I’m pleased to offer this review of Crossroads Contracting because we’ve had such great experiences. When you think about a construction project, you may think about attention to detail, quality of the workmanship, and meeting deadlines. Of course Crossroads checks these boxes, but that’s just the project – not the experience. The experience is about Crossroads’ willingness to listen, communicating through every phase, being easy to work with, and establishing a partnership with their clients that is built on mutual trust. Follow that up with a commitment to stand behind their work, and you have not just a successful construction project, but peace of mind. I would highly recommend the team at Crossroads, and as further testament, we are on our second project with them now.

We used Crossroads to finish our basement. This included a living area, gym, bathroom, office, and bar area. We worked with Crystal, Keri, and Jasmine at the onset of the project who were all amazing at helping us design and pick out exactly what we wanted. While the project was ongoing, Crossroads members on-site such as Wayne were super helpful to inform us of changes and updates in real time.Like most projects, things don't always go exactly to plan and there can be some small hiccups along the way. The Crossroads team was quick to tackle these issues, get our input, and find a reasonable solution, which was greatly appreciated on our end. In the end, we were left with a beautiful basement and could not be happier with the final product!We would highly recommend Crossroads to anyone looking for someone reliable, high quality, and with integrity to complete their next home project.

Last Fall, Crossroads finished our basement, over 1800 sq feet, which was the culmination of a year’s worth of preparation, design and construction. Overall, they did an amazing job through every phase of this project, and we are very pleased and excited about our new finished basement space! Their attention to detail and willingness to share their ideas with us during the design and construction phases really made an enormous impact. The on site carpenters, Wayne and Kim routinely walked us through not only the work that they were doing, but also what other plumbing, electrical or HVAC work was also planned on any given day.. In addition, we really liked their mobile app as it allowed frequent and easy communications when we had any questions. The app also gave us terrific transparency into the working schedule, so that we knew who would be at our house and what they would be doing at any time. We highly recommend Crossroads for their quality craftsmanship, attention to detail and ease of communications throughout a project.

We worked with Crossroads Contracting through last Fall with a goal of making areas of our home more accessible for our veteran. The entire crew could not have been more kind, responsive, and personally invested in the quality of their work, from the design to the finishing touches. The designer, Kerri, ensured that our bathroom renovation met our practical needs, with easier entry, safe grab bars, bench, etc., without sacrificing aesthetic. It is absolutely gorgeous!!. The company's online project dashboard allowed us to communicate directly as needed with the project manager, view images of our bathroom and deck renovation products, and follow along with the work timelines for full transparency.

Crossroads is the best!!! They built a two story addition with a basement which included adding a bedroom and a bathroom on the 2nd floor. They also completely renovated our first floor, including a brand new kitchen.From the beginning, Crystal was awesome with helping us understand and visualize our goals. She was great with communication and worked with us on our plan.Kerri, the design consultant was great helping us choose cabinets, countertops, and fixtures.Bob, the lead carpenter that we had I can not speak highly enough about. Crossroads built us a new detached garage at our home in Derry. It was a fantastic experience all around.Their communication was amazing (something that is particularly hard to find in contractors, let's be honest). They were always here when they said they would be, they checked in with us once a week even when we were in a waiting period.The actual work was also really great. They did everything from the design to the site work all the way to the painting. The subcontractors were all professional and friendly, and the Crossroads guys did a perfect job of coordinating everything to keep things going smoothly and quickly. Their design team came up with a design that matched everything we asked for and then some, and then they made it a reality.We only had one small issue with the floor, and the Crossroads guys didn't hesitate to completely re-do it (on their dime). Issues happen in every job, and having them address it without any pushback ... we knew we'd be happy with the final result at that point.We will absolutely be using Crossroads for future jobs.

My husband and I began our first home improvement 15 years ago with Crossroads Contracting. Without hesitation or any reservations, we have repeatedly chosen their company when we have wanted or needed to renovate, remediate and elevate the appearance and value of our home. We trust them implicitly and feel completely confident, comforted and assured that the end result will be perfection.Back in 2008, we had a vision of adding a farmers porch to our home. At the time, Nick was the lead carpenter on our project. To this day, we receive countless wonderful compliments on the beauty of his craftsmanship and attention to detail. We’ve truly lost track of how many passerby’s have asked for the name of our contractor.During our most recent project in 2022-2023, Craig was our lead carpenter with Ryan following in his footsteps to lead. These guys did outstanding work and gave our home the love they’d give their own! The crew treated us great and were so friendly and accommodating to our young children. Any and all issues were addressed and we never felt ignored on anything. Our experience started with our remodeling consultant, Crystal who was very knowledgeable and helped thoroughly explain the remodeling process. She was well prepared with documentation, pictures of completed work, and references to back up CrossroadsContracting commitment to customer satisfaction. She was able to promptly answer any questions we had and made herself available any time, which was especially challenging during this pandemic. It was very clear that Crystal enjoys what she does and who she represents, which validated that we made the right choice in contractors.Keri helped us with material selection and provided a lot of samples and colors to choose from for the siding, rails and banisters, roofing, and shutters. Shaun, one of the project managers, was on-site for a site inspection and helped determine the type and color of shingle that we needed for the farmer's porch through visual inspection of the current roof. That was a testament to his experience in the industry.Our project manager, Darren is knowledgeable and has an amazing temperament. Even though we explained the previous challenges we had with other repairs, Darren assured us that Crossroads could successfully manage any issue they encountered and would ensure the project was completed to our satisfaction. Within 45 minutes of starting the project, the team encountered their first issue involving excavation and a leach field that is too close to the house. He presented some options which included resurfacing the existing decks or getting into a more involved project that would require movement of the leach field. Ultimately we settled on leaving things as is, until we could afford to replace the septic and leach field which would then be relocated. Darren was also good at communicating schedule changes or change orders and helped us with managing the construction loan with Salem Five.The remodeling team, Sam, Keith, and Kim were amazing. They have an incredible work ethic and always showed up when I would not have expected (heavy snow, temps in the teens). Despite the additional effort of trying to manage the weather and its impacts to the job site, they took the entire thing in stride and successfully completed the work ahead of the proposed schedule even with the weather impacts. Sam did a fantastic job interpreting the site plans and making them a reality for us. When John proposed alterations to existing work, Sam happily agreed and made the changes. Sam also takes a tremendous amount of pride in his craft and if he saw that something wasn't quite right, he would make sure that it was corrected to his satisfaction.Jeff, the electrician, cleaned up our main breaker box before quickly installing the transfer switch for the backup generator. The installation was quick and resulted in minimal disruption to the electricity within the house, which was very important because the kids were remote schooling and I was working from home at the time.The team responsible for the siding worked very quickly in low temperatures and snowy weather to ensure the house was minimally exposed. They also did a really good job with site clean-up which was also challenging with the snow on the ground.Overall, this experience has been amazing and working with so many dedicated professionals has been a delight. My family and I couldn't be happier with how the renovation turned out.Service: Remodeling

I found Crossroads Contracting at a Homeshow. Crystal was there and spoke with me about what I would need to have and do to remodel my kitchen, breakfast nook and dining room. Once I agreed to construction, everything went flawlessly. Even my last minute changes were handled professionally. Everyone I dealt with were talented and friendly. Now I have the kitchen of my dreams and talking about another remodel in another part of my house.

I recently hired Crossroads Contracting to do my kitchen renovation and small addition. I could not be more pleased with the team and the overall results of the project.Crystal, the designer walked me through all the preliminary steps and worked with me in finding the design that would best meet my needs. Crystal also gave me a head's up on things that normally do come up with construction projects, i.e. delays in shipping cabinets, or flooring, etc.With that in mind, my project started in the middle of May and was essentially finished by September. A couple of last minute finishes were completed after that.The lead carpenter, TJ, on the job was great. He showed up every day and let me know what was happening along with the project manager assigned to me.I would highly recommend Crossroads Contracting. Crossroads came at the recommendation of a structural engineer to make repairs needed of our 150 year old house. We ended up contracting with them for that work and a remodel of the kitchen and bathroom. They pulled the foundational repairs off extremely well, and they turned the kitchen and bathroom into a much brighter and modern space. Communication throughout the entire project was prompt, friendly and professional. If you are in need of a small or large project in your home, Crossroads is worth your time to engage with!

Crossroads renovated our kitchen which included removing a load bearing wall and installing a support beam. They also installed new vinyl siding on our home’s exterior and replaced all of the windows and exterior doors. Throughout the process we were always kept informed about the project status and what to expect. Before the work started, Josh was great with planning out the renovation and designing our new kitchen. Keri was wonderful with helping us pick out our finishes. Craig and TJ were great, reliable and professional workers. Craig’s carpentry skills and attention to detail were excellent. Roto was a great project manager, always keeping us in the loop and working with us on any issues that arose. Any issues that we did encounter were quickly resolved. We are very happy with the end product. It feels great see the renderings turn into reality! We would definitely recommend Crossroads.

Crossroads was great to work with at every level on our basement renovation, from Project Management to the team that carried out the work. Project Management was particularly important in coordinating the project when we ran into an unforeseen structural issue in our 100+ year old home, and were flexible along the way when we wanted to tweak the plan. We knew exactly when the team would be arriving each day and the days that they wouldn't be on site, so there were never any surprises. They carried out their work in a very professional manner and left their workspace tidy at the end of the day...it's the little things that count. I highly recommend them.

We built an addition and did a major kitchen remodel, along with updating utilities. I loved working with a company that does design and build because it was all streamlined and easy. We had a complete kitchen/dining area, living room, hallway, entrance way remodel. From vaulting a ceiling, new walls, painting, hardwood floors, electrical and plumbing. Absolutely amazing ... the transformation in a home 50+ years old. Crystal and Josh had some wonderful design ideas that really makes our kitchen more than we ever imagined. We had a great experience with Crossroads Contracting from design right through to completion. They fully remodeled a family room for us and also installed new flooring and crown molding and fully repainted all of our bedrooms. The family room remodel transformed a very dated 1980's vintage room into a modern and comfortable oasis for our family. The entire project was accomplished on time and on budget. Everyone at Crossroads as well as the subcontractors working for them were professional, responsive to our needs and a joy to work with. We were looking for contractors to help us build our addition (garage with great room above). I did a lot of research and talked to a few contractors in the area. We decided to go with Crossroads in the end. Their pricing wasn't cheap, but it was fair. I was impressed by the process they used to manage the project. They took extra steps to explain the process and gave a presentation of the different stages before they even started work. The online tracking of the project through BuilderTREND was great. We were kept up-to-date on the project every step of the way. The sales team and construction crew were very professional and courteous. We decided to do some of the work ourselves to save money, and they were more than happy to answer questions when I didn't know how to do some of the work or code requirements.From some of the stories I've heard from friends of other contractors they've used, I'm extremely glad we picked Crossroads. Can't say enough good things about them and would definitely hire them again for future projects.

We hired Crossroads Contracting for a complete kitchen remodel. The process from design to construction went very smoothly (as much as expected on a 1920s home and during unprecedented wait times on materials). What I particularly liked was how knowledgeable each person on the team was and if they didn't have an answer they would have one quickly. Crystal worked on several iterations of the kitchen layout to meet our needs. Keri provided insight and recommendations on all things design. Crossroads Contracting built a detached garage for us, and also did a new roof and new siding forour house. They were super professional throughout. The garage is beautiful and others have said the construction quality is superb. Never having embarked on a project this large we were apprehensive about any changes but their method is to deliver what they promised and to the extent we deviated (i.e., we added an additional garage door), the process was transparent and fair. Their workers are quality folks who know what they're doing. We are very happy with our experience!

Crossroads Contracting did a terrific job removing my old screen porch, building a beautiful new one, and installing a water drainage system for the exterior of my home. The quality of materials and the workmanship were both excellent. There were a couple of issues that arose after the work was done (not related to the actual construction), but these were all settled promptly and courteously. In my opinion, how the customer gets treated AFTER the job is finished is very important, and they place high value on customer satisfaction. Great company to do business with!

We shopped around for a company to help us with a large kitchen remodel. Once we met with Josh and heard about how Crossroads operates we were thrilled. An initial concern we had was that they are a distance from us and that they wouldn't be prompt to come fix little things once the bulk of the job was done. This was not an issue as they were always responsive and got every little thing done. They pride themselves on making sure the customer is happy as you can see from the reviews. We had a wonderful experienced working with everyone. We were also so impressed with the quality of the work and how well they cleaned up at the end of the day. After a 6 month process of getting bids, vetting companies and talking to countless professionals, we received estimates from 7 contractors/builders and clearly from the beginning, Crossroads stood out from the rest. Although our communication has been primarily with Crystal, everyone we have met has been professional, friendly, open and honest, and made us always feel comfortable asking any questions. Crossroads spent the most time getting to know myself, my family, our wants and needs to prepare an amazing plan for remodel and addition to our forever home. Crystal at Crossroads always seemed more interested in helping us learn and understand everything about our aspiring project than trying to sell her company as the best, though she always speaks very highly of her teammates. Crossroads wasn't the cheapest quote, but they spent at much more time walking us through every step of the process. When checking their references one thing that stood out was that everyone was thrilled with their outcome, Crossroad and subcontractor crews, timelines, staying on budget and how no matter what issues came up, Crossroads addressed and fixed them immediately to their complete satisfaction with grace and professionalism.
