this would be equal to our deductible. I thought to myself really, knowing how high our deductible was. I let him do his thing after all he was representing the insurance carrier. I wasn't extremely confident in this person and his company, and he was the owner!Then, I had Joe Shanks from Pyramid Roofing come over and he never talked deductible, he did his audit as well and wanted to sit down and talk about why Pyramid Roofing is the #1 Choice of Omaha. He reviewed the materials, staff, pre-work and post work followup. When he provided his estimate he worked with our insurance carrier to ensure every aspect of the roof was reviewed with the insurance adjuster, nothing went unchecked. The work crew was very organized and cleaned up everything, all nails in the yard and the driveway and walkway and the flower beds as well. Nothing was left in the yard. The next day Joe came by to ensure everything was completed and that we were thoroughly satisfied. Joe even wanted to say that if there was any concerns or issues to call him and he will have it resolved immediately.Roofing companies come and go, just as the storms come and go, but Pyramid Roofing answered the call and backed up the reason why they are Omaha's Number 1 Roofing company.
