Great burgers, tater tots and spicy cheese curds. Amazing homemade desserts such as the coconut cream pie a la mode with pecan praline ice cream, apple pie, cinnamon buns, donuts and more! All set in an old pharmacy with original fixtures, tin ceiling and local products such as jams, candles, apparel and more.Parking: Plenty of free street parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Flat open spaces and entryways.

We found this gem on our way through the area, just off I-80. Delicious breakfast and lunch items, especially the award winning green chili, local eggs and some of the best cheese curds I've ever had, but everything was delicious. We took pie to go, it looked so good but we didn't have room due to their generous portions. Can also get other baked goods, frozen or canned items. Accommodating and friendly service, particularly towards our young kids. Very clean. Very affordable. The public restroom is located directly across the street and is also very clean. Apparently their hours can vary, so call to confirm they are open.Parking: Easy to park on the street in this small town.Kid-friendliness: Very welcoming and accommodating towards our young children. Good kids menu options.

We drove right by here on our Lincoln Highway trip. But even if you have to veer off I-80, this is well worth the stop. We were excited to try the (mini!) tin roof sundae - this was the original home of this famous sundae which features some of my favorite tastes from my youth -- fudge sauce and peanuts; ice cream and marshmallow fluff. Yes, all together in a tall sundae dish!We chatted with the owner who was also working as short order cook. The burgers on the flat top looked amazing! Based on all the locals coming and going, I bet this is the hub of the community. Definitely worth a stop!Kid-friendliness: Very family friendly environment!

So glad I stopped in Potter NE.The Potter Sundry is a wonderful place. Got a really good apple pecan salad and a huge slice of pie. Nice little park across the street to sit out and enjoy a beautiful day. Was able to pick up home made jams as well. If I lived closer I would eat here every day. Thank you for making me feel welcome in your wonderful town

. I just came across an Omaha World Herald article from 11 June 2017. It was a great story on Potter Sundry.. It is wonderful to read and see success stories, and the Great reviews.. This is not a review of food & services, but of activities and achievements, giving and serving. 9 Nov 23

Go for the famous Tin Roof Sundae the first time. Then find excuses to go back -- over and over. The dessert selection is delicious, and their entrees are yummy. And the people are fantastic. I haven't been there for breakfast, but if they open at 5 a.m. they must be good. Only a mile north of I-80, this place is worth the trip from wherever you are. It is popular and small, so you will have to queue outside during the busy times.

A hidden gem just off I80! Everything looks delicious but had to eat the historic tin roof sundae. Even the "mini" size is a feast. Wish I had room to try the pie. Wonderful clean Public restrooms across the street and the famous (and free) duckpin bowling alley nextdoor.Parking: Parking at the door available.

The Tin Roof Sundae was out of this world. I grew up in Potter and remember going to the Sundry to get a Tin Roof Sundae. Our stop was filled with memories from childhood days.I had the regular size and my life companion had the mini!!Thank you Missy for a wonderful time!!It’s very worth the stop.

What an amazing little restaurant in the cutest small town! I came in for brunch and was immediately greeted and seated. The waitress was very attentive and even reminded the cook (there was only one!) about a portion of my order that was missing kindly and respectfully without me saying a word. The food was delicious with a capital DELICIOUS (make sure to try the kolaches) and smacked with flavor only found in a good home-cooked meal. My only disappointment was I didn't have time (or stomach room) to try their famous tin sundae! 10/10 I recommend and will be returning when I come back through!

This was such a pleasant stop off of I-80. An amazing small town with great hospitality. Tons of homemade desserts. Homemade jams for sale. $5.50 kid meals. My family of 6 (4 small kids) LOVED it! You should stop.

Stopped for breakfast 10/29 on a Thursday. Was served a delicious breakfast and good coffee for very affordable price. No public restroom but a very nice public bathroom across the street (up the ramp). Thanks for making our morning. Also have wonderful jellies for sale. They serve them to try on your breakfast toast.

My wife and brother and I rode up from Scottsbluff Saturday and probably had the best Ruben sandwich ever. Great service and the tin roof sunday was a killer. Very cool building too. 100% recommended by me. Second time for us and it isn't the last.

The owner stayed open late to cook us a burger then made us a picture worthy Tin Roof Sundae. Good food, interesting spot and great folks. Worth a short drive off I80

The food quality, service and prices were the best I have ever experienced. This place is amazing and must stop and treat yourself. I have one regret i wish I had tried the ice cream. They also sell local made jams that are amazing!! Make a stop you won't regret.

We walked into this pace to grab some breakfast. The moment we walked in I felt unwelcome, we weren't greeted by any of the staff and it wasn't until I walked to the end of the restaurant that I was acknowledged. I ordered our food to go because it would've been extremely uncomfortable to dine in. The only reason I even stayed and ordered is because there isn't anywhere else to eat for a while. The very short time we waited for our food was painfully uncomfortable. I gave it 2 stars because the food was decent. Price was average.
