Hedgehog’s over the phone dispatch who I worked with and the tech were 100% top notch professionals. They were all very courteous, listened carefully, and made sure my needs were met. The tech also went through a standard rate sheet after I discussed in person the issues I was having, and how those standard rates applied with my service call. There by giving me the choices of what services I wanted rendered and left me - the customer - in control. I recommend Hedgehog after my experience

Unfortunately we decided not to do the upgrade because of the enormous price of installation.New Review for Dec 2022:Electricians Jonathan and Corey did an excellent job on installing a 20 amp service for our mini split. I appreciate them cutting out and reinstalling the sheetrock in the garage that I can patch later this week. They’re precise in their work, quick, and cleaned up their mess. They also did a free electrical inspection and identified circuit breakers that required replacement. These two men are an asset to your company and highly recommend them. They are the most positive vendor we’ve experienced since moving to Mesquite in 2017.Salesman: TamasInstallation Crew: Jacob (Journeyman Electrician), Ben, Jonathan, James, and Chance.Site Scheduler: Donny and Connor (on site survey as well)Project Manager: MalcomTheir salesman is non-pressuring, presents an overview where your solar panels will be installed, the estimated annual savings, and a projected 25 year cost savings. Furthermore, homes installed with solar panels increases your value by 4.1%. After the installation was completed, we called our insurance company to add the solar panels to our homeowner’s policy, and it increased our home value by $90K (18.7%). Perhaps it depends on the number of panels and kilowatt production, however not complaining about our home value.Hedgehog uses their employees from start to finish. All permits are included in the price. We had zero worries and abundant communication.Jake and his crew did our installation in 3 days. The crew was friendly, professional, answered all concerns and questions, replaced broken tiles, and cleaned up their mess.The project manager was transparent, met all milestones. They’re an honest company, customer focused and will not hesitate to use them again.Finally, there are other solar companies that may offer a lower price. Ask yourself these questions; will there be an electrician journeyman on site; will there be subcontractors dividing the work; are the subcontractors licensed and bonded?

We used Hedgehog to purchase and install our solar system. This was the most amazing experience. Their customer service is absolutely top notch. Tyler was the sales person, he explained everything in detail and did not use any pressure tactics. We felt all our questions were answered and treated us with respect and patience.The installation was also an amazing experience, the installers, Roberto, Dillian and Johnson, knew their job and were very professional. They left no mess actually it was cleaner when they left than before they came.We would totally recommend Hedgehog. Five stars is not enough.

The whole Hedgehog Electric & Solar experience was superb from the beginning. From the sales visit to final installation everything went smoothly. The representatives were on time, professional and friendly. They answered any and all questions that we had and continue to be of service today. I don’t normally give 5-star reviews and in this case it was definitely deserved. Every member of the team treated us with respect and I will definitely use them again. Tyler is the best!!!!!

We had a roof leak and Hedgehog was fantastic about coming out and checking for any problems with our solar system. Rafael spent time looking in the attic crawl space and verifying that there were several leaks but not from the solar installation. Rafael was courteous and so helpful! Very impressed with their service.

If I could give negative stars I would. The salesman was great and the installation went well. I have had nothing but trouble with the meters since the installation. You have to call and schedule someone to come out, it takes DAYS and they gaslight the heck out of you to explain the problems. “It will take 48 hours after the service call to see the change.” I believe I have had at lease FIVE visits and the problem is still not resolved. I wish they would fix these problems as quick as they grabbed and cashed my check. I DO NOT recommend this business.

Rex and Dominik changed a cam-light fixture into a fixture that would support a Cali Lily chandelier. They adjusted the links on the chandelier so that it would hang at a length to accent the entryway perfectly. They were knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. They attentively listened to me explain why the fixture was meaningful to me, and Dominik even stated it was more than a light fixture to him now, too. Rex cleaned up after the job was finished so well, I jokingly commented I would need to clean up the remainder of our home to meet HedgeHog standards. By the time the two gentlemen left, my husband and I told them we felt we had made two new friends. They said one of the good things about working for HedgeHog is that they are to take their time and make sure their customers are thoroughly satisfied. It is their policy not to simply do the job well, but to build relationships.
