Professional, contentious, caring. The team was outstanding.My old Victorian needed lots of TLC to give her a new roof. There were many issues that ranged from rot repair to needing to take the old shake shingles off--down to the bare bones of the original build. The project took longer than expected, but results are totally worth it.i have a solid roof Ober my head, rotted wood has been replaced, and proper roof ventilation addressed. My old Vic still needs work, but now she has a fantastic new roof.Thank you, Jim! Kudos to Steve and Trent who oversaw the project, and to the hard-working crew!

They were very prompt at showing up to get me a quote. The quote I was given was very reasonable and I never felt like I was being “sold” on repairs that weren’t truly needed. They where very quick to get us in after a bad hail storm. Overall pretty happy with our experience. They replaced the roof, some siding and all the gutters. We did have to ask them to come back to fix a small piece and also come back to pick up nails.If I could change one thing, I would have asked for a heads up when they where sending crew to the house. We have children and pets, and it was stressful working around no notice. Like most folks with a roof problem, I didn’t have the luxury of time to shop around for bids and then weigh the options. I needed somebody I could trust who offered a fair price in exchange for peace of mind that it would be done right. I’ve been burned before by storm chasers and fly-by-night roofing companies so when I heard the Thompson & Thompson 3rd generation ad on the radio, they were my first call. A company that had built a strong reputation in the area for taking care of the people they serve in the community in which they live. I am writing this review in retrospect as a completely satisfied customer who is so thankful for the quality of service I received and the way it was offered. Each individual that came onto my property, whether they carried a clipboard, or a hammer made me feel like my job was the most important thing they had going. They took the time to explain the scope of the work, I was given thorough updates on the progress made each day, and the work was completed in a timely fashion. To me, Thompson & Thompson 3rd generation truly lives up to their commitment to go above and beyond to make sure customers are satisfied with the end result.Thank you, T &T, I am a customer for life.

I had Jim come by for a roofing inspection and he really went above and beyond. Not only did he look at every aspect from all angles with pictures, he also gave an incredibly detailed and informative video explaining everything he saw to me. I feel like the price I paid wasn't worthy of the incredible job he did. If only I could take him with me when I eventually move lol!

I discovered a leak while I was staying in my son’s house and he was in the hospital. I am from out of state. The response to my problem was quick and I couldn’t believe the whole project was done before we both had to leave. I now have no worries about the roof. They did a great job and I knew I was dealing with honest professionals.

This is specific to their insulation and ventilation department. I called off their TV commercial. Phone reps are prompt and courteous. The sales agent left everything to be desired. I will summarize as fast as possible. Late for inspection, didn't listen to the issues with ventilation. Bid a product that wouldn't work. 3 days late on promised estimate delivery, the estimate had another customers name on it.If you have a routine thing, go ahead and take your chances. If you have a situation that requires talent, choose someone else.Updated : I confirmed with two other companies that not sealing the air gaps and the ventilation they wanted to add wouldn't have accomplished anything. Do not hire this company unless you want to be gouged for spraying insulation overtop and ignoring the real issues. He is also very rude.

I called and they quoted me at a fair price and were able to come out in a matter of days! They installed 40 foot gutters on my pole parn and did a phenomenal job. To boot, I got a "thank you box" with cookies that was super cool, just for doing business with them. I was had some attic ventilation issues this past winter that caused water spots on my upstairs ceiling. Had another company come look at it and recommended a way to fix it but after never hearing back from them with a bid and repeated contacts by both email and phone , I gave up on them and called Thompson and Thompson 3rd generation. They came 2 days later evaluated and recommended a fix that was more than likely way less expensive than the competitor’s based on the work involved, but will definitely solve my attic airflow problem. Had a bid less than a week later and the work completed a few weeks after that. The workmanship was great and done in a timely manner. Excellent Job!!! Pete and the team at Thompson & Thompson were fantastic to work with!! Pete was very patient in answering all of our questions. He explained the work to be done and how it would solve the issue as well as save on our heating and cooling bills. The roofers doing the job were very courteous and cleaned up after the job was done.The final price was what was estimated so no surprises.We hope to not need a repair any time soon but would absolutely use them again if needed and would recommend to anyone.

Thompson & Thompson replaced the roofs and gutters on our home, patio, and shed after the recent hail storm. Dan did a great job of inspection, explaining what damage was incurred, estimating the total cost, and giving us replacement options.The crew was here when they were scheduled, professional, courteous, and very focused on getting the job done efficiently and correctly. The majority of the work was done in one day with minimal issues to the exterior of the home and landscaping. Excellent clean up afterward.A small issue came up after the house roof was installed. The foremen were here to inspect the same day that I contacted them. They found that there was no problem with the roof but that a vent had been incorrectly installed years before and took care of this for us while they were here.
