I wish I would have started off with South O Roofing to begin with. The first company I started with took over a year of nothing but canceled appointments and 3 different people I was trying to work with. In the end after a year nothing was accomplished or ever started. They said they could do nothing for me. I was lucky enough to meet Eddie Jones who is a professional and a hard working family man who understands people just want honesty and the truth and someone who is going to do the right thing. Eddie and the South O Roofing team within two weeks got me approved for a full roof replacement without any hassle and answered every question, phone call and email and walked me through every step along the way. Eddie was even kind enough to work with me at his home with any questions or concerns I had. Long story short, if your looking for true professionals and a honest business South O Roofing is by far the choice here in the Omaha area. I could not be me pleased to have met Eddie Jones and the team over there at South O Roofing. I had a new roof up in no time in a matter of 3 weeks after asking for their help. South O Roofing should be your choice for all you Roofing needs along with windows. Just ask for Eddie Jones. He is the man!! Thanks again South O Roofing and especially Eddie. As a senior citizen with the hail damage that was done to my house and roof, and with everyone in the neighborhood, getting different companies and people coming, door-to-door was a very confusing process to have to deal with and since I am South Omaha born I chose this company, and I am so thankful and blessed that I did and I would recommend this company to anyone the owner walked me through every step and helped me with making decisions and dealing with the insurance company which was a difficult job as with all insurance companies, and then wow here comes a roofing crew that was so courteous and kind and got the job done quickly and as well the siding guys were amazing the guys putting up gutters also did good work. As for all the steps in the process, the staff and office people worked very hard with help of assisting picking things out that I needed and kept me posted on all the details that made this process successful and I love love my house I did pick a company that was very reputable and dependable and they did live up to all the expectations that I had and I think all them and their workers

I had a great experience working with Byron and Nikki. I write this review to give genuine feedback to a company that could be really good. I have personally used them twice and recommended them several times. But over the past year I have realized that their work is not as good as I once thought.The bottom line is that they get the work done, but it is sub par work. The owner truly seems that he cares. He is responsive to fix/repair/respond to issues with the initial job, but in the long run, the job wasn't done right the first or even the second time.I had another roofing company, innovative roofing company (Over 300 5 Star reviews), come out to give me a bid on some other work needing done and they immediately spotted 3 major issues with the way the roof was done.Other things to note1. They are very good with insurance but I felt that they were so good with insurance only to leverage my claim in order to put the most amount of money in the company's pockets, not to actually get me the best service possible.2. Some of their employees can seem to be overly pushy and aggressive. I don't know if this is just the person I worked with or the general culture of the company.Hope that this feedback makes the company better and helps customers know what to expect.

We had several contractors visit our home before selecting South O Roofing. Eddie was timely, professional and honest. Eddie asked about other contractors we were considering and stated positive comments about each - which I appreciated. He did let me know why I should select his company vs the others, but in a professional manner, unlike other companies that visited us.The work was done as planned. It was delayed by a week due to weather, but we were notified and an apology was made. The roof looks great. The work that we asked to be done was agreed upon and completed in full. I hired South O to fix my roof, siding after the Derecho in CR. Dennis did good job, followed up and provided response in a timely manner. I really had a hard time to get them out after the major work was completed. I hired inspector to do inspection and found out some issues that needed to be fixed, I spent a long time to ask them to come down to CR. They eventually agreed with me to hire a local contractor to finish the work. That's how I grew not trusting South O Management. Work is done, I deducted that from the final payment that I owe them. I had a final insurance check. The amount bigger than what I owe them. It has me, my husband, and South O names on it. I let them know, they would need to give me a check before I can sign off and mail it to them. I did this because I want to make sure they refund the correct portion of mine. I waited for a long time. Finally, the check will be expired in seven days. I drove to their office in Omaha, NE . When I arrived their office, the office girl asked me to write a personal check, so they can endorse it. I did that. She went to the back office and come out told me they would not accept my personal check, and asked me to go get a cashier to them. My case was, it was not the first time I gave my person check to them, why on earth they didn't accept it this time. They could have taken the insurance check and wrote me a check for the amount they owe me and date the check in 7 days later. The most irate thing was they took my insurance check against my will, and told me that insurance check "is not going to leave the office!" Not to mention before she took my check. She said she just want to take a look and will give me back right away. But she didn’t!! I felt like they are stealing my property against my will because Portion of the check was my property as well. I told them I will need a refund check from them right away. However they believe the insurance check will not be cleared even though the date of the check was clearly showing it will expired in 7 days. The situation was hostile. Since I drove that far, and I needed to get things resolved. I went to get a cashier check. They then endorsed the insurance check for me. I deposited the insurance check right away and the bank told me it will be cleared the next day.When I went back to the office to get a receipt, I heard someone in the back office making loud comment base on my ethnicity "Old Asian Lady" . I told the receptionist that was a very unnecessary comment. I should not be treated this way. It was very unprofessional of the back office support on their end .

They billed my insurance company for1133sf of r&r sheathing on my roof they didn't remove existing sheathing,they only installed 416sf of new sheathing over the old sheathing on north side of roof even though they were paid for 1133sf of r&r. They also billed 173lf of replacing facia. They actually only replaced 12lf on south side. When they finished the roof, instead of using a magnet to pick up nails on deck ; in yard, they used a leaf blower to blow them all over my yard. I'm paying my deductible to be rid of them I should take them to court. I have pictures of every!thing.!Services: Roof repair for storm & wind damage, Gutter installation

They came and put my roof on in two days. I have a large roof. It took them one day to tear off and one day to put it on. The yard was so clean after they left it was like no one had been there. They workers were super polite and professional. I tell all my friends about the great work.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!Eddie tried to take advantage of my mother and screamed at her about how she doesn’t take care of her home, he was very mean to my mom and tried to get 1000 dollars out of her just for coming over. after not even turning in insurance paperwork after a month he then told her “ well i don’t want to work with you anyway” please find another company!

It's sad ...but if this were a good review ...you tell 10 people 2 would use their services....but this isn't so ten people will tell 10 people who will tell 10 more and multiphasic this situation....we have been yanked this ways with promises and smiles.....then just being ignored as they ask for more money.....work is not up to Nebraska codes or standards....we are still waiting for an itemized work and the amounts each service cost..... As they just ignore us and ask for more money.
