11-13-2023In all my 39 years of doing business with various contractors in northern NH, I want to recommend Colebrook Plumbing & Heating to prospective customers looking for quality electrical, heating, and plumbing services. I have known Mr. Carrier for 40+ years. He and every journeyman that he has employed have been proficient, courteous, timely, and professional whenever I have utilized their services in the three homes that I have owned with my husband. Unlike most of the contractors that we have hired, his men do an outstanding job of cleaning up each day. Paying for quality work is better than paying less for slipshod work! Absolutely rude and condescending. Being a female I was treated as though I had no clue what I was asking for and was told “well how am I expected to make money” by the man when asking for what was needed/wanted for the job rather than just agreeing with everything he was adding on his own. He said he would not do plumbing if we provided our own fixtures due to the lack of quality, and then also informed me that he was using the same name brand fixtures I had already purchased. After a 10 minute conversation with answering questions, I was told I was “wasting his time” by getting other estimates from other companies in the area and he wouldn’t even try to compete with them. He outright told me that he was expensive and that people call him every day and he didn’t need my business. I will absolutely never recommend this business to anybody.

So I've dealt with many vendors/contractors/repairmen doing repairs on my 6000 sq ft house. I've done house flipping, owned many homes and understand the value of doing something right. The guys at Colebrook Plumbing actually understand what they are doing and you won't have to do constant call backs for work that wasn't done properly. They also saved me 1000s of dollars by alerting me that I had left a toilet running (faulty flusher) (the town alerted them - who then contacted me) Yes, you pay a little more per hour but as in everything in life, you get what you pay for. The cheapest rate will almost always cost you way more. The plumber was very professional and on time. We had a pipe burst and he did a great job and noticed what caused the problem and corrected it. Left things looking neater than before.

Over charges and billing not itemized and takes advantage of people without explanation bad and no referring to my friends and family at all. Not a home town business made for southerners .
