I had a plumbing emergency this morning when a shower wouldn’t turn off at one of my tenant’s homes. I called Hawthorne and they sent Anthony Gil on an emergency call. Anthony showed up in less than an hour and repaired the problem quickly. He was fast, efficient, polite and courteous and the cost was reasonable. I will definitely use Hawthorne Plumbing in the future and I recommend them highly.

They were actually referred to me by another plumbing co. I am forever grateful for this. Trent showed up early (which I appreciated. I prefer early to late) and he was very professional, very up front. No hidden fees or unnecessary add-on charges. I had a broken hose bib & with cold weather coming it was becoming worrisome to me. I know how a leaky hose bib can lead to broken pipes etc. In the future this will be my first call when plumbing issues arise. Thank you staff. Everyone I talked to was great, from initial call to service. 5 stars.

We had a leak in a water line on our water heater and it was spraying water in our garage. It was 7:30pm and Javier was sent to help. He went out of his way as well as the office manager to open the shop and retrieve the parts needed to fix the leak. Javier was great!Pricing for after hours was very reasonable.

Horrible service, Took day's to get the job done. Tried to charge me a weekend fee when nothing was done on the weekend. Very rude technician that left his trash from doing the repairs in front of my house on the ground. The only good thing was the supervisor who helped minimize the price. Would not recommend or use this service again.

I called this company to come troubleshoot a leak at my water meter. The tech came out and did troubleshoot or that is what he said he did. He told me the leak was in my main water line and was 100% confident. He then proceeded to tell me I had to replace my entire main line because it was so hard to find parts. The quotes started at $7000 and up from there. Of course I got second opinions and found out it was the irrigation valve that was the problem. I would stay away from a company like this and if you do use them, get a second opinion if they tell you need major work. Thankfully, we did not use them.

Please let me tell you, I called these guys on a Friday, (A professional reception) they sent a tech the same day, (when they said they would) and made the repairs the same day as well. I was given options for the repairs, which were fully explained. The tech, Anthony, was polite, experienced, and professional. I highly recommend Hawthorne Plumbing. We set up an appointment through their website and a few days before the appointment they called to reschedule because they gave our appointment to an elderly couple. We have two babies and we’re using space heaters to heat our house. We accepted the new date and they called again to reschedule because a job was taking up two days unexpectedly and the next appointment wasn’t for another two weeks and we were gearing up for a snow storm. We told them we had two kids and needed the job done they said the soonest was November 18th. We turned around and called Sierra air who got use scheduled that same week and right before the snow storm. They completed the job fast and way cheaper than Hawthorne told us as estimate. Really unprofessional to reschedule multiple times on a client. Your booking issues are not the customers problem.

I've had to call these guys a couple of times for emergency situations. I've never had a hard time getting through and even scheduled same-day. The technicians are knowledgable and quick with an estimate. Javier came out today and was able to solve a leaking pipe in the crawl space this afternoon. He replaced 2 failing joints and a pipe within a few hours. When my ancient water heater failed, Nick was able to get quote us for a removal and tankless install that afternoon and the work was done cleanly and efficiently with good long-term care options.Take care of your plumbing people! My water heater burst and needed it replaced. They had an estimator out the same day, I felt the price was way too high but it is was comparable to all the other phone estimates I had already gotten. Maybe labor prices are just higher in Reno than anywhere else. But the customer service was great and we decided to go with them Hawthorne because of their quick response. The service tech Nate did a great job. He was able to get to work right then. We were able to take a hot showers the next morning before work.

Nate is literally amazing, we couldn’t be happier with the amount of diligence, professionalism, and absolute patience he displayed while making a real doozy of a repair in our condo. He probably had to come a total of 6 times and was always kind and knowledgeable with each snag we hit. When cutting into our and our neighbor’s drywall, he was extremely precise and took out as little as possible as to not inconvenience either of us further. We were extremely happy with every aspect of our service!!! The scheduler got us on the calendar quickly and Jay did a fantastic job with the installation. On the hottest day of the year so far, my 83 year old mom lost AC. Her long time vendor could not service her AC for 2 weeks. After 2 1/2 days we managed to find Hawthorne and called and they came out the same day - the tech did everything he could to save her 32 year old air conditioner but it wasn't meant to be. He then made sure that he could come out the next day with a new one and had her new unit installed and the AC on by the late afternoon the day after we called. The work that he did to try and save the old unit was not charged to us. We will always be thankful for Hawthorne and Bob for moving heaven and earth to get our mom air conditioning. My water heaters expansion tank blew a leak on an early Saturday morning and there was water running through my garage due ot te leak. I was headed for trouble if I didn't get it fixed soon. I was able to turn the water off but my there were two leaks within the valve area and it was very difficult to work in the tight space where the tank was. I called Hawthorne plumbing and spoke to someone who was very professional and she took down all my information and told me that she would get back to me ASAP.Within an hour a Service Tech showed up, assessed the issue, gave me options, then quickly got to work. He was very knowledgeable, patient, clear in his intent, and very professional. Within 15 minutes he had the job finished.
