Peter Playdon Construction LLC was terrific to work with for our bathroom refresh project. We did 2 bathrooms at the same time. We didn’t want any structural changes. They listened to our wants & needs and delivered everything we asked for and more. They were dependable, respectful of our property, provided great design ideas and kept the construction zone as clean as they could considering it was construction. They were quick to accommodate our needs for a working shower quickly. All in all excellent workmanship and quality management throughout the entire process.

Peter Playdon Construction was top-notch and easy to work with from start to finish. He and his team run a tight ship and do quality work, from initial design to the finishing touches. I am so pleased with how everything came out. I have done several different bathroom renovations previously and have never had such an easy experience with a contractor before, and we will definitely use him again for any home projects that arise.

Positive: Professionalism, Quality, Communication, Responsiveness, ValuePeter and his team recently completed an 18' x 24' master bedroom addition with an unfinished basement for my Wife and I. As most construction, there were aspects of this work that added complexity such as the age of our home (mid 1930), unexpected cobbles and boulders encountered during excavation, and our existing field stone foundation that had to be integrated with the new construction. These complexity, however, did not prevent Peter and his team from providing us with a beautiful end product! Peter was very thorough every step of the way, worked closely with us, and kept us informed throughout construction. Peter was very diligent in responding to our calls/messages and worked with us to come up with solutions to any obstacle that was encountered.I would very much recommend Peter and his team to anyone considering a remodel to new construction.

We've worked with a number of contractors over the years. However, Peter and his crew stick out not only because it was the largest project we've ever undertaken, but his attention to detail, responsiveness and overall professionalism lead to the attached picture. Beyond that the project had a lot of moving pieces and we in essence finished on-time, which has not been the case with other smaller projects we've done in the past. Would I highly recommend Peter and his team....unequivocally yes. We have other projects in mind over the upcoming years and Peter will be the first person we'll call.

Peter has done several projects for my family over the past several years. He finished our basement at our townhouse and current house. He rebuilt our deck at both houses as well. He also managed a significant backyard project including the deck and putting in a screened in pergola in coordination with Boston Pergolas. He did some significant site work to be able to do a 30'x50' stone patio on a very sloped backyard. That project also include electrical installation for a future shed, installation of a generator, site prep for the shed (which I will have him do as well), coordination for connection to our underground propane tank. Pete also recently redid our master bath shower after a water leak issue and we absolutely love the new design. Sarah was great to work with selecting our design options. Peter and his team are detail oriented and the communication is great. No project goes without issues especially with labor and supply chain conditions, but Peter is excellent about communicating these and working towards solutions. We had Peter come to our home at the beginning of June 2021 after completing another property nearby to provide a quote for renovations. After three months of reaching out to him for the quote he came by to prepare, we have not heard anything back but did receive read receipts on our text messages. His communication was the thing the prior property owners said was less than desired, and we felt it was lacking as well.
